O objeto que se deixa apagar: a função do negativo na constituição psíquica / The object that lets itself erased: the function of the negative in the psychic constitution

Este trabalho se propõe pensar a função do objeto primordial na constituição psíquica a partir da obra de André Green. Distanciando-se do modelo pós-freudiano anglo-saxão, que dá às relações de objeto e à díade mãe-bebê um lugar primordial na fundação do aparelho psíquico, Green aposta na potência da criação de um novo modelo teórico-clínico contemporâneo que empreenda uma costura fecunda entre a perspectiva relacional e a pulsionalidade, partindo da noção de terceiridade como matriz fundadora do psiquismo. O pai se inscreve, desde sempre, na relação mãe-bebê, como figura de ausência, ao ocupar um lugar na mente e no desejo da mãe, configurando uma triangulação primordial. A função materna, assim, ao comportar em si a marca do pai enquanto processualidade, atua não só no registro da presença, mas também como negatividade estruturante, imprescindível para que a mãe se torne um objeto que se deixa apagar

This paper proposes to think the function of the primary object in the psychic constitution, from the work of André Green. Distancing himself from the post-Freudian Anglo-Saxon model, which gives the object relations and the mother-infant dyad a prime place in the foundation of the psychic apparatus, Green invests in the power of creating a new contemporary theoretical and clinical model to undertake an fruitful seam between the relational perspective and the pulsionality, starting from the notion of thirdness as the founding mother of the psyche. The father falls, always been, the mother-child relationship, as a figure of absence, to occupy a place in mind and desire of the mother, setting up a primary triangulation. The maternal role, thus to behave itself the mark of the father as processuality, operates not only in the record of presence, but also as a structuring negativity, essential for the mother to become an object that lets herself get erased

Las relaciones de pareja en el Chile actual: entre el monólogo colectivo y la terceridad / Couple relationships in Chile today: between collective monologue and thirdness

Se presenta el análisis de un caso, parte de una investigación en curso cuyo objetivo es indagar en la experiencia subjetiva respecto a las relaciones de pareja y es parte de una línea de investigación en torno a la intimidad desde una perspectiva de género e intersubjetiva. Se identifica una vivencia ambivalente de la intimidad con la pareja. Por un lado, se la percibe amenazante de la propia individualidad, en tanto “irrupción” que desestabiliza el proyecto personal o el proyecto personal de pareja, el cual se construye sin dejar espacio para los límites y particularidades que aportaría el otro. Y, al mismo tiempo, la pareja también constituye un espacio idealizado de refugio afectivo. Las conclusiones conceptualizan la estrategia desplegada frente a esta ambivalencia en relación a la pareja como un continuo que va desde un “monólogo colectivo” hasta la experiencia de intimidad en tanto un espacio co-construido, en la línea de lo que autores como Jessica Benjamin (2004) han denominado como un espacio de terceridad. Estos resultados aportan evidencia de la conceptualización de intimidad propuesta por Virginia Goldner (2004; 2007) como un proceso susceptible de quiebres y reparación, más que como un estado definitivo a alcanzar.

A case analysis is presented as part of an ongoing research project. The project attempts to look into the subjective experience of couples and is part of a whole line of investigation that looks at intimacy from a gender and intersubjective perspective. An ambivalent experience in the intimacy within the couple is detected. On the one hand it is perceived as a threat to individuality, as a "disruption" that destabilizes one's personal project or one's personal couple project, which is constructed without considering the limits and idiosyncrasies the other brings into the relationship. And at the same time, the idea of the couple provides an idealized space of an affective refuge.The conclusions attempt to conceptualize the strategies developed to cope with this ambivalence towards the experience of the couple. There is a continuum that goes from a collective monologue to the experience of intimacy co-constructed, following what Jessica Benjamin (2004) and others have called the space of thirdness. These results provide more evidence supporting the definition of intimacy proposed by Virginia Goldner (2004, 2007), as a process susceptible of breaks and repairs, more than a final state to achieve.

André Green: o pai na teoria e na clínica contemporânea / André Green: the father in contemporary theory and practice / André Green: el padre en la teoría y en la clínica contemporánea

Este texto corresponde à conferência de abertura do colóquio em homenagem a André Green, “O pai na psicanálise contemporânea”, por ocasião da comemoração dos seus oitenta anos. Propõe uma visão panorâmica da obra deste autor, seguindo o fio temático da questão do pai, do Édipo e da terceiridade na teoria e clínica psicanalíticas. Procura historicizar seu pensamento situando-o em relação a J. Lacan e ao movimento pós-lacaniano, finalizando com a elaboração de um novo modelo psicanalítico contemporâneo, contextualizando, assim, suas idéias mais originais. Destacam-se, nesta trajetória, seus estudos sobre as mudanças ocorridas na clínica psicanalítica das estruturas não-neuróticas (complexo da mãe-morta, posição fóbica central), e as suas idéias sobre a terceiridade, a triangularidade aberta com um terceiro substituível e a bi-triangularidade.

This text is the opening lecture of a symposium in honor of André Green, on his 80th birthday: “The Father in contemporary psychoanalysis”. It proposes a panoramic view through this author’s works, following the thematic thread about the question of the father, Oedipus, and thirdness in psychoanalytic theory and practice. It aims at historicizing his thinking relating it with J. Lacan and the post-Lacanian movement, leading to the development of a new contemporary psychoanalytic model, to contextualize his most originals ideas. This overview highlights his study about the changes in psychoanalytic practice with non-neurotic structures (dead mother complex, central phobic position), and his ideas about thirdness, open triangularity with a replaceable third, and bi-triangularity.

Este texto corresponde a la conferencia de apertura del coloquio de homenaje a André Green en ocasión de su 80 años: “El padre en el psicoanálisis contemporáneo”. Propone un recorrido panorámico por la obra de este autor siguiendo el hilo temático de la cuestión del padre, el Edipo y la terceridad en la teoría y en la clínica psicoanalítica. Procura historizar su pensamiento situandolo en relación con J. Lacan y el movimiento poslacaniano, desembocando en la elaboración de un nuevo modelo psicoanalítico contemporáneo, para contextualizar sus ideas más originales. En este recorrido se destaca su estudio de los cambios en la clínica psicoanalítica con estructuras no-neuróticas (complejo de la madre muerta, posición fóbica central), y sus ideas acerca de la terceridad, la triangularidad abierta con tercero substituible y la bi-triangularidad.
