RESUMEN

Trichobakin (TBK) is a type I ribosom inactivating protein (RIP) from the plant Trichosanthes sp. BacKan 8-98 (Cucurbitaceae). This study introduces some results of experimental trial of TBK effects in vivo on the ascitic Sarcoma-180 (S-180) cancer cells in Swiss mice. Results: Injection TBK with dose of 40 µg/mice is effective in (1) inhibiting the growth of S-180 cells with rate of 99.9% after 15 days of S-180 cell transplantation, (2) increasing survival of treated mice up to 175% versus controlled mice in the 90 experimental day period

RESUMEN

Adult made IRC white mouse of 21 week age, weighing 22-25 g underwent an operation for removing the liver, which was washed with PBS buffer. Total ARN extracted from clean mouse liver composes of 3 characteristic band 28S, 18S and 5S. Total ARN concentration received was 10Ug/Ul approximatively. Received PCR product is a characteristic band of the size of some 630bp corresponded to the size of mFGF-21. It is a total gene of mFGF-21 with a sequence 100% corresponding to the registered sequence in the gene international data Bank Number NM-020013

RESUMEN

Guinea-pig liver cells primitive culture completed with 1.5-50 ng/ml of hFGF-10 promote the biosynthesis of ADN in these cells. The concentration of 25 ng/ml produces the highest effect in primitive culture of guinea-pig liver cells, the stimuli effect to mytosis of hFGF-10 is equal with hFGF-1 and hFGF-7. Heparin did not manifest any influence to the effect of hFGF-10 on guinea-pig primitive cultured cells

RESUMEN

The expression of HB-EGF (heparine binding epidermal growth factor) in cells of mice increased just after partial level removal in hapatectomy and reached maximal value 3 hours later. TGF-A expression in mice cells after 2/3 hepatectomy reduced in comparing with control in 3 first hours later and increased in 6 hours later
