ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:To guide rational use of Heamocoagulase agkistrodon for injection, and to provide reference for phar-maceutical care. METHODS:Treatment methods and outcome of 9 cases of allergic shock induced by Heamocoagulase agkistrodon for injection were retrieved from CNKI and VIP database during 2009-2015,and then analyzed statistically, based on one case of allergic shock induced by Heamocoagulase agkistrodon for injection in the Affiliated Hospital of Zhunyi Medical College. RE-SULTS:10 pationts with allergic shock induced by Heamocoagulase agkistrodon for injection mainly used the drug for hemostasis before and after surgery, heavy menstrual bleeding, etc.,with dose of 1 or 2 U. Route of administration included intravenous injec-tion and intravenous dripping. Allergic shock often occurred within 30 min after medication. CONCLUSIONS:The use of Heamoco-agulase agkistrodon for injection in some patients belongs to off-label drug use,and route of administration is different from that stated in package inserts. Allergic shock induced by Heamocoagulase agkistrodon for injection occurs rapidly;the drug should be used strictly according to package inserts and authoritative literatures;emergency plan should be developed before medication in or-der to guarantee the safety of drug use.
ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:To investigate the regularity and characteristics of ADR induced by Mailuoning injection, and to provide reference for rational use of drugs.METHODS:In retrospective study,ADR/ADE cases of Mailuoning injection reported in Henan province from 2004 to 2009 were analyzed statistically.RESULTS:Main clinical manifestations were lesion of skin and its appendents(24.95%),respiratory system injury(23.81%) and nervous system injury(15.38%).The clinical manifestations of serious ADR/ADE were allergic shock, dyspnea and choking etc.CONCLUSION:Clinical rational use of drugs should be improved to avoid serious ADR and guarantee the safety of drug use.
ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the general regularity and characteristics of allergic shock which was caused by Mailuoning injection so as to prevent its recurrence and promote the rational use of drugs. METHODS: ADR reports about anaphylactic shock induced by Mailuoning injection which were publicly published in medical journals in China during 1994 Jan~2009 June were retrieved and analyzed statistically. RESULTS: A total of 31 cases of anaphylactic shock induced by Mailuoning injection included 1 death case, of which 21 cases were in males and 10 in females. Anaphylactic shock mostly occurred within 10 min after administration with a total of 25 cases. 25 cases occurred among patients aged above 40 years accounted for 83.87% in total. CONCLUSION: There are many correlated factors that allergic shock is induced by Mailuoning injection with serious consequence. So doctors and pharmacists should pay more attention to it.
ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:To discuss the general pattern and the characteristics of quinolones-induced allergic shocks.ME_THODS:A total of 165 quinolones-induced allergic shock cases reported in the domestic periodicals in recent 10 years were statistically classified and analyzed.RESULTS:Ten kinds of quinolones involved allergy shocks with ciprofloxacin, ofloxacin and norfloxacin respectively dominated the first 3 places, which account for 69.70% of the total. The incidence of allergy shocks was the highest when used intravenously(64.85%),in particular within the first 30min(70.30%) with the mortality at 2.42%.CO_NCLUSION:Attention should be paid to severe adverse drug reactions in the clinic so as to ensure safe drug use.
ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE:To probe the characteristics and regularities of drug-induced allergic shock.METHODS:The case reports of drug-induced allergic shock, published on Chinese medical periodicals during the period of1998to2003,were collected and analysed.RESULTS:Ocurrence rate and mortality of allergic shock induced by antimicrobials,Chinese materia medica and biologicals occupied the front3places in sequence, and drugs for intravenous administration resulted in the highest rate(61.30%).A large proportion of allergic shock was immediate type(78.73%).Drug-induced allergic shock was indepen?dent of sex and age.CONCLUSION:Allergic history should be taken in detail before the use,the indications of drug use strictly controlled and the ADRs observed so as to ensure the safe use of drugs.
