New records of medicinal plants in Hubei / 中国中药杂志

In this paper, we make a report on new records of medicinal plants in Hubei, which include one newly recorded genera and seven newly recorded species and a newly recorded variety. The newly recorded genera is Anoectochilus and its corresponding species is Anoectochilus roxburghii; These newly recorded species are Euphorbia micractina, Astragalus wulingensis, Blumea megacephala, Potentilla saundersiana, Blumea formosana, Lycoris houdyshelii and Colocasia gigantea ; The newly recorded variety is Neottia puberula var. maculata. Among these species, Anoectochilus roxburghii and N. puberula var. maculata are considered as the second-class protection in our country, A. roxburghii is regarded as Endangered（EN）and Astragalus wulingensis is regarded as Critically Endangered (CN) by IUCN. The report of these newly recorded plants borden the distribution and enrich the plant diversity of Hubei.

The study of combining high-risk human papillomavirus types checking and cytologic test in the screening of cervical lesions / 中华实验和临床病毒学杂志

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the relationship between thinprep cytologic test and the types of human papilloma virus (HPV) infection in cervical precancerous lesion screening.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>To perform high-risk HPV types test in 1375 samples. Choose 256 positive samples to take thinprep cytologic test (TCT) and directed biopsies under colposcopy. Adopting two-channels real time PCR to genotype and quantify eight high risk HPV DNA (high risk types: HPV 16, 18, 45, 31; intermediate risk types: HPV 33, 52, 58, 67).</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>There are 256 positive samples in High risk HPV DNA test (18.62%). WNL rate for TCT is 16.41% (42/256), ASCUS and above rate for TCT is 83.59% (214/256). There is no statistically significant difference in the viral loads of HPV infection rate between the TCT negative patients and positive patients (P > 0.5). Positive correspondence rate for TCT and biopsy are 92.86% (39/42), 81.36% (48/59), 85.19% (23/27) and 9/10.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>High-risk HPV types checking combined with TCT and biopsy can raise positive rate significantly. It should be used as a reliable method for early diagnosis in cervical cancer and CIN screening.</p>

Observation on cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and early cervical carcinoma / 中国基层医药

Objective To discuss the correlation between cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN) and uterine cervix cancer and the combination of TCT and colposcope for the investigation of cervical lesion.Methods 5545 patients were preliminarily screened by cervical fluid basement cell folium smear,in which 307 patients are masculine and 219 are negative,the 526 patients are suspected cervical lesions in clinical symptoms and they further underwent colposcopy and biopsy,the results were analyzed by pathohistology which is golden standard.Results CIN coherent dangerous factors analyzed by single factor Logistic regression analysis are:cervical HPV pollution,age of sexual activity,sexual partners numbers,protection of sexual life, STD history,age and frequency of miscarriage ( P < 0.05 ).The coincidence between TCT,colposeopy and pathologic diagnosis are 49.4%, 83.8% ;the omission diagnostic rate of LSIL,HSIL and CC from TCT are 63.63% ,74.44% ,100% ;the omission diagnostic rate of LSIL,HSIL and CC from colposcopy are 33.37%, 12.22% ,0;the sensitivity of TCT,colposcopy and TCT combine colposcopy for CIN are 61.2% ,84.6% ,94.5% and specificity are 85.4% ,88.2.% ,90.8%.Conclusions (1)The generation of CIN and cervical cancer are correlated with cervical HPV pollution,sexual behavior and various kinds of lower genital tract infection.(2) Fluid basement cell folium smear can promote the property of diagnosis,meet the demands of early stage uterus neck cancer and precancer lesion investigation,are suitable to be routine cheek methods in primary hospital.
