ABSTRACT

Background: Recovery of maternal milk source is an urgent matter of many mothers in the breast feeding duration. Spinal hitting method of Nguyen Tham Tan has been applied on a lot of women lacked milk after giving birth but until now, there has not any resrearch on the method. Objectives: 1. To assess lactation effect resulting from spinal hitting method. 2. To evaluated effects of the method on milk quality and the concentration of prolactine in blood. Subjects and methods: 33 mothers who are lack milk after giving birth have been hit at points on their spine as follows: CS, C6, D2, L2-L3. These patients were treated during 15 days with one time a day, hitting duration of every time - 15 minutes. The study used open clinical method in comparison with the obtaining effects between pre and post reproducing. Results: Amount of breast milk per minute increases from 1.52ml \xb10.37ml (before treatment) to 2.20\xb10.42ml (after treatment). Number of children's feeding decreases and the concentrations of protein, lipid and glucose as well as vital elements in milk increase after treatment. The concentration of prolactine in blood increases from 2755.16m\xb5/ml (before treatment) to 3763.16m\xb5/ml (after treatment). Conclusion: Spinal hitting method has the effects of lactation, increase in prolactine concentration in bloods and positive effects on milk quality.
", u'
', u'
', u'

ABSTRACT

Background: Feeding baby by mother’s breast milk play an important role in primary health care. Objectives: To assess the effectiveness of improving secretion of mother’s milk by massage-presspoint method through several clinical indicators. Subjects and method: 33 mothers suffering oligogalactia after 5 months of delivery were applied the method of massage-presspoint. The technique was performed on Giap Tich points from D1-TL3, one time per day with 30 minutes of each time and treatment period of 20 days. The opened clinical and comparing pre-post treatment methods were used in the study. Results: 50% of good results, 36,67% of better and 13,33% of failure. Conclusion: The method of massage ?presspoint can improve the secretion of mother’sbreast milk, which were evidenced through some clinical indicators measuring on mothers and babies feeding mother’s milk.

ABSTRACT

Background: Auricular pressure method is a non-medication method which has been applied for a long time. This method significantly improved the clinical symptoms in premenopausal women. Objectives: to evaluate the effects of auricular pressure method on some hemological and endocrinal indices of the patients with pre-menopausal syndrome. Subjects and methods: 30 patients with menopausal syndrome aged 40- 55 were treated by applying continuously auricular method on Shen men, endocrine, sympathetic nerve points for 30 days. An open-clinical trial was conducted with a comparison of the results before and after treatment. Results: After 30 days of treatment there were no change in hemological indices while serum Estradiol concentration increased to 199,33 \xb1 299,83pnol/l and FSH decreased to 16,33 \xb1 108,70 UL/I compared with those before treatment. The increased levels of estrogen explained partly the improvement of clinical symptoms after treatment. Number of erythrocyte, leukocyte, platelet, haemoglobin, hematocrit did not change. Conclusions: Auricular pressure method produced an influence on the levels of serum Estradiol and FSH. However, it caused no effects on hemological indices in the patients with menopausal syndrome.
', u'
', u'
', u'

ABSTRACT

Background: Menopause syndrome can occur between the ages of 44 and 55 when menstrual periods have completely stopped for more than 12 months. Objectives: To evaluate the effects of auricular pressure method in the symptoms of menopausal syndrome. Subjects and method: 30 patients at the age of 40 ?55 years old, suffering from menopausal syndrome, treated by auricular at National Hospital of Traditional Medicine. Pressure method applied on women, sympathetic nerve, endocrine points for 30 days continuously. The method was open-clinical trial with before and after treatment comparison. Results: After 30 days of treatment, the severity of all symptoms had reduced, the difference was to be statistically significant p<0.05. Symptom of hot point had reduced after 30 days of treatment. Mean point reduced from 2.7 \xb1 0.6 to 0.7 \xb1 0.6 point, the difference was to be statistically significant p<0.001. Blatt ?Kupperman also had reduced after 30 days of treatment. Blatt ?Kupperman point reduced from 36 \xb1 8.4 to 10.9 \xb1 7.3, the difference was to be statistically significant p<0.001. Stimulation on the auricular points is non-medication method which has been applied for a long time. Clinical syndrome were improved after each therapy course. Good results was 36,7%, moderate were 60% and noresponse 3,3%. Conclusion: Auricular pressure method improved significant the symptom of menopausal syndrome.
', u'
', u'

ABSTRACT

Background: For a long time, the domestic pharmaceutical companies have performed Public Relation (PR) activities to help their business and ensure good relations with their customers. However, the effects of the pharmaceutical companies’ PR activities were not high. Objective: To discover the actual circumstances of PR for a number of pharmaceutical companies in Viet Nam in recent years. Subjects and method: Subjects were the PR activities of pharmaceutical companies through the relations with various public groups. This was a descriptive, retrospective and observational study. Results: The pharmaceutical companies were more and more interested in relations with the public through sponsorship programs. Client relations had been consolidated after health consultancies, customer conferences, workshops, trade fairs, etc… The image of domestic pharmaceutical companies has appeared more often on mass media. Internal PR activities had built the culture of business and cemented relations between the company and employees. Investment and distribution relations had lagged behind. Conclusions: The PR activities of the pharmaceutical companies appeared to be more varied through relations with various public groups, making contributions to the development of the company.

ABSTRACT

To understand about impacts of traditional relaxation on ECG, we recorded ECG of 108 people practicing traditional relaxation at Duong sinh Dep., Vietnam Institute of Traditional Medicine. Everybody’s ECG is recorded 3 times: before, after a exercise and after the period of practice. From the research results we come to conclusions as follows:-Alpha increases in frequency, amplitude, index with p<0.01- Beta does not change in amplitude, index decreases with p < 0.01. Teta and delta does not change in amplitude, index decreases with p< 0.01 and 0.05

ABSTRACT

Through the research result of 50 elderly peoples have practised relaxation we draw the following conclusion: 1. Traditional medicine’s relaxing practice has its effect to several biological indexes: *Electrict: -On ECG: the alpha wave increases in frequency, amplitude, indexes. The beta index reduces. The theta wave remains in charged. - On REG: The cardiac rhythm decreases and QT wave becomes longer but this change is not significant. *Respiratory: relaxation does not change the breath frequency and oxygen saturation (SaO2) * Circulation relaxation reduces pulse frequency, blood pressure (but still within normal unit), increases blood influx of limbs.* On Hop coc and Tuc tam ly points: The skin temperature increases, skin resistant decreases, no change with electric influx. On some biochemical indexes. Relaxation reduces sugar, cholesterol, triglycerid, cortison, catecholamin. 2. The change of some biochemical indexes mentioned above helps prove scientifically the effect of relaxation practice.

ABSTRACT

Research on effect of traditional medicine's relaxing practice on several biological indices of 50 people suffered from blood hypertension. We come to the following conclusion: Traditional medicine's relaxing practice has its effect to several biological indices: Respiratory activity: Breathing frequency and saturation of oxygen (SaO2), do not change when relaxation practice. Circulation activity: Pulse frequency, blood pressure decrease but limb's blood circulation increases. There is a change at Hop coc and Tuc tam ly acupuncture points: Skin temperature increases, Resistance decreases, electric current level decreases
