ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the rapid contents determination of potassium chloride and calcium chloride in Compound sodium chloride injection. METHODS:After diluted in appropriate way,Compound sodium chloride injection was sampled directly and contents of potassium chloride and calcium chloride were determined simultaneously by ICP-OES. The powder was 1 300 W,plasma gas flow rate was 15 L/min,auxiliary cooling gas flow was 0.2 L/min,atomizer flow rate was 0.8 L/min, the peristaltic pump rate was 0.8 L/min,atomizer pressure was 315 kPa,and the observation was axial observation, analysis spec-tral lines of potassium and calcium were 766.490 nm and 315.887 nm. RESULTS:The linear ranges of potassium and calcium were 1.0-12.0 mg/L (r=0.999 7 and 0.999 9);RSDs of precision and reproducibility tests were lower than 1%;recoveries were 98.5%-100.5%(RSD=0.59%,n=9)and 99.3%-102.3%(RSD=0.98%,n=9). CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple, rapid and simple, and can be used for the quality control of Compound sodium chloride injection.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To study the compatible stability of Ceftriaxone Sodium with Compound Sodium Chloride Injection or Sodium Lactate Ringer's Injection and study the compatible stability of the simulated in vivo peak concentration of ceftriaxone sodium with instant high concentration of calcium gluconate ion injection. METHODS: The concentration of Ceftriaxone Sodium in the mixture was determined by HPLC,meanwhile, the changes of the mixture in appearance,pH value, and the insoluble particles at room temperature were observed. RESULTS: At 0~2 hours, the mixture of Ceftriaxone Sodium and Compound Sodium Chloride Injection was clear in appearance;however,at 2 hours,it was white cloudy macroscopically, and its pH valued increased, ceftriaxone sodium content decreased and insoluble particles increased. The ceftriaxone sodium content reduced when mixed with sodium lactate ringer's injection. After mixing of simulated in vivo peak concentration of ceftriaxone sodium with instant high concentration of calcium gluconate ion injection, the appearance of the mixture was stable but the concentration of Ceftriaxone Sodium reduced slightly. CONCLUSION: Ceftriaxone Sodium can't be used in combination with Compound Sodium Chloride Injection or Sodium Lactate Ringer's Injection. Whether it is suitable to infuse calcium gluconate when ceftriaxone sodium (iv gtt) reached peak concentration remains to be confirmed in future study.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:To establish sodium tetraphenylborate volumetric method in place of gravimetric analysis method for the determination of the content of potassium chloride in compound sodium chloride injection.METHODS:The contents of potassium chloride in compound sodium chloride injection were determined by sodium tetraphenylborate volumetric method and sodium tetraphenylborate gravimetric method respectively, the results of which were compared.RESULTS:The average recovery of volumetric method was99.75%(RSD=0.46%,n=9),there was no significant difference in the t-test comparison between the determination results of volumetric method and that of the gravimetric method.CONCLUSION:The sodium tetraphenylborate volumetric method is simple, fast and accurate, which can take the place of gravimetric method for the deter?mination of contents of potassium chloride in compound sodium chloride injection.
