ABSTRACT

Introducción: el traspaso de información a través del enlace de turno es el eje para la continuidad del cuidado y el aseguramiento de la calidad de la atención en el bienestar del paciente. No obstante, existen factores que dificultan el enlace de turno que a menudo pasan inadvertidos debido a la rutina creada en torno del cuidado. Objetivo: conocer los factores que influyen en la calidad y seguridad de la atención de enfermería durante el enlace de turno. Metodología: revisión sistematizada con metodología integradora y pregunta clínica PICOT. Descriptores: enlace de turno, calidad y seguridad en español, inglés y portugués; búsqueda en las bases de datos: CUIDEN, LILACS, PubMed y SciELO y en los repositorios Redalyc y BiDi UNAM; lectura, evaluación crítica con CASPe y análisis de contenido según lo describió Berelson. Resultados: 16 artículos cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión. Prevalecieron los estudios con nivel de evidencia y grado de recomendación III/C (81.25%), en idioma inglés (50%) y del área de enfermería (92.30%). Modelo de categorías: factores personales, profesionales y organizacionales, herramienta estandarizada para su cumplimiento e instrumentos para evaluar la calidad del proceso. Conclusión: la comunicación es el factor principal que produce el adecuado o inadecuado enlace de turno. A pesar de contar con una herramienta estandarizada, en ocasiones no se utiliza de manera correcta o no se emplea para evaluar el proceso.


Introduction: The transfer of information through nurse duty shift is the axis for continuing care and ensuring quality in favor of patient's well-being. However, there are factors that make it difficult to liaise nurse duty shift that often go unnoticed due to routine created around care. Objective: Identify factors that influence the quality and safety of nursing care during duty shift. Methods: Systematic review with integrative methodology. PICOT clinical question. DeSC and MeSH: change of shift, quality and safety in Spanish, English and Portuguese; in the CUIDEN, LILACS, PubMed and SciELO databases as well as in the Redalyc and BiDi UNAM repositories; reading and evaluation with CASPe and content analysis described by Berelson.Results: 16 articles met the inclusion criteria. Studies with level of evidence and grade of recommendation III/C (81.25%) prevailed, in English (50%) and in the nursing area (92.30%). Category model: personal, professional and organizational factors, standardized tool for compliance and instruments to assess the quality of the process. Conclusion: Communication is the main factor that determines an adequate or inadequate change-of-shift. Despite having a standardized tool, sometimes it is not used correctly or is not used to evaluate the process.

ABSTRACT

Focusing on the requirements of visual traceability for reprocessing of reused medical devices under the background of deep integration of intelligent medical treatment, a quality and safety traceability system for disinfection of reused medical devices is developed. The multi-dimensional data of the reprocessing chain of reusable medical devices are acquired in real time by the RFID mobile terminal handset and stored temporarily. The data package is formatted based on LoRa protocol and uploaded to the management and control platform in multi-threaded transmission mode for in-depth analysis and traceability. The corresponding prototype system is developed. The first-line operation and maintenance test results show that the prototype system has strong cooperation, strong operation robustness, and obvious advantages in the identification rate and other layers of sterile equipment package.

ABSTRACT

The construction of safe hospital is the foundation of high-quality development of the hospital, and innovation provides power for the construction of safe hospital from the perspective of high-quality development. Taking Zhejiang Provincial People′s Hospital as an example, the authors introduced the innovation construction path of safe hospital in detail, and put forward the construction strategy of safe hospital with " two hearts" (patient-centered, employee-centered)and " four wings" (multimedia doctor-patient communication, Wulin aunt medical studio, integrated operation safety inspection, third-party medical liability insurance). Through the combination of basic safety management and innovative practice, the hospital vigorously promoted the culture of " two hearts" , and established an efficient collaborative information management system, so as to form replicable and promotable practical experience and promote the development of safe hospital.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: To analyze the main measures of the drug quality and safety risks management in the national drug sampling and testing, and provide reference for improving the drug sampling and testing after listing. METHODS: Using retrospective research methods to analyze the effects of the deadline management, special item (special topic) sampling and testing, serious quality risk disposal mechanism, nonserious quality risk warning mechanism, information disclosure on drug quality and safety risk management during the national drug sampling and testing in 2014-2019. RESULTS: A series of measures improved a timely, efficient and complete closed-loop response chain of risk identification-disposal-disclosure. CONCLUSION: The main measures can help reduce public drug safety risks and have good demonstration and guiding significance for local drug sampling and testing. It is recommended to continuously improve the risk management mechanism, such as learning from the US and EU drug regulatory experience, strengthening the sampling and testing of vaccines, imported drugs and consistency evaluated drugs, and personalized designing test and research strategies.

At the same time, it also systematically illustrates the warning and monitoring of organ transplantation risk, which is worthy of application in clinical study and practice.

ABSTRACT Radiology departments were forced to make significant changes in their routine during the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, to prevent further transmission of the coronavirus and optimize medical care as well. In this article, we describe our Radiology Department's policies in a private hospital for coronavirus disease 2019 preparedness focusing on quality and safety for the patient submitted to imaging tests, the healthcare team involved in the exams, the requesting physician, and for other patients and hospital environment.


RESUMO Os departamentos de radiologia precisaram adotar mudanças significativas em sua rotina durante a pandemia da doença causada pelo novo coronavírus, a fim de reduzir sua transmissibilidade e otimizar os cuidados médicos. Neste artigo, descrevemos as políticas adotadas pelo Departamento de Radiologia de um hospital privado durante a pandemia, com foco em qualidade e segurança de paciente submetido a exames de imagem, equipe de assistência do departamento de imagem, médico solicitante, demais pacientes e ambiente hospitalar.

ABSTRACT

Present study was conducted using purposive sampling technique to identify prevailing marketing practices and consumer preference for pork in Bareilly city. The study revealed that majority of retailers come under middle age group and belong to lower socio-economic strata. Facilities of chiller, deep freezer, disinfectant and packaging and labeling were not available at any retail shops. Majority of respondent sold 30-35kg pork/day with higher frequency of selling at morning within 4-5 hrs of slaughter. Problems faced by retailers were poor financial conditions and lack of marketing chain. Pork retailers required training and aids related to pork business from government. Majority of consumers at Bareilly city belongs to the lower socio-economic strata. Majority of individuals purchased pork at least 1-2 times per week, most of them purchased at morning time. Most of consumer preferred ham cut, purchased meat from road side stalls immediately after slaughter for preparing dishes from pork and preferred stewing. Finally, it can be concluded that pork was sold through unorganized sector, both consumers and retailers were not aware about quality and safety of pork and meager value chain exist for pork business at Bareilly city

ABSTRACT

This paper reviews the quality and safety risk points of medical devices found in the sampling inspection of national medical device supervision in recent years. These risk points are summarized into quality management system, product technical requirements, national standards and industry standards, etc. Several specific risk scenarios are further summarized. Based on the above efforts, a more comprehensive risk point system is constructed. Then it is illustrated with typical examples. In view of the existing problems, the corresponding suggestions are put forward to the production enterprises and supervision departments respectively.

ABSTRACT

This study aimed at the quality and safety improvements of surgical services in terms of preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative sections, and at establishing corresponding restraint standards. To this end, such methods as literature analysis, dispute case analysis, surgical adverse event analysis, and system standard interpretation as well as clinical experts survey were called into play, to identify key elements in terms of the universality, high-prevalence rate, criticality and impact degree. A standard framework is established focusing on surgical service and such nodes as key components of the event; a standard text on surgical service quality and safety management is developed, comprising three sections, 8 nodes, 27 key elements and 82 standards.

An effective quality control system is the key to ensuring the quality, safety and efficacy of traditional Chinese medicines (TCMs). However, the current quality standard research lacks top-level design and systematic design, mostly based on specific technologies or evaluation methods. To resolve the challenges and questions of quality control of TCMs, a brand-new quality standard system, named "iVarious", was proposed. The system comprises eight elements in a modular format. Meaning of every element was specifically illustrated via corresponding research instances. Furthermore, frankincense study was taken as an example for demonstrating standards and research process, based on the "iVarious" system. This system highlighted a holistic strategy for effectiveness, security, integrity and systematization of quality and safety control standards of TCMs. The establishment of "iVarious" integrates multi-disciplinary technologies and progressive methods, basis elements and key points of standard construction. The system provides a novel idea and technological demonstration for regulation establishment of TCMs quality standards.

Objective To improve the coverage rate of medical equipment metrological verification to ensure medical equipment safety and efficiency.Methods PDCA cycle was used to analyze the main problems in medical equipment metrological verification from the aspects of personnel,institution,management and flow,and the solutions were put forward accordingly.A certain of verification devices were sampled after verification,and the coverage rate of medical equipment metrological verification in the hospital was estimated based on the corresponding value of the sampled devices.Results Statistical analysis on the verification devices in 3 a showed the coverage rate of verification was enhanced from 45.5% to 97.5%.Conclusion PDCA cycle contributes to increasing the coverage rate of medical equipment metrological verification.

@#BACKGROUND: Assessing the customer’s satisfaction of the health care services, professional organizations suggest the special methods to study what they want and don’t want and how much can pay for the service. For this purpose, we conducted the study to determine the satisfaction of the customers of Darkhan-Uul province health care organizations in 2016, according to the international experience. The survey was conducted in the Darkhan-Uul province Health Department, in general hospitals, public and private medical institutions in 2015 and 2016 respectively. On the basis of a unified methodology according to the order of the Ministry of Health No. 13 of 2014, the survey was conducted on the basis of a special questionnaire prepared in accordance with articles 22 and 23 of the Minister of Health No. 448. The results of the consumer survey, customer satisfaction in Darhan-Uul province by 2016 were higher than in 2015, a good estimate of 1.4%, an average rating of 10.4% and below was a poor estimate of 11.8%. The survey shows the need to consider the issue of equality, which is a key issue in the field of human rights, the formulation of political environments and the regulation of their situation.

Results:Establish five indicators hospital medical equipment quality and safety management, include adverse event monitoring indicators, strong inspection of measuring instruments management indicators, the use of personnel training management indicators, emergency life support equipment management class indicators, single-use sterile medical supplies and equipment management indicators. Conclusion:Proposed hospital quality and safety of medical equipment management indicators help to ensure the quality and safety of medical equipment, to provide a reference by exploring management indicators for the quality and safety management of medical equipment.
