ABSTRACT

Objective To understand the distribution of novel coronaviruses in the external environment of confirmed COVID-19 cases. Methods Environmental surface swab specimens such as bed rails, doorknob, closestool, hand washing sink, table, locker, ward pager, mobile phone, cup, clothes, were collected from the sentinel hospital of COVID-19, and samples were collected for the nucleic acid detection by RT-PCR. Results A total of 150 environmental samples were collected from 30 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 6 samples were determined to be novel coronaviruses postive (positive rate 4.00%). The total 14 mobile phone showed 3 novel coronaviruses positive.Among the 30 confirmed COVID-19 cases, 6 cases (positive rate 20.00%)were found novel coronaviruses in the external environment. Conclusions Novel coronaviruses exists in external environment of confirmed COVID-19 cases, which indicates the potential risk of COVID-19 infection.

ABSTRACT

Objective To analyze on the efficacy and toxicity of MAAE (MIT ,Ara-C,AMSA,VP16)regimens on treating refractory and relapsed acute leukemia in adult patients. Methods MAAE (MIT, Ara-C,AMSA, VP16) regimen, which consisted of MIT 10mg/d (d1~3), intravenousdrop, Ara-C 200mg/d (d1~7),intravenousdrop, AMSA 75 mg/d (d1~3), intravenousdrop VP16 100 mg/d(d1~4), intravenousdrop were used to treat 25 cases of adults with refractory and relapsed acute leukemia (AL). G-CSF 5 μg/kg were used every day when WBC<0.5×109/L. Results In the 25 cases with refractory and relapsed acute leukemia, 14 cases (56 %) reached complete remission, 5 patients(20 %) reached partial remission, the total effective rate was 76 %. Conclusion MAAE regimen was a very effective alternative treatment for CR induction in adult patients with refractory and relapsed AL and low toxicity.

ABSTRACT

Objective To explore the mechanism of VEGF treating cerebral ischemia. Methods A rat model of middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) was set up by nylon suture embolization. The naked plasmid DNA encoding vascular endothelial growth factor(pUCCAGGS/hVEGF 165 ) was directly injected through skull into the ischemic areas of brain. After seven days the rats were killed. RT-PCR was used to measure the expression of VEGF mRNA in the brain tissues, and immunohistochemistry was appllied to detect the expression of VEGF, Fas and Fas L in the brain tissues. Results Compared with control group, VEGF expression significantly increased in the therapeutic group(P

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of recombinant human granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(rhG-CSF) combined with antifungal drugs in the treatment of malignant hematologial diseases with fungus infection.METHODS Malignant hematologial patients with fungus infection were randomized to receive fluconazole with or without rhG-CSF.(RESULTS) The response rate in patients who received fluconazole combined with rhG-CSF was 89.1% and in(control) patients was 62.8%(P
