ABSTRACT
Objective:
To study the behavior of seeking medical care for people with disabilities under the background of Health Poverty Alleviation.Methods:
Descriptive statistics method was used to analyze the behavior of seeking medical care for people with disabilities based on the data of the National Health Poverty Alleviation Dynamic Management System.Results:
The Three Batch action plan mainly focuses on contracted services for chronic diseases; the number of visits for people with disabilities gradually increases, the proportion of visits within the county increases, and the proportion of hospitalizations decreases. The hospitals visited are mainly secondary hospitals, township health hospitals and community health service centers, and the medical expenditure is relatively high. These phenomena are different among disability conditions.Conclusion:
The behavior of people with disabilities was remarkably improved after Health Poverty Alleviation. In the future, we should consolidate the achievements of Health Poverty Alleviation, increase the prevention of chronic diseases for people with disabilities, and further improve the accessibility of medical services and the level of medical security for people with disabilities.
