ABSTRACT
Objective To discuss the efficacy of six ingredient rehmannia pill combined with metformin in treatment of type 2 diabetes with Qi-Yin deficiency.Methods 120 cases with type 2 diabetes were selected.They were divided into two groups randomly.The observation group (60 cases) took six ingredient rehmannia pill combined with metformin.The control group (60 cases) took metformin.The efficacy of interlocking intramedullary nail and fracture contusion capsule in treatment of open tibial fracutre was evaluated by fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 h blood glucose,total symptom scores before and after treatment,adverse reaction during treatment.Results The effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Before treatment,fasting blood glucose and postprandial 2 h blood glucose level had no significant difference between two groups.After treatment,the blood glucose of two groups were decreased (P ＜ 0.05).The fasting blood glucose and blood glucose 2 h after meal of observation group were lower than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Before treatment,total symptom scores had no significant difference.After treatment,the two groups of the total symptom scores were decreased significantly (P ＜ 0.05),and the observation group the total symptom score lower than that of the control group (P ＜ 0.05).During the treatment,the control group of 1 cases of hypoglycemia,the observation group of 1 cases of hypoglycemia,1 cases of mild nausea.The adverse reactions of two groups had no significant difference.Conclusion Six ingredient rehmannia pill combined with metformin had good effect on type 2 diabetes.It could significantly improve the symptoms of diabetes diagnosed by traditional Chinese medicine.The hypoglycemic effect was obvious with high drugy safety.It was worthy of clinical application.

Objective:To investigate the effects of Liuweidihuang pill on the insulin levels in sera and pancreatic islets from spontaneous mouse models of human type 2 diabetes administrated with different doses .Methods:The 6-8 week-old KK-Ay mice were randomly divided into three groups including no drug control group ,low-dose group and high-dose group,in addition C57BL/6J mice were used as a genetic control group .All the animals were given with different dose Liuweidihuang pill solutions or sterile distilled water by intragastrical administration for fifteen weeks .The fasting blood glucose ,body mass and food consumption were measured weekly .The serum insulin levels were surveyed by ELISA .And the insulin levels in the pancreas islets were detected by immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry .Results:Decreased fasting blood glucose ,controlled body mass and food consumption ,and lower levels of insulin in the sera and pancreas islets were confirmed from the KK-Ay mice administered with Liuweidihuang pill .Furthermore,the low dose program exhibits a stronger effect .Conclusion:Liuweidihuang pill has exhibited relatively therapeutic effects in the spontaneous type 2 diabetes mice including controls of hyperglycemia and body mass and relieving insulin resistance .In addition , the low-dose regimen showed even better treatment in controlling insulin levels in the sera and pancreas islets .

To observe the protective e ect of oral Liuweidihuang pill combined with Shengmai capsule on heart of primary hypertension with syndrome of de ciency of both qi and yin of heart and kidney.Method:While decreasing blood pressure with Captopril,oral Liuweidihuang pill combined with Shengmai capsule was used to treat 55 cases of primary hypertension,control groups was established.BP,cardiac function,damage degree of myocardial hypertrophy and blood vessel endothelium were detected.Result:ALL the indexes above in treatment group decreased obviously,showed signi cant di erence when compared with control group.Conclusion:Oral Liuweidihuang pill combined with Shengmai capsule and Captopril has cooperative e ect of antihypertension.The combined medication can treat heart damage by reducing myocardial oxygen consumption index,reversing myocardial hypertrophy,improving left ventricular function,protecting blood vessel endothelium,and preventing arteriosclerosis.
