ABSTRACT

The rules of acupoint selection of acupuncture for dry eye in recent 10 years were summarized to provide reference for clinical treatment. The clinical researches regarding acupuncture for dry eye published from May 5, 2007 to December 1, 2017 were searched in CNKI, WANFANG and VIP database. The acupoint and meridian used and application frequency were analyzed to summarize the rules of acupoint selection. Totally, 52 related clinical papers were collected, involving 60 acupoints, 14 meridians and 5 extra point. The total frequency of acupoints was 541, which were mainly related with the bladder meridian, stomach meridian and gallbladder meridian. In conclusion, the rules of acupoint selection of acupuncture for dry eye highlighted meridians circulation, acupoint combination, and syndrome differentiation.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the chemical constituents from the roots of Aruncus sylvester. Methods The compounds were separated and purified by D101 macroporous resin, silica gel and ODS column chromatography. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR, HR-ESI-MS and ECD spectrum. Results Two new monoterpene glucosides were isolated from A. sylvester, and identified as (2E,4S,5R)-4-hydroxy-3-[2-(β-D-glucopyranosyloxy)ethylidene]- 5-(2-methylprop-1-en-1-yl) dihydrofuran-2(3H)-one (1) and (2Z,4S,5R)-4-hydroxy-3-[2-(β-D-glucopyranosyloxy) ethylidene]-5- (2-methylprop-1-en-1-yl) dihydrofuran-2 (3H)-one (2). Conclusion Compounds 1 and 2 are new compounds, and named as sylvesteroside A and sylvesteroside B, respectively.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To study the chemical constituents from the rhizomes of Sinacalia tangutica. Methods: The compounds were separated and purified by D101 macroporous resin, silica gel, and ODS column chromatography. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods including 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, DEPT, HSQC, HMBC, and HR-ESI-MS. Results: One new phenolic glycoside was isolated from S. tangutica, and identified as 5-hydroxyeugenol-4-O-β-D-xylopyranosyl-(1→6)-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (1). Conclusion: Compound 1 is a new compound named singuticoside.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the effect of short-term global health training on tropical diseases in China,so as to provide the reference in professional trainings. Methods The study took the short-term global health training project on tropical diseases in China as an example. The structured questionnaires were distributed to each trainee pre-and post-training course. Results A total of 89 trainees were included in the survey, and 68.5%(61 cases)of the trainees were older than 35 years and 85.4%(76 cases)of the trainees came from provincial institutes. The passing rate for the test of global health knowledge was sig-nificantly improved from the pre-training test(18.0%,16/89)to the post one(68.2%,58/85)(χ2=44.930,P<0.05).The knowledge of global health was closely related to the professionals'capacity,i.e.,the education level, age, professional title, and experience of international cooperation, but was not statistically related to their genders. Conclusion This kind of short-term trainings not only greatly improves the professionals'knowledge of tropical diseases control, but also is expected to play a leading role in the international cooperation of global health and tropical diseases control in the future.
