ABSTRACT

Selective dorsal neurotomy (SDN) is a surgical treatment for primary premature ejaculation (PE), but there is still no standard surgical procedure for selecting the branches of the dorsal penile nerves to be removed. We performed this study to explore the value of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring (IONM) of the penile sensory-evoked potential (PSEP) for standard surgical procedures in SDN. One hundred and twenty primary PE patients undergoing SDN were selected as the PE group and 120 non-PE patients were selected as the normal group. The PSEP was monitored and compared between the two groups under both natural and general anesthesia (GA) states. In addition, patients in the PE group were randomly divided into the IONM group and the non-IONM group. During SDN surgery, PSEP parameters of the IONM group were recorded and analyzed. The differences in PE-related outcome measurements between the perioperative period and 3 months' postoperation were compared for the PE patients, and the differences in effectiveness and complications between the IONM group and the non-IONM group were compared. The results showed that the average latency of the PSEP in the PE group was shorter than that in the normal group under both natural and GA states (P < 0.001). Three months after surgery, the significant effective rates in the IONM and non-IONM groups were 63.6% and 34.0%, respectively (P < 0.01), and the difference in complications between the two groups was significant (P < 0.05). IONM might be useful in improving the short-term therapeutic effectiveness and reducing the complications of SDN.

ABSTRACT

The active ingredient of traditional Chinese medicine, silybin (SBN), can inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells and enhance the anticancer effect of doxorubicin (DOX). However, due to non-targeting and short half-life of SBN and DOX, as well as different administration routes and pharmacokinetic processes, this combination drug cannot act on the tumor in the set order, seriously eliminating the synergistic effect between them and limiting the effect in vivo. Therefore, we intended to construct a nano-delivery system based on molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), modified by polyethylene glycol (PEG) and sialic acid (SA), and co-loaded with SBN and DOX. The system induced the release of combined drugs under the dual-stimulation of pH and near infra-red (NIR), increased the free concentration of intracellular drugs, so as to achieve the synergistic effect between them. The animal welfare and experimental procedures were in accordance with the regulations of the Animal Ethics Committee of Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. MoS2-PEG-SA-SBN/DOX circulated in vivo, and effectively accumulated at tumor sites through enhanced permeability and retention effect (EPR) and SA-mediated active targeting. Under near infrared light irradiation, MoS2-PEG-SA-SBN/DOX realized the combination of synergistic chemotherapy and photothermal therapy for tumor, thus achieving excellent anti-tumor effect in vivo. This study can provide a new idea and strategy for the clinical treatment of lung cancer. Taken together, MoS2-PEG-SA-SBN/DOX can offer a new idea and strategy for the clinical treatment of lung cancer.

ABSTRACT

Experimental autoimmune prostatitis (EAP)-induced persistent inflammatory immune response can significantly upregulate the expression of N-methyl-D-aspartic acid (NMDA) receptors in the paraventricular nucleus (PVN). However, the mechanism has not yet been elucidated. Herein, we screened out the target prostate-derived inflammation cytokines (PDICs) by comparing the inflammatory cytokine levels in peripheral blood and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) between EAP rats and their controls. After identifying the target PDIC, qualified males in initial copulatory behavior testing (CBT) were subjected to implanting tubes onto bilateral PVN. Next, they were randomly divided into four subgroups (EAP-1, EAP-2, Control-1, and Control-2). After 1-week recovery, EAP-1 rats were microinjected with the target PDIC inhibitor, Control-1 rats were microinjected with the target PDIC, while the EAP-2 and Control-2 subgroups were only treated with the same amount of artificial CSF (aCSF). Results showed that only interleukin-1β(IL-1β) had significantly increased mRNA-expression in the prostate of EAP rats compared to the controls (P < 0.001) and significantly higher protein concentrations in both the serum (P = 0.001) and CSF (P < 0.001) of the EAP groups compared to the Control groups. Therefore, IL-1β was identified as the target PDIC which crosses the blood-brain barrier, thereby influencing the central nervous system. Moreover, the EAP-1 subgroup displayed a gradually prolonged ejaculation latency (EL) in the last three CBTs (all P < 0.01) and a significantly lower expression of NMDA NR1 subunit in the PVN (P = 0.043) compared to the respective control groups after a 10-day central administration of IL-1β inhibitors. However, the Control-1 subgroup showed a gradually shortened EL (P < 0.01) and a significantly higher NR1 expression (P = 0.004) after homochronous IL-1β administration. Therefore, we identified IL-1β as the primary PDIC which shortens EL in EAP rats. However, further studies should be conducted to elucidate the specific molecular mechanisms through which IL-1β upregulates NMDA expression.

ABSTRACT

To analyze the clinical characteristics of cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia and a preliminary study to explore the relationship between different clinical classification and liver damage. Consecutively confirmed novel coronavirus infection cases admitted to seven designated hospitals during January 23, 2020 to February 8, 2020 were included. Clinical classification (mild, moderate, severe, and critical) was carried out according to the diagnosis and treatment program of novel coronavirus pneumonia (Trial Fifth Edition) issued by the National Health Commission. The research data were analyzed using SPSS19.0 statistical software. Quantitative data were expressed as median (interquartile range), and qualitative data were expressed as frequency and rate. 32 confirmed cases that met the inclusion criteria were included. 28 cases were of mild or moderate type (87.50%), and four cases (12.50%) of severe or critical type. Four cases (12.5%) were combined with one underlying disease (bronchial asthma, coronary heart disease, malignant tumor, chronic kidney disease), and one case (3.13%) was simultaneously combined with high blood pressure and malignant tumor. The results of laboratory examination showed that the alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), albumin (ALB), and total bilirubin (TBil) for entire cohort were 26.98 (16.88 ~ 46.09) U/L and 24.75 (18.71 ~ 31.79) U/L, 39.00 (36.20 ~ 44.20) g/L and 16.40 (11.34- ~ 21.15) mmol/L, respectively. ALT, AST, ALB and TBil of the mild or moderate subgroups were 22.75 (16.31- ~ 37.25) U/L, 23.63 (18.71 ~ 26.50) U/L, 39.70 (36.50 ~ 46.10) g/L, and 15.95 (11.34 ~ 20.83) mmol/L, respectively. ALT, AST, ALB and TBil of the severe or critical subgroups were 60.25 (40.88 ~ 68.90) U/L, 37.00 (20.88 ~ 64.45) U/L, 35.75 (28.68 ~ 42.00) g/L, and 20.50 (11.28 ~ 25.00) mmol/L, respectively. The results of this multicenter retrospective study suggests that novel coronavirus pneumonia combined with liver damage is more likely to be caused by adverse drug reactions and systemic inflammation in severe patients receiving medical treatment. Therefore, liver function monitoring and evaluation should be strengthened during the treatment of such patients.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate characteristic CT manifestations of primary pulmonary diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).Methods:CT images of 14 patients [10 males and 4 females, age (54±2) years old, range 32 to 91] with pathologically-proved pulmonary DLBCL lymphoma were retrospectively analyzed.Plain CT and contrast enhanced CT imaging were performed in all 14 patients. Image characteristics including lesion size, locations and distribution, morphology and margin, density and enhancement degrees, bronchia and lesion surroundings, other thoracic extra-pulmonary manifestations, as well as distant metastasis were analyzed and recorded. The maximal diameter of mass and/or nodules, pre and post-contrast CT values were measured. Among all 14 cases, 8 cases were initially diagnosed as lung carcinoma, 5 cases as infection, one case as lymphoma.Results:Among all 14 primary lung DLBCL cases, there were 10 case with multiple lesions and 4 with single lesion. Masses and/or nodules were found in 12 cases, with the maximum diameter of the lesions as 0.8-8.2 cm, the median value as 5.3 (2.9, 7.8) cm. Two cases showed simple consolidation. The margins of the lesions were clear and smooth in 12 cases, and fuzzy in 2 cases. The density of the lesions on pre-contrast CT was relatively uniform, with mean CT value (35.1±1.0) HU. After contrast, 10 cases displayed mild to moderate homogeneous enhancement, 4 cases showed heterogenous enhancement. The mean CT value of post-contrast images was (61.8±1.5) HU. In arterial phase, the mean CT value was (50.9±1.3) HU. Angiographic sign was found in 9 cases in arterial phase. Of the 14 cases, bronchus was clear and smooth in 5 cases. In 4 cases, bronchus was found slight compressed or stenosis; and 5 cases showed intra-lesion bronchi invasion or occlusion. Interstitial tissue around the lesion was found slightly thickened in 8 cases. The pleura showed unevenly thickened and invaded in 8 cases. Mediastinal or hilar lymphadenopathy and fusion were found in 10 cases, with 3 cases involving mediastinal large blood vessels, and 7 cases displaying infiltrative growth pattern. There were 4 cases with pleural effusion. CT follow-up after treatment in 8 cases showed no distant metastasis (7 cases showed good prognosis, with lesions disappearing after radiotherapy, chemotherapy or surgical resection; 1 case showed progressed with lesion increased after chemotherapy). Six patients abandoned the treatment and discharged from the hospital.Conclusions:Primary DLBCL is a high invasive and malignant entity with certain CT characteristics. The confirmed diagnosis of pulmonary DLBCL depends on pathological results.

ABSTRACT

Objective:To explore the value of bedside chest radiograph in the diagnosis and follow-up of severe and critical COVID-19.Methods:Twenty-nine patients with severe or critical COVID-19 were collected from January 23 to February 23, 2020,from four COVID-19 designated hospitals in Guangdong Province. Bedside radiography was taken in all the 29 patients, ranged from 1 to 16 times for each patient. Twenty-seven patients underwent follow-up, and the number of re-examination ranged 1 to 15 times, and the interval of review is 1 to 8 days.The imaging findings of bedside chest radiography and the imaging changes on follow-up chest radiography were analyzed retrospectively.Results:Twenty-nine patients were collected. The radiography showed the lesions involved all more than 3 lung fields. The films showed consolidation shadow in 19 cases, multiple patches of shadow in 23 cases, reticular pattern in 12 cases, strips shadow in 14 cases, interlobar fissure thickening in 18 cases, and "white lung" in 4 cases.The complications included pleural effusion in 4 cases, pneumothorax in 2 cases, mediastinal and subcutaneous emphysema in 1 case. The radiography showed the lesions progressed in 15 cases, with expanded involvement of the lung.The increase of lesion density was found in 6 cases, new lesions were noted in 5 cases, while both of them were found in 4 cases. Nine cases showed improvement, with reduced range and decreased density. Patchy or consolidation shadow turned to strips shadow or articular pattern shadow in 8 cases.There was no significant change in 3 cases with large consolidation shadow.Conclusions:Bedside chest radiography has a good value in the follow-up of severely and critically ill patients with COVID-19, and can provide great help for clinicians to evaluate their condition.

BACKGROUND@#The precise pathophysiology of venous erectile dysfunction (VED) was still unclear. Dynamic infusion cavernosometry and cavernosography (DICC) was the gold standard approach for the diagnoses of VED. However, a standard operative procedure of DICC was needed and it was unclear whether DICC could show promise in accurate assessment and treatment of VED. The aim of this study was to establish an optimized operation process of DICC and evaluate the efficacy of DICC in the diagnoses and therapy of VED.@*METHODS@#One hundred and forty-seven VED patients identified by the color doppler duplex ultrasonography (CDDU) were included. Then the method of DICC was adopted to assess the severity of VED and all patients were divided into 4 groups, including (1) non-VED; (2) mild VED; (3) moderate VED and (4) severe VED. All patients received the treatment of psychotherapy. Drug therapy, the intervention embolism of corpus cavernosum and the implantation of penile prosthesis were applied if psychotherapy was ineffective for patients. The international index of erectile function (IIEF-5) scores of patients were collected and compared before and after treatment.@*RESULTS@#IIEF-5 score of non-VED group after psychotherapy (19.35 ± 3.59) and drug therapy (23.31 ± 0.75) was higher than that before psychotherapy (15.30 ± 2.72, t = -4.31, P  0.05). IIEF-5 score of severe VED group was increased under the treatment of implantation of penile prosthesis (23.25 ± 0.71) compared with that before treatment (8.00 ± 0.39, t = -53.25, P < 0.05).@*CONCLUSION@#DICC was a valid diagnostic tool that could identify patients with VED. And DICC had great effect on the diagnosis and individual therapy for patients with VED in varying degrees. Moreover, the manipulation of DICC needed uniform standards.

ABSTRACT

Previous studies have found that penile erection is not only dependent on the peripheral nervous and vascular systems, but also controlled by the central nervous system. Some brain regions are responsible for promoting and suppressing penile erection, respectively. Studies on the brain functions showed both activation and inactivation of the brain regions when receiving sexual stimulation, and those on the brain structure of ED patients revealed atrophy of the gray matter structure and abnormal connection of the white matter fibers. In addition, abnormal connections within emotional, cognitive and default and salience networks were found in patients with psychogenic ED. This article reviews the brain MRI-based studies on the central neurophysiological mechanisms of penile erection, aiming to gain a deeper insight into human neurophysiological mechanisms of the neural circuits controlling erectile function.

ABSTRACT

Erectile dysfunction (ED) associated with type 2 diabetes is a severe problem that requires effective treatment. Pancreatic kininogenase (PK) has the potential to improve the erectile function of ED patients. This study aims to investigate the effect of PK on erectile function in streptozotocin-induced type 2 diabetic ED rats. To achieve this goal, we divided male Sprague-Dawley rats into five groups. One group was not treated, and the other four groups were treated with saline, sildenafil, PK or sildenafil, and PK, respectively, for 4 weeks after the induction of type 2 diabetic ED. Then, intracavernous pressure under cavernous nerve stimulation was measured, and penile tissue was collected for further study. Endothelial nitric oxide synthase levels, smooth muscle content, endothelium content, cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) levels in the corpus cavernosum, and neuronal nitric oxide synthase levels in the dorsal penile nerve were measured. Improved erectile function and endothelium and smooth muscle content in the corpus cavernosum were observed in diabetic ED rats. When treating diabetic ED rats with PK and sildenafil at the same time, a better therapeutic effect was achieved. These data demonstrate that intraperitoneal injection of PK can improve erectile function in a rat model of type 2 diabetic ED. With further research on specific mechanisms of erectile function improvement, PK may become a novel treatment for diabetic ED.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effect of hypertonic saline on the expressions of aquaporin 4 (AQP4) and caspase-3 in the brain edema area after traumatic brain injury (TBI) in rats Methods Seventy-two male SD rats weighing 220-250 g were selected and randomly divided into three groups (24 rats per group):sham operation group (Group A),traumatic brain injury + normal saline group (Group B) and traumatic brain injury + hypertonic saline group (Group C).Moderate TBI model was induced by Feeney's free falling method.Normal saline and hypertonic saline were delivered respectively.The neurological score was measured at 6,24,and 48 hours after operation.The brain water content was measured,and the blood brain barrier stability was detected by Evans blue staining.AQP4 positive cells was detected by immunohistochemistry.The expressions of AQP4 and caspase-3 protein in brain tissue were detected by Western blot,and the apoptosis of neurons in brain tissue by TUNEL method.Results Compared with Group A,the neurological score of Group B were obviously decreased,while the water content in the brain tissue,Evans blue staining,AQP4 positive cells,AQP4 (6 hours:1.73 ±0.31 vs.0.33 ±0.13;24 hours:2.47 ±0.27 vs.0.33 ±0.14;48 hours:2.18 ± 0.19 vs.0.33 ±0.12),caspase-3 protein expression(6 hours:0.53 ±0.18 vs.0.34 ±0.07;24 hours:0.58 ±0.16 vs.0.33 ± 0.08;48 hours:0.59 ± 0.11 vs.0.33 ± 0.07) and apoptosis index in brain tissue in Group B were significantly increased (all P < 0.05).Compared with Group B,the neurological score of Group C were obviously increased,while the water content in the brain tissue,Evans blue staining,AQP4 positive cells,AQP4 (6 hours:1.51 ±0.27 vs.1.73 ±0.31;24 hours:2.13 ±0.13 vs.2.47±0.27;48 hours:1.84 ±0.22 vs.2.18 ±0.19) and Caspase-3 protein expression (6 hours:0.44±0.09vs.0.53±0.18;24 hours:0.46±0.10vs.0.58±0.16;48 hours:0.48±0.12 vs.0.59 ± 0.11) and apoptosis index in brain tissue of Group C were significantly decreased (all P < 0.05).Conclusion Hypertonic saline can attenuate TBI-induced brain edema and have a significant neuroprotective effect,possibly by down-regulating the expressions of AQP4 and caspase-3.

Objective@#To investigate the effect and safety of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS) in the diagnosis of venous erectile dysfunction (VED).@*METHODS@#From June 2015 to March 2016, 43 ED patients underwent corpus cavernography, of whom 23 were diagnosed with and the other 20 without corpus cavernosal venous leakage (CCVL). All the patients received intracorporal injection of a vasoactive drug and CEUS.@*RESULTS@#Of the 23 patients with CCVL, 21 were confirmed by CEUS, including 12 cases of double venous leakage, 2 cases of single venous leakage, 5 cases of crural venous leakage, and 2 cases of the mixed type, while the other 2 showed no CCVL on CEUS. Of the 20 patients with CCVL, 2 presented CCVL on CEUS.@*CONCLUSIONS@#CEUS has the advantages of accuracy, safety, and less invasiveness in the diagnosis of VED.

Objective@#To explore the topological properties of the degree and strength of nodes in the binary and weighted brain white matter networks of the patients with psychogenic erectile dysfunction (pED) and analyze the changes of myelin integrity, number and length of the white matter fibers in the topological space.@*METHODS@#Diffusion tensor imaging data were obtained from 21 patients with pED and 24 healthy controls matched in sex, age, and years of education and subjected to preprocessing. The whole cerebral cortex was divided into 90 regions, followed by fiber tracking, construction of the binary and weighted white matter networks, and calculation of the node degrees and connectivity strengths in different brain regions. The property values were compared between the two groups using the two-sample t-test, the results were corrected by multiple testing correction, and the correlation of the property values with the erectile function of the patients was subjected to Pearson's correlation analysis.@*RESULTS@#Compared with the healthy controls, the pED patients showed significantly decreased node degree of the left triangular part of inferior frontal gyrus (IFG) (7.54±1.44 vs 5.95±1.28, t = -3.88, corrected P = 0.02), medial orbital part of superior frontal gyrus (SFG) (10.08±3.60 vs 6.29±3.30, t = -3.67, corrected P = 0.02), and amygdala (6.50±2.11 vs 4.29±1.31, t = -4.16, corrected P = 0.01) in the binary networks, as well as the connectivity strength of the left triangular part of IFG (2.50±0.68 vs 1.72±0.50, t = -4.35, corrected P = 0.01), medial orbital part of SFG (3.17±0.97 vs 2.08±1.10, t = -3.53, corrected P = 0.03), and amygdala (1.80±0.69 vs 1.11±0.39, t = -4.03, corrected P = 0.01) in the fractional anisotropy (FA) weighted networks. The node degree of the left amygdala was negatively correlated with the total score (r = -0.47,P = 0.04), second item score (r = -0.46, P = 0.03), and third item score of IIEF-5 (r = -0.45, P = 0.04) in the pED patients.@*CONCLUSIONS@#The myelin integrity of the white matter fibers in the left frontal lobe and amygdale is impaired in pED patients, which leads to the aberrant generation, processing and regulation of their emotions. The decreased pivotal role and importance of the white matter fibers connecting the left amygdale may be associated with pED.

ABSTRACT

<p><b>BACKGROUND</b>Most previous neuroimaging studies have focused on the structural and functional abnormalities of local brain regions in major depressive disorder (MDD). Moreover, the exactly topological organization of networks underlying MDD remains unclear. This study examined the aberrant global and regional topological patterns of the brain white matter networks in MDD patients.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>The diffusion tensor imaging data were obtained from 27 patients with MDD and 40 healthy controls. The brain fractional anisotropy-weighted structural networks were constructed, and the global network and regional nodal metrics of the networks were explored by the complex network theory.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>Compared with the healthy controls, the brain structural network of MDD patients showed an intact small-world topology, but significantly abnormal global network topological organization and regional nodal characteristic of the network in MDD were found. Our findings also indicated that the brain structural networks in MDD patients become a less strongly integrated network with a reduced central role of some key brain regions.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>All these resulted in a less optimal topological organization of networks underlying MDD patients, including an impaired capability of local information processing, reduced centrality of some brain regions and limited capacity to integrate information across different regions. Thus, these global network and regional node-level aberrations might contribute to understanding the pathogenesis of MDD from the view of the brain network.</p>

ABSTRACT

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical feasibility of low dose MSCT for quantitative assessment of pulmonary function in smokers.MethodsOne hundred and forty-six patients with chronic objective pulmonary disease ( COPD ) including 109 smokers ( 74.6% ) and 37 non-smokers ( 25.3% )underwent pulmonary function test and low-dose MSCT scan.All data were analyzed using computer-aided lung anlysis software.Pulmonary function parameters from low-dose MSCT were compared between smokers and non-smokers and also compared with pulmonary function test in non-smokers ( Pearson test).Results In smokers,the average volume at full inspiratory phase (Vin) was (5125 ± 862 ) ml,mean lung attenuation was ( - 902 ± 26 ) HU,mean lung density was (0.0984 ± 0.0260 ) g/cm3,emphysema volume was (2890 ±1370) ml.The average volume at full expiratory phase (Vex) was (2756 ±1027) ml,mean lung attenuation was ( -811 ±62) HU,mean lung density was (0.1878 ±0.0631 ) g/cm3,emphysema volume was (685 ±104) ml.In non-smokers,the average Vin was (3734 ± 759) ml,mean lung attenuation was ( -876 ±40) HU,mean lung density was (0.1244 ±0.0401 )g/cm3,emphysema volume was ( 1503 ± 1217) ml.The average Vex was ( 1770 ± 679 ) ml,mean lung attenuation was ( - 765 ± 56 ) HU,mean lung density was (0.2360 ± 0.0563 ) g/cm3,emphysema volume was ( 156 ± 45 ) ml.There were significant differences between smokers and non-smokers (P <0.01 ).The Vex/Vin was correlated with residual volume/total lung capacity ( RV/TLC,r =0.60,P<0.01 ),and Vin was correlated with TLC ( r =0.58,P < 0.01 ),Vex with RV ( r =0.59,P<0.01 ).Pixel index ( PI ) -950in was correlated with FEV 1% pre and FEV1/FVC% ( r =- 0.53,- 0.62,respective,P < 0.01 ),Pl-950ex was correlated with FEV1 % pre and FEV1/FVC% ( r =-0.71,-0.77,respective,P<0.0l).ConclusionLow-dose MSCT can be a potential imaging tool for quantitative pulmonary function assessment in smokes.

ABSTRACT

Laparoscopic curative gastrectomy has been widely adopted because it is minimal invasiveness.The efficacy of laparoscopic gastrectomy is comparable to that of open gastrectomy for patients with early or advanced gastric cancer,but few studies of laparoscopic total gastrectomy combined with distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy for patients with advanced gastric cancer have been reported.Seven patients with advanced gastric cancer received laparoscopic total gastrectomy combined with distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy at the First Hospital of Jilin University from September 2010 to September 2011.The mean operation time,blood loss,postoperative hospital stay and the nunber of lymph nodes resected were (218 ± 24) minutes,(366 ± 174) ml,( 14.6 ± 2.8 ) days and 32 ± 15,respectively.Two patients were complicated by pancreatic juice leakage and were cured with drainage. No anastomotic leakage,abdominal bleeding or mortality was observed. With the development of techniques and equipments,laparoscopic total gastrectony combined with distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy is safe and feasible in selected patients.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the relevance of MSCT pulmonary function parameters and pulmonary function test (PFT) parameters, and to define the reference value of MSCT pulmonary function parameters. Methods Thirty male volunteers received clinical PFT and MSCT scan. MSCT scan was perfomed at the end of the maximum inspiratory and maximum expiratory. All data were analyzed with the lung analysis software of computer-aided inspection system correlatedly with pulmonary function parameters. Results The lung volume at full inspiratory volume (Vin) and full expiratory volume (Vex) in MSCT scan had good correlation with total lung capacity (TLC) and residual volume (RV) (r=0.90, P<0.01; r=0.74, P<0.01). Vex/Vin was correlated with RV/TLC (r=0.74, P<0.01), and Vin-Vex was correlated with MVC (r=0.85, P<0.01). In inspiration, the average lung density was (-879.51±32.82) HU, the density per unit volume was (0.12±0.03) g/cm3, while in expiratory they were (-688.14±62.38) HU and (0.31±0.06) g/cm3. Conclusion MSCT pulmonary function tests with the analysis software of computer-aided inspection system have good correlation with PFT.

ABSTRACT

Huangqi powder injection's positive rate of skin-test was 12.3%. Qingkailing powder injection was 3.0%. Qingkailing injection was 7.6%. Shuanghuanglian injection was 6.3%. Penicillin's rate of allergic reactions was 0.7%-10%. Different form of a drug (power or injection) and different drug consistency could influence the positive rate of skin-test. We don't use drug in positive group, and we use drug in negative group. Some trial subjects still happened allergic reactions in negative group of skin-test. In negative group of skin-test, Huangqi power injection's rate of allergic reactions was 2.1%. Qingkailing injection was 0.4%. Shuanghuanglian injection was 0.9%-2.6%. Shuanghuanglian injection's rate of allergic reactions was 8.6% in all subjects (31/360 include the subjects with positive skin-test and allergic reactions). Qingkailing powder injection's rate of allergic reactions was 4.5% (6/132). Qingkailing injection' s rate of allergic reactions was 9.1% (12/132). Huangqi power injection's rate of allergic reactions was 15.4% (62/402). The total rate of allergic reactions was 10.8%. The main appearance of Penicillin's skin-test was welling under skin, and with some blush. But the main appearance of traditional Chinese medicine skin-test was blush, and with a little welling under skin. Skin-test can reduce the allergic reactions of Qingkailing powder injection, Shuanghuangiian injection, Huangqi power injection. It can be the one measure of reducing adverse reactions.
