ABSTRACT

Molecular Biology is the core course of biology major, whose fundamentals are classical and which develops rapidly as well. The introduction of the discipline frontiers is an ideal way to enhance the vitality of the classroom. Based on MOOC resources, the course group combined online independent study and offline face to face class to implement blended learning. Driven by the discipline frontiers, diversified teaching methods were introduced and classroom ecology was reconstructed. Multiple teaching sessions, including students’ independent study, questioning and presentation, class leading role of the teachers, questions and answers and knowledge expansion have been rolled out and unified so as to cultivate the science and humanity spirit of the students and enhance the vitality of the classroom. This blended teaching model effectively exercises students’ innovative thinking, improves students’ participation, and plays a positive role in enriching learning experience, stimulating professional dream and promoting students’ enlightenment.

ABSTRACT

Current status and problems of experimental teaching for medical postgraduate were an-alyzed. Based on experimental teaching in Center of Experimental Teaching for Postgraduates in Medicine at Xi'an Jiaotong University , application of flipped classroom to experimental teaching for postgraduates were discussed in details. Application of flipped classroom to experimental teaching of Cellular and Molec-ular Biology for postgraduates in medicine was introduced. After advantages and disadvantages of flipped classroom were analyzed, countermeasures were proposed. Combining flipped classroom with traditional teaching method is considered to be helpful to the utilization of flipped classroo, and the enhancement of in-novative thinking of postgraduates.

ABSTRACT

Teaching and Research Section of Pathophysiology of Medical School of Three Gorges University explored the methods to cultivate innovative thinking of university student. These methods included inspiring potential of innovative thinking by pathophysiology development rule , get-ting rid of regular psychological tendency by clinical case and introducing innovative thinking training method by medical innovation case. These experiences may provide references for innovative education.
