ABSTRACT

A two-sided market perspective was employed to depict public hospital as a platform,including cross-group network externality,demand complementarities and price discrimination.Knowledge worker framework was employed to depict features of physicians.The paper argued that the public hospital could support autonomy and achievement attributes.The development of organization platform indicates that public hospital should invest more resources in technician exclusively associated to platform,encourage physicians to use platform efficiently,establish a various organizational ecology,and entrust physicians greater governance.

ABSTRACT

This paper introduces the development situation and mode of physician group in China, and analyzes its main legal risks and countermeasures.The main legal risks include: the nature of the Physician group is fuzzy and specific laws and regulations lack a clear stipulation;the legitimacy of the cooperative mode of the physician group is difficult to define and lacks legal protection for its contract effectiveness and implementation;the practice is driven by the interests and loopholes in legal norms and physicians may illegally transfer the patients;the multipoint practice policy is not perfect and brought legal risks for the development of the physician group.Therefore, the following measures are proposed to take adequate precautions: firstly, the nature of the physician group and its standards of supervision and taxes should be identified and clarified;secondly, the legitimacy standard for the physician group should be established for its cooperation mode to standardize the doctors` behavioral standards;and finally, we should make sure the multipoint practice policy and physician practice law are coherent during implementation.

ABSTRACT

In the United States of America, the physician group practice has become one of the most common practice models, and has a relatively perfect and clear system of laws and regulations in its monitoring.In view of the policy side, the federal government has published the Stark Law to regulate the registration, properties, operation, service contents in details for the physician group practice.Taking the market side, it is practiced to protect the physician groups and medical practice behaviors through medical insurance policies.In China, the emergence of physician group has received widespread attention and concern.But since the short development time and unclear development path, the relevant laws and regulations for physician groups are still are not perfect.This paper aims to summarize the development and status quo of the American physician group as well as the regulations related to the groups` operating system, which will provide a good reference to China.The purpose is to provide policy recommendations for the standardized development and perfect regulations of physician groups in China.The following recommendations were put forward: improve the relevant laws and regulations;promote the establishment of the corresponding security policies;speed up and enhance the research and development of medical liability insurance;do continuous tracking and timely summarize practices.

ABSTRACT

With performance evaluation management as the stepping stone,the hospital joined the DRGs with the attending in-charge method by means of enforcing the attending in charge practice,DRGs knowledge training,and identifying problems with DRGs grouped data of the attending physician group, in an effort to explore new methods of medical quality control.Two years of practice provide tools of quality control to strengthen the hospital’s fine management.At the same time,it should also be noticed that DRGs merely diversify management means,as the content and form of which still need to constantly be improved in the course.
