ABSTRACT
Objective: To investigate effects of Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong and Radix Paeoniae Rubra on the relative expression of Nogo-A/NgR/RhoA/ ROCK mRNA in acute cerebral infarction rats. Methods: Healthy male SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group, blank group, low dose, medium dose and high dose Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong and Radix Paeoniae Rubra group, Ginkgo biloba group, Nimodipine group, and each group was divided into 3 days, 7 days, 14 days three time points. Real-Time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to detect Nogo-A/NgR/RhoA/ROCK mRNA relative expression changes of acute cerebral infarction rats. Results: Compared with the blank group and the sham operation group, the relative expression level of Nogo-A/NgR/RhoA/ROCK mRNA was increased in the model group both at 3 days, 7 days and 14 days (P ＜ 0.05). After the treatment of Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong and Radix Paeoniae Rubra, other than there was no significant difference between the low-dose group and the model group except for 7 days, the relative expression level of Nogo-A/NgR/RhoA/ROCK mRNA in Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong and Radix Paeoniae Rubra groups was lower than that in the model group (P ＜ 0. 05). Conclusion: The relative expression level of Nogo-A/NgR/RhoA/ROCK mRNA in acute cerebral infarction rats can be reduced by Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong and Radix Paeoniae Rubra.

Depression has become a serious disease affecting the health of Chinese people. Yueju pill has shown a unique rapid and lasting anti-depression effect, and Yueju pill can rapidly improve Parkinson's disease with depression.The drug pair of Fructus Gardeniae and Rhizoma Ligustici Chuanxiong is necessary for traditional Chinese formula Yueju Pill for antidepressant effect. Recent studies have found the antidepressant effect of Yueju pills at regular doses, and an integrative pharmacological method was adopted to predict the targets and pathways of Yueju pill and explore its molecular mechanism for depression. In recent years, there has been an increasing number of clinical studies on the treatment of depression with Yueju pills and significant therapeutic effects. A new clinical study found that Yueju pill may have antidepressant effects and increase serum BDNF concentration. This paper reviewed the recent research progress of Yueju pill in the treatment of depression in recent 5 years.

Objective To probe the significance of treatment with Integrated traditional And westem medicaine for migraine.Methods 54 cases of migraine that were treated by Nimodipine Tablets and Tea of rhizoma ligustici wallichi were taken as a treatement group.Their therapeutic evaluation was based on the headache indcx and headache period(numbers of day)within 4 weeks before and after treatment.Results In treatment group,marked,slight and no improvement of clinincal symptom were achieved in 30,12and3 patients respectively.The total cffective rate was 94.4%,Vomitiong and nausea wasn't observed in all cases.In 11,7and9 cases respectively.Vomiting and nausea was observed in 7cases,dizziness and palpitation in 9 cases,blood pressure reductio in 12 cases,the total effective rate was 66.7%.The differene in therapeatic effect between two groups was statistically singnificant(P
ABSTRACT
Objective To study and establish the GC fingerprint of Rhizoma Ligustici from Suichuan to guide the standardization of planting Rhizoma Ligustici. MethodsTen batches of volatile oils were extracted by steam distillation, then separated by capillary gas chromatography and determined by GC/MS. ResultsThe similarity of ten batches of Rhizoma Ligustici from Suichuan is higher, all samples contain derivatives of phthalides and allyl-benzene. ConclusionThe method is reliable, accurate and can be used to evaluate the quality of Suichuan Rhizoma Ligustici and guide the planting.

OBJECTIVE:To study the anti-thrombotic,choleretic and anti-ulcerous actions of Rhizoma Ligustici METHO_DS:Experiments were carried out on conventional models of choleresis and ulceration,and on a thrombotic model of using direct current continuously to stimulate the unilateral carotid artery of anesthetic rat RESULTS:Alcoholic extract of Rhizoma Ligustici 3g herb/kg and 10g herb/kg id or ig,increased choleresis and prolonged the time for arterial thrombosis induced by electric stimulation in rats,but did not prolonged coagulative time,PT and KPTT The extract 5g herb/kg and 15g herb/kg ig,inhibited the formation of gastric ulcers induced by water immersion,stress,HCl and indomethacin-alcohol in mice CONCLU_SION:Rhizoma Ligustici has anti-thrombotic choleretic and anti-ulcerous actions
