Caracterización de algunos aspectos de la reunión de preparación metodológica en la asignatura Morfofisiopatología Humana I / Characterization of some aspects of the methodological preparation meeting in Human Morphophysiopathology I subject

Objetivo: caracterizar algunos aspectos de la reunión metodológica en la asignatura de Morfofisiopatología Humana I (MFPHI). Métodos: investigación descriptiva en el marco de la educación médica, en el área de Salud Integral Comunitaria "Dr. Leonidas Ramos", Guanare, Estado Portuguesa, Venezuela. Se aplicó un cuestionario a 15 profesores, se entrevistó a 3 informantes clave y se observaron 7 reuniones de preparación metodológica. Se hizo revisión documental y bibliográfica. Resultados: el 100 % de los profesores respondió que siempre en las reuniones de preparación metodológica de la asignatura de MFPHI, se analizaba el cumplimiento y planificación de las actividades docentes de la semana anterior y próxima semana, también el cumplimiento del plan calendario, los resultados de las evaluaciones de los estudiantes, la disciplina y la autopreparación profesoral. Conclusiones: se identificaron aspectos positivos y algunas insuficiencias en las reuniones de preparación metodológica de la asignatura de Morfofisiopatología Humana I.

Objective: to characterize some aspects of the methodological meeting for Human Morphophysiology subject. Methods: descriptive research in the field of medical education carried out in "Dr Leonidas Ramos" comprehensive community health area in Guarare, Portuguesa state, Venezuela. Fifteen professors were asked to answer a questionnaire, three key informants were interviewed and seven methodological preparation meetings were monitored. A documentary and literature review was made. Results: all the professors answered that this type of meeting always analyzed the carrying out and planning of the teaching activities of the previous week and the following week as well as the fulfillment of the calendar schedule, the results of the evaluations of students, discipline and professor's self-preparation. Conclusions: positive and negative aspects of the methodological preparation meetings in Human Morphophysiology I subject were identified.

Breve historia de la formación de recursos humanos / Brief history of the formation of human resources

Se realizó una investigación de carácter histórico cuyo objetivo fue relatar el desarrollo del proceso de formación y superación de los colaboradores cubanos en la misión y del Nuevo Programa de Formación de los médicos integrales comunitarios en Portuguesa, estado llanero de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela en el marco de Misión Médica cubana. Se utilizaron métodos como el análisis y síntesis de la literatura consultada, histórico-lógico y genético así como la entrevista y la revisión de documentos e informes estadísticos. Se relata cómo y cuándo comenzó la docencia para los colaboradores cubanos, destacándose, en el posgrado, la formación de especialistas de MGI, EGI tanto cubanos como venezolanos así como la formación de másteres. En el pregrado se destacó la formación de médicos para el fortalecimiento de la salud pública en Venezuela, el nacimiento del Programa Nacional de Formación en Medicina Integral Comunitaria, en 2011 se graduó la primera cohorte con 311 nuevos profesionales que brindan servicio en el sistema público de esa nación.

A historical research study was conducted to present the development of the process of formation and upgrading of Cuban cooperators in the Cuban Medical Mission and of the New Program for the Formation of Community-based Integral Physicians in Portuguesa state of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The methods used in the study were analysis and summarizing of consulted literature, historical-logical and genetic analysis as well as interviews and reviews of documents and statistical reports. The study set forth how and when teaching activity started for the Cuban cooperators, making emphasis on the post-graduate education, the formation of General Integral Medicine specialists both Cubans and Venezuelans and the formation of Masters . In the undergraduate education, the study underlined the formation of physicians for the strengthening of the public health in Venezuela and the inception of the national program of community-based integral medicine formation from which the first cohort of 311 new professionals graduated in 2011, who render service in the public health system of that nation.

Introducción: la necesidad actual de una adecuada preparación metodológica de los profesores para lograr dirigir el proceso enseñanza aprendizaje, con un enfoque integral y sistémico, sobre la base de los fundamentos teóricos y metodológicos de la didáctica, se debe corresponder con las tendencias actuales y las necesidades de la educación médica, elementos que se comienzan a desarrollar desde la reuniones metodológicas. Objetivo: caracterizar algunos aspectos de la reunión metodológica en la asignatura de Morfofisiopatología Humana I (MFPHI). Introduction: The current need for adequate methodological training of teachers to achieve direct the teaching-learning process, with a comprehensive and systemic approach, based on the theoretical and methodological foundations of teaching, must correspond with current trends and needs of medical education, elements begin to develop from the methodological meetings. Objective: to characterize some aspects of the methodological meeting for Human Morphophysiology I subject. Methods: descriptive research study on medical education in the community health area called Dr Leonidas Ramos in Guanare, Portuguesa state, Venezuela. Fifteen professors answered a questionnaire, 3 key informants were interviewed and 7 methodological meetings were supervised. A documentary and literature review was also made. Results: all the professors stated that in the methodological meetings of Human Morphophysiology I subject, the participants always analyzed the fulfillment and planning of the teaching activities carried out the week before and those that would be performed the following week, in addition to the compliance with the calendar program, the results of the evaluations of students, the general discipline and the professor's self-preparation. Conclusion: some positive aspects and deficiencies were identified in the methodological meetings of Human Morphophysiopathology I subject.
