ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the application and control of failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) in the risk management of food and drug inspection institutions. METHODS: A 25-people team was set up and the factors related to equipments in the management review report and external review were analyzed through brainstorming and expert consultation. Thirty-four large risk factors were idendified. RESULTS: The top five risk factors in respect to risk priority number(RPN) value were as follows equipment not undergoing period verification, lack of experience, communication risk between inspection department and equipment management department, daily use and maintenance not meeting the requirements, inadequate consciousness of equipment management. CONCLUSION: The application of FMEA can identify and deal with the failure mode in the process of equipment management and timely detect high risk projects in the equipment management to achieve better control of quality of laboratories.

ABSTRACT

Aim To study the relationship between apolipoprotein A-Ⅱ (APOA-Ⅱ) and adriamycin re-sistance. Methods The drug sensitivity of cells was analyzed by IC50assay. The localizations of ADM in MCF7/W,MCF7/ADM and APOA-Ⅱ transgenic cells were observed by laser scanning confocal microscopy. RT-PCR and Western blot were applied to detect the gene and protein expression in MCF7/W and MCF7/ADM cells, respectively. The APOA-Ⅱ transgenic HEK293 cells were analyzed by IC50assay,the IC50of breat cancer cells T470 and MDA-MB231 were ana-lysed as well. Results Compared with MCF7/W cells, the resistance index of MCF7/ADM cells got 13. 0 (P<0.05). ADM localized mainly in the nuclei of MCF7/W cells, but none in the nuclei of MCF7/ADM cells. Meanwhile, the localization of ADM in APOA-Ⅱtransgenic MCF7/W cells was obviously less than that in normal parent MCF7/W cells. The gene and protein expression levels of APOA-Ⅱ in MCF7/ADM cells were both higher than in MCF7/W cells (P<0.05);the sensitivity of APOA-Ⅱtransgenic HEK293 to ADM was also reduced (P<0.05). Furthermore, the sensi-tivity of breast cancer cells T47D and MDA-MB231 to ADM was reduced as well (P<0.05). Conclusion APOA-Ⅱ is found to be positively related to ADM re-sistance,which would provide instruction for the clini-cal usage of ADM.

ABSTRACT

To discuss the effective method of decreasing the postoperative recurrence rate of recurrent pterygium. ●METHODS:Totally 126 cases (126 eyes) with recurrent pterygium were randomly divided into A group (56 cases) and B group ( 70 cases ). Group A was treated by pterygium conjunctive reverse transplantation combined with amniotic membrane transplantation, group B was treated by amniotic membrane transplantation. The followed-up time after surgery was 6-24mo. ●RESULTS:ln group A, postoperative 5-7d (average 5. 62± 1. 38d), cornea epithelium was repaired. ln group B, postoperative 7- 10d ( average 7. 38 ± 1. 12d), the corneal wound was healed. There was statistical significant difference between two groups (t = 4. 307,P ●CONCLUSlON: lt is suggested that pterygium conjunctive reverse transplantation combined with amniotic membrane transplantation is effective in the treatment of recurrent pterygium.
