ABSTRACT
Male infertility is a distressing and often ill-understood clinical problem. Most infertile males are treated empirically as we know so little about the endoctrine control of spermatogenesis. Reports on male infertility in Nigeria have stressed the role of varico-coles and bacterial chronic prostatitis in the aetiology of this syndrome. Inspite of the acknowleged high incidence of (pulmonary) tuberculosis in our mileu; tuberculosis as a cause of male infertility in Nigeria is underestimated
