ABSTRACT

Objective To study the clinical effect of zinc gluconate combined with tetralogy of viable bifidobacterium tablets in the treatment of infantile autumn diarrhea .Methods 76 children with diarrhea in Lishui Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from September to November in 2014 and from September to November in 2015 were selected as research subjects .All patients were randomly divided into control group ( n=38 ) and observa-tion group(n=38) by registration order.The control group was given tetralogy of viable bifidobacterium tablets ,while the observation group was given zinc gluconate combined with tetralogy of viable bifidobacterium tablets .The disappea-ring time of disease and the clinical symptoms after treatment for 72 h were compared between the two groups . Results The disappearing time of fever in the observation groupwas (28.81 ±5.72) h,which in the control group was (41.67 ±7.91)h,the difference was statistically significant between the two groups (t=10.358,P=0.011).The disappearing time of abdominal distension in the observation group was (40.28 ±7.96)h,which in the control group was (52.35 ±11.54)h,the difference was statistically significant between the two groups (t=7.334,P=0.021).The disappearing time of emesis in the observation groupwas (35.71 ±10.37)h,which in the control group was (50.66 ± 12.89)h,the difference was statistically significant between the two groups (t=9.214,P=0.017).The total effective rate of the observation group was 97.37%,which was higher than 81.58% of the control group (χ2 =15.240,P<0.05 ) .In addition ,no complication was observed during the treatment .Conclusion The combination therapy of zinc gluconate and tetralogy of viable bifidobacterium tablets for infantile autumn diarrhea has high efficacy ,less adverse reaction,short therapy time ,and it has clinical value .

ABSTRACT

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of entecavir combined with triple viable bifidobacterium capsules in the treatment of patients with cirrhosis induced by chronic hepatitis B.Methods:Totally 86 chronic hepatitis B patients with cirrhosis were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 43 ones in each.The control group was given entecavir treatment,and the observation group was treated with triple viable bifidobacterium capsules additionally.The treatment course was three months.The effect of treatment,changes of liver function(TBiL,AST,ALT,etc.),liver fibrosis level (HA,PCⅢ,LN,etc.)and adverse events were compared between the groups before and after the treatment.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05);the levels of TBiL,AST and ALT decreased in both groups after the treatment (P<0.05),and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05);the levels of HA,PC III and LN decreased in the two groups after the treatment (P<0.05),and those in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05);there were no significant adverse drug reactions in both groups during the treatment course.Conclusion:Entecavir combined with triple viable bifidobacterium capsules in the treatment of patients with cirrhosis induced by chronic hepatitis B exhibits significant clinical efficacy,which can improve liver function and liver fibrosis with promising safety and without significant adverse reactions.

ABSTRACT

Objective To study the clinical efficacy of viable bifidobacterium combined with montmorillonite powder in the treatment of infantile diarrhea.Methods 100 patients with infantile diarrhea disease were randomly divided into control group and observation group,50 cases in each group.The control group was given montmorillonitc powder treatment,while the observation group was added viable bifidobacterium treatment based on control group.Effi-cacy,serum C reactive protein (CRP)level,clinical symptom improvement time and adverse reactions rate were com-pared between two groups.Results The total effective rates of clinical treatment in the control group and observation group were 78%(39 /50)and 96%(48 /50)(P1 =0.026).After treatment,the treatment time,diarrhea stopping time,body temperature returned to normal,frequency of defecate recovery time,shape of defecate recovery time and scrum CRP levels in the control group were (8.73 ±1.92)d,(2.32 ±0.85)d,(27.53 ±7.24)h,(2.52 ±0.85)d, (3.62 ±1.23)d and (13.63 ±2.15)mg/L,which in observation group were (6.15 ±1.26)d,(1.53 ±0.62)d, (19.65 ±5.71)h,(1.75 ±0.76)d,(2.56 ±0.85)d and (7.52 ±1.26)mg/L.The observation group were better than the control group (P2 =0.026,P3 =0.018,P4 =0.021,P5 =0.012,P6 =0.031,P10 =0.002).The incidence of adverse reactions between two groups had no obvious difference.Conclusion Viable bifidobacterium combined with montmorillonite powder can effectively treat infantile diarrhea,with advantages of significant clinical efficacy,quickly recovery of clinical symptoms,rapidly reduce of CRP level,and low adverse reactions,it is worthy of promotion.

ABSTRACT

Objective To compare the effect between Saccharomyces boulardii sachets and tetragenous viable bifidobacterium tablets in the treatment of rotaviral gastroenteritis of children .Methods A total of 191 patients (below 2 months to 8 years old) with rotaviral gastroenteritis admitted to this hospital from January 2012 to May 2014 were divided randomly into control groups (smectite ,conventional treatment ,number=62) ,tetragenous viable bifidobacterium tablets group (conventional treatment combined with tetragenous viable bifidobacterium tablets ,number= 64) ,saccharomyces boulardii group (conventional treatment combined with saccharomyces boulardii ,number=65) .Therapeutic effects were compared between 3 groups after 3 days and 5 days of treat‐ment .Results The obvious curative rate ,effective ratio and total rate in the groups of saccharomyces boulardii and tetragenous via‐ble bifidobacterium tablets were higher than those in the control group(P0 .05) .There was significant difference in 3 days and 5 days therapeutic effect among 3 groups (P<0 .05) .The duration of diarrhea in the group of Saccharomyces boulardii was lower than this in the group of tetragenous viable bifidobacterium tablets (P<0 .05) .Conclusion The therapeutic effect of Saccharomyces boulardii is similar to that of tetragenous viable bifidobacterium tablets in treatment of children with Rotaviral gastroenteritis .The duration of diarrhea in the group of Sac‐charomyces boulardii was lower than that of the group of tetragenous viable bifidobacterium tablets .
