ABSTRACT

Los sesgos cognitivos son un constructo que acuñaron Kahneman & Tveysky (1972) en su Enfoque de Sesgos dentro de la Psicología Cognitiva. Estos son atajos intelectuales que realizan siempre las personas, desde un razonamiento probabilístico intuitivo. El presente trabajo es una primera aproximación que intenta aplicar y describir algunos sesgos cognitivos en el complejo mundo de las representaciones mentales en la experiencia dolorosa, como la ilusión de control; del presente; la confirmación; representatividad; disponibilidad, entre otros. Los sesgos en dolor nos permiten comprender el procesamiento de información frente al dolor y utilizar estrategias comunicacionales más efectivas para su abordaje.


Cognitive biases are a construct coined by Kahneman & Tveysky (1972) in their Approach to Biases in Cognitive Psychology. These are intellectual shortcuts that people always carry out, from an intuitive probabilistic reasoning. An attempt is made to apply and describe some cognitive biases in the complex world of mental representations in the painful experience, like the illusion of control; of the present; the confirmation; representativeness; availability among others. Biases in pain allow us to understand the processing of information in the face of pain and use more effective communication strategies to address it.

ABSTRACT

A recuperação de vítimas de queimaduras é longa e dolorosa e afeta diversas esferas da vida do paciente. A resiliência, que se refere à capacidade humana de enfrentar e se adaptar a eventos adversos, exerce grande importância no processo de recuperação da queimadura. Logo, este trabalho objetiva avaliar a capacidade de resiliência de pacientes queimados, no momento da admissão e da alta hospitalar, em um hospital de emergência e urgência de Goiânia. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, quantitativo e transversal que utiliza a Escala de Resiliência de Connor-Davidson (CD-RISC) como instrumento de mensuração. Na admissão hospitalar, a média da resiliência foi de 71,35, tendo sido observada uma relação significativa entre o fator Amparo da escala CD-RISC e a presença do(a) companheiro(a). O escore de resiliência encontrado nesta pesquisa é consistente com outros achados da literatura científica internacional e nacional referente à expressão da resiliência em vítimas de queimaduras e outros adoecimentos. A relação entre o fator Amparo e a presença de um(a) companheiro(a) enfatiza a importância da rede de apoio familiar na reabilitação do paciente queimado.(AU)


The recovery of burned patients is long and painful and impacts on different areas of people's lives. Resilience, which refers to the human capacity to face and adapt to adverse events, plays a major role in the process of recovery from burns. Therefore, the present study aims to assess the resilience of burned patients, on admission and hospital discharge, in an emergency and urgency hospital in Goiânia. This is a descriptive, quantitative and cross-sectional study that uses the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD RISC) as a measuring instrument. At hospital admission, the mean resilience was 71.35, with a significant association between the Support factor on the CD RISC scale and the presence of a partner. The resilience score found in the present study is consistent with other findings in the international and national scientific literature regarding the expression of resilience in victims of burns and other illnesses. The relationship between the Support factor and the presence of a partner emphasizes the importance of the family support network in the rehabilitation of the burned patient.(AU)


La recuperación de los pacientes quemados es larga y dolorosa e impacta en diferentes esferas de la vida de las personas. La resiliencia, que se refiere a la capacidad humana para enfrentar y adaptarse a eventos adversos, juega un papel importante en el proceso de recuperación de las quemaduras. Por tanto, el presente estudio tiene como objetivo evaluar la resiliencia de los pacientes quemados, en el momento del ingreso y el alta, en un hospital de emergencia y urgencia en Goiânia. Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, cuantitativo y transversal que utiliza la Escala de Resiliencia Connor-Davidson (CD RISC) como instrumento de medida. Al ingreso hospitalario, la resiliencia media fue de 71,35, con associación significativa entre el factor Amparo de la escala CD RISC y la presencia de pareja. El puntaje de resiliencia encontrado en el presente estudio es consistente con otros hallazgos en la literatura científica nacional e internacional sobre la expresión de resiliencia en víctimas de quemaduras y otras enfermedades. La relación entre el factor Amparo y la presencia de pareja enfatiza la importancia de la red de apoyo familiar en la rehabilitación del paciente quemado.(AU)

ABSTRACT

Esta é uma pesquisa qualitativa, em formato de ensaio, que realiza o estudo comparado de duas obras literárias, de A. Von Chamisso e E. T. A. Hoffmann, e de uma anotação do diário deste último para problematizar a repercussão de algumas formas de desestabilizações do Eu na dinâmica psíquica da neurose. O foco dos textos referidos está no fenômeno do duplo na sua forma negativizada, isto é, como o desaparecimento da imagem exterior que dá suporte ao Eu. As ausências da sombra e do reflexo são entendidas como representações metafóricas de uma alteração do Eu que engendra repercussões importantes na homeostase psíquica, sobretudo nas relações sociais de troca. Explora-se daí a menção no diário de Hoffmann de instrumentos ópticos para interrogar o uso desses aparelhos como modelos metapsicológicos na psicanálise. Salienta-se, ainda, a participação de processos de natureza estética na dinâmica psíquica do infamiliar, tomando como referência a ligação entre o conto de Hoffmann e o relato de Stendhal sobre a sua estadia em Florença.(AU)


This is a qualitative research, in essay format, which performs the comparative study of two literary works, by A. Von Chamisso and E. T. A. Hoffmann, and an annotation in the latter's diary to problematize the repercussion of some forms of destabilization of the Ego's in the psychic dynamics of neurosis. The focus of the referred texts is on the phenomenon of the double in its negative form, that is, as the disappearance of the outer image that supports the Ego. The absences of the shadow and the reflection are understood as metaphorical representations of an alteration of the Ego that generates important repercussions on psychic homeostasis, above all in social relationships of exchange. Thus, we analyze the mention of optical instruments in Hoffmann's diary to question the use of these devices as metapsychological models in psychoanalysis. Note, also, the participation of processes of aesthetic nature in the psychic dynamics of the uncanny, taking as reference the connection between Hoffmann's short story and Stendhal's account of his stay in Florence.(AU)


Este ensayo cualitativo realiza un estudio comparativo de dos obras literarias de A. Von Chamisso y de E. T. A. Hoffmann, junto con una anotación en el diario de este último para problematizar la repercusión de algunas formas de desestabilizaciones de la función del Yo en la dinámica psíquica de la neurosis. Los textos se centran en el fenómeno del doble en su forma negativa, como la desaparición de la imagen exterior que sostiene el Yo. Se entienden las ausencias de la penumbra y el reflejo como una representación metafórica de una alteración de la función del Yo que genera importantes repercusiones en la regulación psíquica, sobre todo en las relaciones de intercambio social. Se analiza la presencia en el diario de Hoffmann de instrumentos ópticos para discutir el uso de estos dispositivos como modelos metapsicológicos en psicoanálisis. Se destaca la reverberación de procesos de naturaleza estética en la dinámica psíquica de lo ominoso, tomando como referencia la conexión entre el cuento de Hoffmann y el relato de Stendhal sobre su estancia en Florencia.(AU)

Resumen: 1] La neurociencia de la ética constituye un progreso al aplicar la ciencia empírica en la investigación del fenómeno moral. 2] Resaltar la importancia de afectos y sentimientos representa una compensación a la excesiva importancia dada a la razón en la formación de los juicios morales. 3] Existen graves dificultades metodológicas al no precisar los conceptos de "intuición", "afectos", "deber" y especialmente qué se entiende por "ética". 4] Pero la investigación científica aprehende al hombre como una "entidad" en sí (presente) y no como una "existencia" (futuro), vale decir, ser-en-el-mundo. 5] En lugar de "tener" una moral el ser humano "es" moral y, como tal, es un proyecto lanzado hacia su más auténtica posibilidad que consiste en apropiarse de su ser-para-la-muerte.


Abstract: 1] The Neuroscience of Ethics constitutes a progress when applying empirical science in the investigation of the moral phenomenon. 2] Emphasizing the importance of affects and feelings represents a compensation for the excessive importance given to reason in the formation of moral judgments. 3] There are serious methodological difficulties by not specifying the concepts of intuition, affections, duty and especially what is understood by ethics. 4] But scientific research apprehends man as an "entity" in himself (present) and not as an "existence" (future), that is, being-in-the-world. 5] Instead of "having" a moral, the human being "is" moral and as such is a project thrown towards its most authentic possibility that consists of appropriating its being-for-death.

Neste ensaio autoral, a experiência de descobrir e habitar uma linguagem inusitada e aberta a ressonâncias emocionais na clínica psicanalítica é apresentada em diferentes camadas textuais. O estilo da prosa poética convida à experiência de aproximação com a alteridade, emulando-se no próprio ato da leitura o objeto que se apresenta analiticamente como uma linguagem de reconhecimento.


In this authorial essay, the experience of discovering and inhabiting an unusual language open to emotional resonances in the psychoanalytic clinical practice is presented in different textual layers. The poetic prose style invites the experience of approximation with otherness, emulating in the very act of reading the object that presents itself analytically as a language of recognition.


En este ensayo de autor, la experiencia de descubrir y habitar un lenguaje inusual abierto a resonancias emocionales en la práctica clínica psicoanalítica se presenta en diferentes capas textuales. El estilo de la prosa poética invita a la experiencia de aproximación con la alteridad, emulando en el acto mismo de leer el objeto que se presenta analíticamente como un lenguaje de reconocimiento.


Dans cet essai d'auteur, l'expérience de découvrir et d'habiter un langage inhabituel ouvert aux résonances émotionnelles dans la clinique psychanalytique est présentée dans différentes couches textuelles. Le style de la prose poétique invite à l'expérience du rapprochement avec l'altérité, émulant dans l'acte même de lire l'objet qui se présente analytiquement comme un langage de reconnaissance.

ABSTRACT

Objective: To report on an investigation of requirements, with focus on Psychological and Intuition Requirements (PIRs), to make adoption of Electronic Health Records (EHRs) more encompassing and expeditious. Methods: The investigation collected EHR features from the literature, commercially available EHR software and proposed EHR standards. By using a mix of a modified Delphi method, a questionnaire-based survey, and interviews with EHR developers and usage stakeholders, the investigation: 1) classified requirements of EHRs; 2) ranked resulting classes by their importance for EHR adoption; and, 3) analysed whether PIRs were in the most important classes. Results: Ten EHR requirements classes were elicited and had different concentrations of PIRs. PIRs were proven useful for EHR adoption, but standards should be also reinforced. Functional requirements had smaller importance. Conclusion: PIRs from security and ease of use classes should have higher priority in EHR development, maintenance, and evolution to ease adoption.


Objetivo: Relatar sobre investigação de requisitos, com foco em Requisitos Psicológicos e Intuitivos (RPIs), para aumentar e acelerar a adoção de Prontuários Eletrônicos de Paciente (PEP). Métodos: A investigação coletou características PEP da literatura, software PEP comercial e padrões PEP. Combinando um método Delphi modificado a uma pesquisa com questionário e entrevistas com desenvolvedores e outras partes interessadas em PEP, a investigação: 1) classificou requisitos PEP; 2) ordenou as classes resultantes por importância para adoção de PEP; e 3) analisou se os RPIs estavam nas classes mais importantes. Resultados: Dez classes de requisitos PEP foram extraídas e tiveram diferentes concentrações de RPIs. Os RPIs se mostraram úteis para a adoção de PEP, mas deve-se também, reforçar padrões. Os requisitos funcionais tiveram menor importância. Conclusão: RPIs das classes de segurança e facilidade de uso devem ser priorizados no desenvolvimento, manutenção e evolução de PEP para facilitar adoção.


Objetivo: Informar sobre la investigación de requisitos, con enfoque en Requisitos Psicológicos y Intuitivos (RPIs), para aumentar y acelerar la adopción del Registro Electrónico de Pacientes (REP). Métodos: La investigación recolectó características REPs de la literatura, software comercial y estándares REPs. Combinando un método Delphi modificado con un cuestionario y entrevistas con desarrolladores y otras partes interesadas en REPs, la investigación: 1) clasificó requisitos REP; 2) clasificó las clases resultantes por importancia para adopción de REPs; y 3) analizó si RPIs estaban en las clases más importantes. Resultados: Se obtuvieron diez clases de requisitos REPs y tuvieron diferentes concentraciones de RPIs. RPIs han demostrado ser útiles para la adopción de REPs, pero los estándares también deben ser reforzados. Los requisitos funcionales fueron menos importantes. Conclusión: RPIs de las clases de seguridad y facilidad de uso deben priorizarse en el desarrollo, mantenimiento y evolución de REPs para aumentar la adopción.

Decorridas várias décadas desde as suas publicações, os sentidos originais de alguns trabalhos psicanalíticos clássicos se perdem em meio às culturas contemporâneas e, eventualmente, fica escotomizada a conexão consciente entre a ideia e seu autor. Sabina Spielrein e Helene Deutsch, pioneiras, possuem em comum o fato de terem desenvolvido, a seu tempo, conceitos fundamentais à psicanálise, apesar de serem, atualmente, pouco lidas e estudadas. Spielrein, entre outras significativas contribuições, propõe, em 1912, a noção de pulsão destrutiva, fagulha inspiradora para Freud desenvolver a dualidade das pulsões em 1920. Deutsch, em 1926, dentre outras formulações originais, elabora o conceito de intuição e de distintas modalidades identificatórias na relação terapêutica, as quais contêm a essência da classificação contratransferencial desenvolvida por Racker na década de 1960, muito marcante na América Latina. Spielrein e Deutsch compartilham, sob vértices distintos, a compreensão da mente humana através de um viés dual, e enfatizam a primitiva interação entre sujeito e objeto, reeditada na transferência, podendo ser consideradas precursoras da abordagem intersubjetiva em psicanálise. A revisão do percurso pessoal e da produção psicanalítica dessas pioneiras, neste trabalho, pretende fazer jus à riqueza conceitual legada por ambas, além de destacar a importância, em geral, da leitura dos trabalhos clássicos originais como salutar fonte de inspiração, em busca por coerência e veracidade científicas (AU)


Several decades after the publication of some classical psychoanalytic studies, their original meaning gets lost in contemporary cultures and the conscious connection between original idea and author is often scotomized. Pioneers Sabina Spielrein and Helene Deutsch have both developed fundamental concepts of psychoanalysis in their time and are currently poorly read and studied. Among some other significant contributions, in 1912 Spielrein puts forward the notion of destructive drive, an inspiring spark for Freud to develop the duality of drives, in 1920. In 1926, among other original formulations, Deutsch develops the concept of intuition and identificatory modalities in therapeutic relations, which contains the essence of Racker's countertransference classification, designed in the 1960s, greatly remarkable in Latin America. In this study, the author points out that both psychoanalysts share ­ under different angles ­ an understanding of the human mind through a dual bias, emphasizing the primitive interaction between subject and object, rearranged in transference, which is why she regards them as the originators of intersubjectivity. A review of these pioneers' personal journey and psychoanalytic production intends to do justice to the conceptual legacy they both bequeathed and to underline the overall importance of reading original classical studies as a salutary source of inspiration in the pursuit of scientific consistency and accuracy (AU)


Transcurridas varias décadas desde sus publicaciones, el sentido original de algunos trabajos psicoanalíticos clásicos se pierde en medio a las culturas contemporáneas y, eventualmente, permanece escotomizada la conexión consciente entre la idea original y su autor. Sabina Spielrein y Helene Deutsch, pioneras, tienen en común el hecho de haber desarrollado conceptos fundamentales al psicoanálisis, a su tiempo, y ser, actualmente, poco leídas y estudiadas. Spielrein, entre otras significativas contribuciones, propone, en 1912 la noción de pulsión destructiva, chispa inspiradora para que Freud desarrollara la dualidad de las pulsiones, en 1920. Deutsch, en 1926, en medio a otras formulaciones originales, desarrolla el concepto de intuición y modalidades identificatorias en la relación terapéutica, las cuales contienen la esencia de la clasificación contra-transferencial desarrollada por Racker en la década de 1960, muy distintivo en América Latina. En este trabajo, la autora destaca que ambas psicoanalistas comparten, bajo vértices distintos, la comprensión de la mente humana a través de un sesgo dual y enfatizan la primitiva interacción entre sujeto y objeto, reeditada en la transferencia, en lo que las considera precursoras de la intersubjetividad. La revisión del recorrido personal y de la producción psicoanalítica de esas pioneras pretende hacer justo a la riqueza conceptual que ambas legaron, además de destacar la importancia, en general, de la lectura de los trabajos clásicos originales, como conveniente fuente de inspiración, y en busca por coherencia y veracidad científicas (AU)

ABSTRACT

"Os povos mais antigos localizavam a alma, vitalidade, poder e um demônio ou gênio (espírito divino), na cabeça" (Martins, 2012, p. 340). Só recentemente, na era científica, a cabeça passou a representar a razão. A cabeça, símbolo de poder e força, atributos comumente considerados masculinos, é apresentada neste trabalho como possível elemento da função feminina, independentemente do gênero, sob o vértice da contenção, mediação, intuição e proteção. Para tanto, a autora se vale do mito da Medusa para fazer o reconhecimento, ampliação e apreensão desses elementos, com base nessa figura mítica, monstro feminino de olhar terrível, que transformava em pedra quem a mirasse. Encontra significados no material clínico apresentado e aponta o mistério e a ambiguidade vividos pelo homem e pela mulher, ao encarar o feminino em si mesmo.


« Les peuples les plus âgés ont localisé l’âme, la vitalité, le pouvoir et un démon ou génie (esprit divin), dans la tête ¼ (Martins, 2012, p. 340). Ce n’est que récemment, à l’ère scientifique, que la tête est venue représenter la raison. Ainsi, la tête, symbole de puissance et de force, attributs communément considérés comme masculins, est présentée dans cet ouvrage comme un élément possible de la fonction féminine, sans distinction de sexe, sous le sommet de l’endiguement, de la médiation, de l’intuition et de la protection. À cette fin, l’auteur utilise le mythe de la Méduse pour reconnaître, développer et appréhender ces éléments, sur la base de cette figure mythique, un monstre féminin à l’air terrible qui a transformé la pierre en vue. Il trouve des significations dans le matériel clinique présenté et souligne le mystère et l’ambiguïté vécus par les hommes et les femmes face au féminin en soi.

ABSTRACT

Resumo O presente estudo objetivou investigar os processos de insight em sujeitos com Transtorno de Asperger (TA). Entende-se por insight o conhecimento do próprio diagnóstico e os sentidos construídos a partir deste. O desenvolvimento doinsight é aqui compreendido não como função restrita à vida mental pessoal, mas como fenômeno intersubjetivo, forjado nas relações sociais. O arcabouço teórico que subsidia a presente pesquisa é a perspectiva genética de desenvolvimento avançada pela psicologia histórico-cultural. Para tanto, foram propostas a três díades de pais e adolescentes diagnosticados com TA duas tarefas de produção narrativa que investigaram aspectos relacionados às experiências Asperger. Os resultados sugerem que a característica central dos processos de insight no TA pode ser descrita como disrupção na transição do modo monológico para o modo dialógico de pensamento. Acredita-se que os resultados aqui encontrados contribuem para a compreensão da singularidade e eventicidade da existência e da experiência subjetiva.


Resumen El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo investigar los procesos de insight en sujetos con trastorno de Asperger (TA). Insight significa el conocimiento del diagnóstico mismo y los significados construidos a partir de él. El desarrollo del insight se entiende aquí no como una función restringida a la vida mental personal, sino como un fenómeno intersubjetivo, forjado en las relaciones sociales. El marco teórico que sustenta esta investigación es la perspectiva genética del desarrollo que adelanta la psicología histórico-cultural. Para ello, a tres díadas de padres y adolescentes diagnosticados de TA se les ofrecieron dos tareas de producción narrativa que investigaban aspectos relacionados con las experiencias de Asperger. Los resultados sugieren que la característica central de los procesos de insight en TA puede describirse como una interrupción en la transición del modo de pensamiento monológico al dialógico. Se cree que los resultados encontrados aquí contribuyen a la comprensión de la singularidad y la eventualidad de la existencia y la experiencia subjetiva.


Abstract The present article aimed to investigate insight processes in people with Asperger disorder. Insight is understood as the knowledge of one's own diagnosis and the senses built from it. The insight development is understood here not as a function of personal psychological life, but as an intersubjective phenomenon, forged in social relations. The theoretical framework that subsidizes this research is the genetic perspective of development advanced by cultural-historical psychology. For this purpose, two tasks of narrative production were proposed to three dyads of parents and teenagers with AD, which investigated aspects related to Asperger experiences. The results suggest that the central characteristic of insight processes in AD can be described as a disruption in the transition of a thinking monologic mode to a thinking dialogic mode. It is believed that the results here found contribute to the comprehension of singularity and occurrence of subjective experience and existence.

ABSTRACT

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study was to construct and test a hypothetical model of clinical decision-making ability of nurses based on the Decision Making Process model and the Cognitive Continuum theory. METHODS: The data were collected from nurses working at 11 hospitals in Busan, Daejeon, and South Gyeongsang Province from June 30 to August 1, 2017. Finally, the data from 323 nurses were analyzed. RESULTS: The goodness-of-fit of the final model was at a good level (χ²/df=2.46, GFI=.87, AGFI=.84, IFI=.90, CFI=.90, SRMR=.07, RMSEA=.07) and 6 out of 10 paths of the model were supported. The clinical decision-making ability was both directly and indirectly affected by task complexity and indirectly affected by experiences, autonomy, and work environment. Specifically, it was strongly directly affected by analytical competency but was insignificantly affected by intuitive competency. These variables accounted for 66.0% of clinical decision-making ability. CONCLUSION: The nurses' clinical decision-making ability can be improved by improving their analytical competency. Therefore, it is necessary to organize nursing work, create a supportive work environment, and develop and implement various education programs.

Resumo Uma crítica comum encontrada em manuais e livros didáticos de psicologia é que a análise do comportamento não seria capaz de explicar fenômenos psicológicos complexos. Estes seriam melhor abordados por explicações cognitivistas baseadas em mecanismos internos ao organismo. Este ensaio tem como objetivo avaliar a pertinência dessa crítica à luz de exemplos da literatura analítico-comportamental. A partir da análise de pesquisas que tratam de formação de self, insight e linguagem, argumenta-se que a "complexidade" foi importada para os laboratórios de análise do comportamento, assim como floresceu em diversas linhas de pesquisa de tradição behaviorista radical. Em adição, são discutidos cinco significados possíveis dados à "complexidade" extraídos da literatura consultada. Conclui-se que não há significado útil do termo e que, por essa razão, talvez seja pertinente abandoná-lo como critério de classificação de comportamentos. Como consequência, "comportamento complexo" seria simplesmente "comportamento" e nada mais.


Résumé Une critique généralement trouvée dans les manuels et les livres de psychologie est que l'analyse de comportement ne serait pas capable d'expliquer les phénomènes psychologiques complexes. Ceux-ci seraient mieux abordées par des explications cognitives basées sur des mécanismes internes à l'organisme. Cet article vise à discuter la pertinence de cette critique à la lumière d'exemples de la littérature sur l'analyse de comportement. En analysant la recherche sur la formation du "self", "Insight" et du langage, on soutient que la "complexité" a été importé pour les laboratoires d'analyse comportementale, mais a aussi prospéré dans des nombreux domaines de recherche de la tradition béhavioriste radical. En outre, cinq significations possibles de "complexité" extraites de la littérature consultée sont discutés. On conclut qu'il n'y a pas de sens utile à ce terme et que, par conséquent, il peut être abandonné en tant que critère de classification des comportements. En conséquence, "comportement complexe" serait tout simplement "comportement" et rien de plus.

A partir de investigaciones acerca del "self", "insight" y lenguaje, se argumenta que se importó la "complejidad" tanto para los laboratorios de análisis del comportamiento, como también floreció en varias líneas de investigación en la tradición conductista radical. Además, se discuten cinco posibles significados al término "complejidad". Llegamos a la conclusión de que no hay un significado útil y que, por esto, se puede abandonarlo como criterio de clasificación de comportamientos. Como resultado, "comportamiento complejo" haría simplemente "comportamiento" y nada más.


Abstract A criticism usually found in Psychology textbooks and manuals is that Behavior Analysis would not be able to explain complex psychological phenomena. These would be better approached by cognitivist explanations based on mechanisms internal to the organism. This study aims to discuss the relevance of this criticism in light of examples gathered from behavior-analytic literature. By analyzing researches about the formation of "self", "insight" and language, we argue that "complexity" was imported to behavior-analytic laboratories as well as it flourished in numerous fields of research of radical behaviorism tradition. Additionally, five meanings of "complexity" extracted from the consulted literature are discussed. It is concluded that there is no useful meaning to this term and, for that reason, it can be abandoned as a criterion for classifying behaviors. As a consequence, "complex behavior" should be viewed only as "behavior" and nothing else.

Este artigo pretende tratar da visão simples do ser como fonte e horizonte da doutrina das categorias, que Heidegger tinha em vista, ao tratar, em sua tese de habilitação, da doutrina das significações na Gramática Especulativa, então atribuída a Duns Scotus. A doutrina das categorias e sua problemática é o foco em que se acende a questão do ser no caminho do pensamento de Heidegger, questão que, sempre, de alguma maneira, vem junto com a questão da essência da linguagem. A descoberta fenomenológica da intuição categorial oferece um aporte importante para encaminhamento do problema das categorias e, assim, para a colocação da questão do ser. A doutrina das categorias, bem como a doutrina medieval dos transcendentais, tem como pressuposto fundamental a doação prévia da ordem universal do ser (o todo do pensável). A doação do ser é primordial. O ente (no seu ser) é o primeiro objeto do intelecto. A simples apreensão do ser, sua concepção, bem como a sua compreensão é o fundamento a partir do qual se pode colocar a questão do seu sentido.


This article intends to deal with the simple vision of being as the source and horizon of the doctrine of the categories, which Heidegger had in mind, when treating in his habilitation thesis, the doctrine of significations in Speculative Grammar, then attributed to Duns Scotus. The doctrine of categories and their problematics is the focus in which the question of being in the path of Heidegger's thinking is raised, an issue which always comes together in some way with the question of the essence of language. The phenomenological discovery of categorial intuition offers an important contribution to the problem of categories, and thus to the questioning of being. The doctrine of categories, as well as the medieval doctrine of the transcendental, has as its fundamental presupposition the prior giving of the universal order of being (the whole of the thinkable). The gift of being is primordial. The being is the first object of the intellect. The simple apprehension of the being, its conception, as well as its comprehension is the foundation from which one can put the question of its meaning.


Este artículo pretende tratar de la visión simple del ser como fuente y horizonte de la doctrina de las categorías, que Heidegger tenía en vista, al tratar, en su tesis de habilitación, de la doctrina de las significaciones en la Gramática Especulativa, entonces atribuida a Duns Escoto. La doctrina de las categorías y su problemática es el punto central que enciende el debate del ser en la línea del pensamiento de Heidegger, cuestión que, siempre, de alguna manera, viene junto con el debate de la esencia del lenguaje. El descubrimiento fenomenológico de la intuición categorial ofrece un aporte importante para encaminar el problema de las categorías y, así, para el planteamiento de la cuestión del ser. La doctrina de las categorías, así como la doctrina medieval de los trascendentales, tiene como presupuesto fundamental la donación previa del orden universal del ser (el todo del pensable). La donación del ser es primordial. El ente (en su ser) es el primer objeto del intelecto. La simple aprehensión del ser, su concepción, así como su comprensión es el fundamento a partir del cual se puede plantear la cuestión de su sentido.

Resumen Delimitar la intuición clínica de Sigmund Freud en el campo de la psicosis implica analizar las consecuencias de lo no analizable de dicha entidad clínica, tal como lo plantea el propio autor. En este trabajo, se delimita y se discute el lugar de garante de la teoría psicoanalítica, ocupado por el psicótico, y se subraya la suposición de un sujeto en las psicosis, en términos de «no querer saber¼. La imposibilidad de transferencia vacila ante el análisis que el propio Freud hace del caso Schreber. La Verwerfung se enlaza a un particular modo de retorno, excluyéndose de la relación biunívoca entre mecanismo y estructura clínica. Se manifiesta la intuición clínica de Freud en el punto donde hace del delirio o de las demás producciones en la psicosis una obra que porta la firma de un autor. Dicho recorrido nos permite sostener la importancia y actualidad del texto freudiano al campo de las psicosis.


Résumé Délimiter l'intuition clinique de Sigmund Freud sur le domaine de la psychose, implique analyser les conséquences du non analysable de cette entité clinique, posé par l'auteur lui-même. La place de garant de la théorie psychanalitique, occupée par le psychotique sera délimitée et constestée. La supposition d'un sujet dans les psychoses sera soulignée en termes de « ne pas vouloir savoir ¼. L'impossibilité de transference tremblera face à l'analyse que Freud lui-même, fait du cas Schreber. La Verwerfung se liera à un mode de retour particulier, en s'excluant de la relation biunivoque entre mécanisme et structure clinique. L'intuition clinique de Freud s'affirmera sur le point où elle fait du délire ou des autres productions dans la psychose, une oeuvre qui porte la signature d'un auteur. Ce parcours nous permettra de soutenir l'importance et l'actualité du texte freudien au domaine de la psychose.

Abstract Defining Sigmund Freud's clinical intuition in the field of psychosis implies analyzing the consequences of the non-analyzable of this clinical entity, as proposed by the author himself. In this work, we define and discuss the place of the guarantor of the psychoanalytic theory, occupied by the psychotic, and emphasize the assumption of a subject in the psychoses, in terms of "not wanting to know." The impossibility of transference hesitates before Freud's own analysis of the Schreber case. The Verwerfung is associated with a particular mode of return, being excluded from the two-way relationship between the mechanism and a clinical structure. Freud's clinical intuition is manifested when he makes delirium or other productions of psychosis an act that bears the mark of an author. This approach allows us to support the importance and timeliness of the Freudian text in the field of psychoses.

ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE: Meditation can elicit trait-like changes in psychological and social styles, as well as enhancement of emotional regulatory capacity. We investigated the relation between personality traits and emotional intelligence in meditation practitioners. METHODS: Seventy-two long-term practitioners of mind-body training (MBT) and 62 healthy comparative individuals participated in the study. The participants completed emotional intelligence questionnaires and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). RESULTS: The MBT group revealed higher scores on all five emotional intelligence factors than did those in the control group, such as emotional awareness and expression, empathy, emotional thinking, emotional application, and emotional regulation (all p≤0.001). MBT practitioners also had higher scores on the intuition of perceiving function (t=−2.635, p=0.010) and on the feeling of the judging function (t=−3.340, p=0.001) of the MBTI compared with those in the control group. Only the MBT group showed a robust relationship with every factor of emotional intelligence and MBTI-defined intuitive styles, indicating that higher scores of emotional intelligence were related to higher scores for intuition. CONCLUSION: Emotional intelligence of meditation practitioners showed notable relationships with some features of personality trait. In-depth associations between emotional intelligence and personality traits would help to foster psychological functions in meditation practitioners.

ABSTRACT

In an era of high technology and low trust, acknowledging and coping with uncertainty is more crucial than ever. Medical uncertainty has been considered an innate feature of medicine and medical practice. An intolerance to uncertainty increases physicians' stress and the effects of burnout and may be a potential threat to patient safety. Understanding medical uncertainty and acquiring proper coping strategies has been regarded to be a core clinical competency for medical graduates and trainees. Integrating intuition and logic and creating a culture that acknowledges medical uncertainty could be suggested ways to teach medical uncertainty. In this article, the authors describe the concepts of medical uncertainty, its influences on physicians and on medical students toward medical decision making, the role of tolerance/intolerance to uncertainty, and proposed strategies to improve coping with medical uncertainty.

ABSTRACT

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality type test book, which is widely used in the field of personal counseling, team organization, school education and research. This study carried out MBTI of 361 medical students in the second grade of premedical course of Keimyung University School of Medicine from 2014 to 2018, and analyzed the data to use them for the students' education. The personality type was mostly distributed to ISTJ, ISTP, ESTP and ESTJ in order among 16 types. According to preference tendency, it was found out that the introverted type was extroverted, the recognition type was intuition type, the thinking type was emotional type, and the recognition type was more distributed than the judgment type. The psychological functions were ST, SF, NF, NT. MBTI type analysis of medical students shows that it is possible to organize members in group activities to improve their ability to understand themselves and understand others in class scenes. In addition, we expect to be able to design for improvement of stress management, conflict management, and communication ability. In the career counseling scene, in addition to the MBTI data analysis, it is expected that it will be possible to recommend a major suitable for the student personality type in parallel with other psychological tests. In addition, we expect to study the preferred field of study, satisfaction with the major in the future research by continuous data accumulation and analysis.

ABSTRACT

PURPOSE: Faculty development (FD) is essential to prepare faculty members to become effective teachers to meet the challenges in medical education. Despite the growth of FD programmes, most evaluations were often conducted using short questionnaires to assess participants’ satisfaction immediately after they attended a programme. Consequently, there were calls for more rigorous evaluations based on observed changes in participants’ behaviours. Hence, this study aims to explore how the FD workshops run by the Centre for Medical Education, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore have impacted behavioural changes in the educators. METHODS: We followed up with the educators at least half a year after they have attended the workshops. With limited literature as reference, we initiated a small-scale case-study research design involving semi-structured interviews with six educators which was triangulated with three focus group discussions with their students. This allowed us to explore behavioural changes among the educators as well as evaluate the feasibility of this research methodology. RESULTS: We identified three emerging categories among the educators: ignorance to awareness, from intuition to confirmation and expansion, and from individualism to community of practice. CONCLUSION: Although FD have placed much emphasis on teaching and learning approaches, we found that the teacher-student interaction or human character components (passionate, willing to sacrifice, are open to feedback) in becoming a good educator are lacking in our FD workshops.

BACKGROUND: The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of nursing student's communication ability, nursing professional intuition and self-esteem on clinical practice satisfaction.METHODS: Descriptive cross sectional study design was used. Data were collected from 223 nursing students using self administered surveys at a university located in a D metropolitan city in Chungcheong area. Data were managed using SPSS 20.0.RESULTS: As a result of regression analysis on clinical practice satisfaction and variables, regression analysis of clinical practice satisfaction and variables revealed that regression model was significant (F=31.80, p < .001). The adjusted coefficient of determination(adj. R2) was .358 and the explanatory power was 35.8%. The most important factors affecting the satisfaction of clinical practice were nursing professional intuition (β .371, p < .001), department satisfaction (β=.251, p < .001), communication ability (β=.166, p=.004), and grade (β=.133, p=.016).CONCLUSION: Nursing students should improve their communication ability, nursing professional intuition and department satisfaction in order to increase the satisfaction of clinical practice.

ABSTRACT

@#<p style="text-align: justify;">Nursing science needs to adopt a paradigm that can be used to apply its knowledge. Notably, how nursing science is applied in nursing practice or education remains confusing. This article aims to discuss the pros and cons of the two ways to implement nursing science, that is, evidence-based practice (including translational research and research utilization) and intuitive nursing. Also, I differentiated evidence-based practice (EBP), translational research (TR), and research utilization (RU). I argued that EBP as the paradigm of choice will be the optimal strategy for the future of nursing science. Adopting EBP improves patient, organizational, and staffing outcomes. While basing clinical decisions on intuition alone may imperil patient's safety due to multiple cognitive biases inherent in our intellectual devices. Combining EBP, TR, RU, and intuitive nursing resulted in a model Consilience in Evidence-based Practice. Implications of the model for nursing practice, education, and research were also discussed.</p>
