ABSTRACT

Introducción: La modalidad no presencial del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje se incrementó como respuesta a las condiciones creadas por la COVID-19, sin la necesaria preparación y experiencia de los docentes para implementarla. Objetivo: Proponer algunas consideraciones didácticas que tributan al adecuado manejo del docente de los componentes del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en la implementación de la modalidad no presencial. Posicionamiento de los autores: La exitosa implementación de cualquier variante de modalidad no presencial dependerá de la preparación del docente, particularmente en Didáctica, al asumir las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones como medios de enseñanza en la misión de hacer que sus estudiantes aprendan. Conclusiones: La no presencialidad en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje se considera una alternativa viable en circunstancias de pandemia u otras equivalentes, y debe ser una modalidad complementaria en la etapa posCOVID-19. Así que los profesores tendrán que replantear el proceso en todos sus componentes, en un contexto digital que ya no tiene vuelta atrás(AU)


Introduction: Within the teaching-learning process, the non-face-to-face modality was increased as a response to the conditions created by COVID-19, but without the necessary preparation and experience for professors to implement it. Objective: To propose some didactic considerations that contribute to the professor's adequate management of the components of the teaching-learning process in the implementation of the non-face-to-face modality. Authors' position: The successful implementation of any variant of the non-face-to-face modality will depend on the professor's preparation, particularly in didactics, when assuming information and communication technologies as teaching means in the mission of making their students learn. Conclusions: Within the teaching-learning process, the non-face-to-face condition is considered a viable alternative in pandemic, or other equivalent, circumstances; it should be a complementary modality in the post-COVID-19 stage. Thus, professors will have to rethink the process focusing on all its components, within a digital context that has no turning back(AU)

ABSTRACT

RESUMO Objetivo Investigar a associação entre o perfil dermatoglífico e a condição vocal dos professores de uma instituição pública de ensino superior. Métodos Participaram do estudo 49 docentes. Foram utilizados os seguintes instrumentos de coleta: questionário sociodemográfico e Índice de Triagem para Distúrbios da Voz (ITDV). As impressões digitais foram coletadas por meio do scanner Watson Mini da Integrated Biometric e a análise realizada por meio do protocolo de Cummins e Midlo. Os resultados foram expostos em frequência absoluta. Foi realizado o teste Qui-Quadrado, com nível de significância de 5%, para verificação da associação dos sintomas vocais do ITDV com o perfil dermatoglífico. Resultados houve prevalência do gênero feminino entre os docentes universitários estudados. Quanto à classificação do perfil dermatoglífico, a maioria apresentou perfil anaeróbico. Observou-se associação estatisticamente significativa apenas entre perfil dermatoglífico e carga horária semanal. Conclusão a maioria dos sujeitos de perfil anaeróbico teve maior frequência de sintomas vocais. Observou-se associação estatisticamente significativa entre carga horária semanal e perfil dermatoglífico.


ABSTRACT Purpose To investigate the association between the dermatoglyphic profile and the vocal condition of teachers at a public higher education institution. Methods 49 professors participated in the study. After signing the Informed Consent Form, the following instruments were used: sociodemographic questionnaire and Voice Disorder Screening Index (ITDV). Fingerprints were collected using the Integrated Biometric Watson Mini scanner and analysis performed using the Cummins and Midlo protocol. The results were presented in absolute frequency. The Chi-Square Test was performed, with a significance level of 5%, to verify the association of ITDV vocal symptoms with a dermatoglyphic profile. This study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of a public higher education institution under protocol number 3,372.226. Results There was a prevalence of females among the university professors studied. As for the classification of the dermatoglyphic profile , most had an anaerobic profile. There was a statistically significant association only between dermatoglyphic profile and weekly workload. Conclusion Most subjects with an anaerobic profile had more frequency of vocal symptoms. There was a statistically significant association between weekly working hours and dermatoglyphic profile.

ABSTRACT

O objetivo do presente artigo e descrever o nível de estresse em docentes universitários da área de saúde de uma faculdade privada do entorno do Distrito Federal. Trata-se de um estudo transversal, analítico e quantitativo, realizado entre agosto e dezembro de 2017. Os dados foram coletados por meio dos seguintes instrumentos auto-aplicáveis: Questionário para descrever o perfil sócio demográfico e profissional dos docentes e Escala de Estresse no Trabalho (EET). O nível de estresse nos docentes universitários da área de saúde foi baixo em 67% de acordo com os dados coletados. As situações avaliadas como mais estressantes são: a falta de autonomia na execução do trabalho, a deficiência na divulgação de informações sobre decisões organizacionais, falta de informações sobre as tarefas no trabalho, tipo de controle existente no trabalho e o tempo insuficiente para realizar o volume de trabalho. Embora a docência seja considerada estressante, os docentes parecem lidar bem com as situações do ambiente de trabalho a partir de enfrentamentos efetivos aos estressores.

ABSTRACT

Se realizó un estudio de corte transversal en 145 docentes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de una universidad pública venezolana. El propósito de este estudio fue determinar la frecuencia del Síndrome de Burnout, (BO) así como la identificación de los riesgos laborales y su asociación con las diferentes áreas del BO. Para ello, se utilizó el instrumento MBI, de Maslach modificado por Roman (2003), y la prueba de los tres deseos. La recolección de los datos tuvo una duración de 4 meses. Se midió el nivel de Burnout en sus distintas áreas de afectación; los resultados de las variables se sometieron a análisis estadístico uni y bivariado. Como principal resultado se encontró el agotamiento emocional (AE) como el área de mayor afectación en 69% de los docentes. Asimismo se encontró que el hecho de trabajar en otro sitio diferente al recinto universitario (trabajo clínico público y privado), se comportó como un factor protector para el AE en los docentes: [OR = 0,46 (IC 95% = 0,21-1,02; p < 0.05)], pese a que la asociación no alcanzó significancia estadística. La prevalencia del BO fue de 21%; mala infraestructura y condiciones de trabajo; bajos salarios y burocracia administrativa, fueron identificados como principales problemas que afectan la labor docente.


We performed a field study and cross-section of 145 teachers from the Faculty of Health Sciences from a public Venezuelan university. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of burnout syndrome (BO), as well as the identification of occupational risk factors and their possible association with the different areas of the BO. For this research is used the instrument MBI of Maslach modified by Roman, (2003), and testing of three wishes. The data collection lasted four months. We measured the level of Burnout in different areas of affectation; the results of the different variables were subjected to statistical analysis univariate and bivariate. The main results observed emotional exhaustion (AE) as the main area of affectation of the BO in 69% of teachers. Also we found that the fact of working in another place different from the campus (Public and Privates Clinic Work) is a protective factor for the AE in the teachers: OR = 0.46 [(95% CI = 0.21 to 1.02, p <0.05)], even though this association did not found statistically significant. The prevalence of BO was from 21%. Poor infrastructure and working conditions, low salaries and administrative bureaucracy, were identified as major problems affecting the teaching profession.

ABSTRACT

El estudio busca interpretar los imaginarios sociales en estudiantes de Psicología sobre el desempeño del docente universitario. Mediante la revisión de 299 archivos de evaluaciones a docentes, entrevistas estructuradas y estrategias de asociación libre en las que participaron 79 estudiantes, se recogió y se analizó cualitativamente la información, develando imaginarios relacionados con las funciones atribuidas a los docentes universitarios, para la formación de psicólogos. Los estudios centralizan los imaginarios en la función docencia, referida a los métodos de enseñanza, al manejo de la disciplina, a los métodos de evaluación, a la motivación; de igual manera, a las relaciones interpersonales, al manejo del poder, al fomento del desarrollo de los estudiantes en aspectos emocionales, enfocados al amor por el conocimiento. Relacionan cómo el mal desempeño de los docentes afecta el desempeño de los estudiantes, ocasionando, algunas veces, la deserción estudiantil. Reconocen la función investigativa del docente, quien enriquece sus conocimientos, y valoran sus aportes al desarrollo y la transformación social. Consideran necesario plantear políticas que garanticen su eficiencia en las actividades académico-administrativas. La necesidad de una enseñanza verdaderamente formativa en el campo psicológico demanda de la revisión de las competencias del docente en esta disciplina, que se articulen a las características de la población estudiantil y a las exigencias de la sociedad actual.


The study seeks to interpret the social imaginaries in students of psychology on the teacher performance of the university. Through the revision of 299 archives of educational evaluations, structured interviews and strategies of free association in which 79 students participated, the information wascollected and analyzed qualitatively, revealing imaginaries related to the attributed functions of the college professors, for the education of psychologists. These studies centralize the imaginaries on the teaching function, referred to the education methods discipline handling, evaluation methods, motivation; interpersonal relations; handling of the power, promotion of student development in emotional aspects, focused on the love of knowledge. They show how four teaching performances affect student performance, causing some times, student desertion. They recognize the research function of the the professors who enriches their knowledge and they value his/hes contributions to the development and the social transformation. They consider necessary to raise policies that guarantee their efficiency in the academic administrative activities. The need for a truely instructive education in the psychological field demands the revision of the professor's skills in this discipline, which should articulate to the characteristics of the student population and to the requirements of the present society.

ABSTRACT

Introducción La calidad de vida del docente universitario es un área de controversias y de interés para múltiples disciplinas. Objetivo Configurar aproximaciones teóricas a la calidad de vida de los docentes universitarios, teniendo como fundamento epistemológico la Complejidad. Métodos Se utilizó la hermenéutica crítica con la técnica de revisión documental. Resultados La calidad de vida el docente universitario emergió como una realidad en deterioro progresivo respecto a los componentes socioeconómicos, de salud mental y satisfacción laboral, siendo relevantes el trabajo, la recreación, el apoyo social y familiar como compensadores, al aplicar los principios de la Complejidad. Conclusiones Se hacen necesarios abordajes de la calidad de vida del docente universitario desde múltiples perspectivas, con amplitud de criterio y con la concepción sistémica y compleja de la realidad, para configurar la red de interrelaciones de sus múltiples componentes.


Introduction The quality of life of university professors) is an area of both controversy and interest for various disciplines. Objective To make up theoretical approaches to the quality of life of university professors, taking complexity as the epistemological fundamental. Methods Critical hermeneutics and documentary review technique were used. Results The quality of life of university professors emerged as reality in progressive deterioration in relation to the socioeconomic components, mental health and work satisfaction, being job, recreation, social and family support relevant compensators when the principles of complexity are considered. Conclusions It is necessary to have approaches to the quality of life of university professors from multiple perspectives, with wide variety of criteria and complex and systemic conception of the realities, in order to create the network of interrelationships among their many components.

ABSTRACT

La educación incide en el desarrollo social y cultural de las naciones, por lo que de su perfeccionamiento se esperan logros significativos en el avance integral de la sociedad. En el campo de la educación en ciencias de la salud es crucial la formación de docentes que puedan afrontar los retos que se plantean en el ámbito mundial y mantener altos estándares de calidad. En el presente artículo se analizan los diversos parámetros establecidos para definir las competencias de los docentes en ciencias de la salud, sus funciones y las actividades necesarias para su cumplimiento involucrando a los diversos actores del proceso educativo. Este modelo busca generar procesos formativos de mayor calidad, con base en las necesidades de la sociedad, del desarrollo de la profesión y del trabajo académico. Asumir esta responsabilidad implica que las facultades de ciencias de la salud redefinan sus proyectos educativos y promuevan de manera congruente acciones pedagógicas que se traduzcan en modificaciones reales de las prácticas docentes. Por ello es importante que los docentes participen continuamente en acciones de formación y capacitación para desarrollar competencias similares a las que buscan formar en los estudiantes.


Education affects the social and cultural development of nations; therefore, significant achievements in the integral advance of society are expected from its improvement. Training of teachers in the field of health sciences education is crucial to enable them to confront the new challenges that arise worldwide and to maintain high quality standards. In this article the diverse parameters established to define the competences of health sciences teachers, their functions, and the activities necessary to fulfil their goals are analyzed, involving the different actors of the educational process. This model tries to generate higher quality learning processes, based on the needs of society, the development of the profession and of the academic work. To assume this responsibility the health sciences faculties need to redefine their educational projects and consistently promote actions that translate into real changes in the teaching practices. Therefore, it is important for teachers to be continuously involved in training activities to develop competences similar to those they expect their students to acquire.
