ABSTRACT

Laboratory research training is pivotal for the cultivation of biomedical postgraduates. Supervisors' educational and managing skills have great impacts on the quality of their cultivation to postgraduates. Recently, many prominent biomedical experts in stem cell field all over the world fully discussed the way for cultivating biomedical postgraduates, including the educational conception, supervisors' responsibilities and guiding way, etc., they have reached a certain consensus in multiple aspects, such as inspiring students' potential ability, supporting diversified career development and creating a good laboratory atmosphere. Moreover, they shared some ways of guiding with personal characteristic and strong operability. Herein, we reviewed and summarized their viewpoints and comments based on our experiences, expecting to provide useful references for biomedical postgraduates' cultivation in China.

ABSTRACT

At present, the teaching management department is facing a big puzzle in the education of medical professional postgraduate degree. How to strengthen the appropriate scientific research training while successfully completing the 33-months clinical rotation. With the social development and increasing demands, the original training model that training professional technical personnel and scientific academic personnel seperately has been confirmed unable to adapt to the current requirements. Combining with the practi-cal experience of the medical postgraduate degree education, we put forward some constructive suggestions of boosting the innovation of the medical postgraduate degree education from several aspects, such as optimizing the training process, strengthening the stage man-agement, improving the quality of the tutor team, smoothing the communication mechanism between teachers and students, cultivating clinical research thinking, etc.

ABSTRACT

In the clinic postgraduate cultivation,the student-centralized teaching philosophy claims to elevate students’ activeness,develop their leading function sufficiently,carry out students-centralized and teachers-assisted case discussion,and meanwhile proceed phase tests. In this way,it is profitable for improving students’ ability of thinking and teaching effectiveness.

First of all,all tutors as well as postgraduates should have concept of innovation.Secondly,favorable environment should be built up for innovative thoughts.Finally,tutors should try their best to cultivate students'innovative thoughts and direct their creationary practice.
