Empirical Study on TCM Patents Layout Based on Patent Function / 中国药学杂志

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To provide a method for objectively analyzing the level of companies' patent layout. It is of great significance for companies to study and adjust the strategy of patent layout in-depth study on the characteristics of TCM patent layout at home and abroad. METHODS: A two-dimensional quadrant bubble map was constructed based on the patent layout quantity and quality indicators, analyze the level of original patents and improved patents layout at home and abroad, select companies with high level of patent layout, and further analyze the above-mentioned companies' patent layout strategy. RESULTS: The greater the number of patents does not necessarily mean that the higher the level of patent layout of companies; the layout of original patents and improved patents comprehensively reflect the level of patent layout of companies; high-level patent layout of companies because of their own characteristics reflect the companies' differences in the patent layout strategy. CONCLUSION: Companies should pay attention to the quality and quantity of the patent layout at the same time, and formulate corresponding patent layout strategies according to their own characteristics.
