ABSTRACT

Hereditary spherocytosis, or Minkowski-Chauffard disease, is a constitutional anomaly of red blood cell that loses its elasticity and becomes brittle to mechanical stress, thus promoting its early destruction and causing an hemolytic anemia. This observation is about a 40-year-old patient hospitalized for acute renal failure revealing an hereditary spherocytosis

ABSTRACT

The bottled water market in Morocco is experiencing a steady and continuous growth in recent years. We classified packaged water in Morocco to their sources and the treatment in natural mineral water, spring water and table water. We present summary tables to compare these waters according to their ionic composition and dry residue at 180 [degree sign]. These elements have a direct impact on the choice of bottled water in certain physiological and pathological situations. The Moroccan market has several bottled waters with various electrolyte compositions. This composition guides the nephrologist in the choice of water in the event of urinary stones, high blood pressure and physical exertion. Tap water or drinking water retains its interest in the various situations where the amount of water is more important than its composition
