ABSTRACT
The synthesis of different 4-chlorocinnamoylamino acids and the corresponding amino acid methyl esters, amino acid hydrazides, dipeptide methyl esters and dipeptide hydrazides [II-XXXVI] are described. Some of the synthesized compounds were found to possess antimicrobial activities towards different microorganisms

The synthesis of some 3-[N-tosyl- and N-phthaloylaminoacyl]amino-1, 2, 4-triazines [II-XIV] was described. Coupling of N-tosyl-or N- phthaloylamino acids with 3-amino-1, 2, 4-triazine using dicyclohexylcarbodiimide furnished the desired derivatives [II-XIV]. Hydrazinolysis of 3-[N-phthaloyl-Gly] aminotriazine [IX] in ethanol afforded the free amino-compound 3-[Gly] aminotriazine [XV]. Compounds XVI-XX were obtained under similar conditions. The different 3-[N-Tos-di- and tripeptidyl]aminotriazines XXI-XXVI were obtained via the azide method. Some of the prepared compounds were found to be active against a number of microorganisms

Synthesis of some new 2-[N-phthaloyl-or N-tosylaminoacyl or free aminoacyl or N-phthaloyldipeptidyl or N-tosyldipeptidyl] amino-4, 6- dichloropyrimidines [III-XXI] and the corresponding derivatives of 5- bromopyrimidines [XXII-XL] was described. Some products were found to be active against a number of microorganisms
