RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE@#To explore the expression of interleukin-10 (IL-10) in different expressive parts and its relationship with the wound age during cutaneous wound healing in mice.@*METHODS@#Immunohistochemical and morphometrical analysis methods were performed on vital skin wounds.@*RESULTS@#In normal and injury mouse skin IL-10 immunoreactivity was observed in epidermal cells. The expression of IL-10 in epidermal cells was already enhanced since 1-3h after incision, and it returned to lower lever by 24h, but increased again at 48h after injury. IL-10 immunoreactivive cells under epidermis were mainly infiltrating mononuclear cells. Morphometrically, the ratio of the number of infiltrating cells was evaluated. A subsequent increase in the IL-10 positive cells was observed in the granulation tissue beyond the wound and in dermal at 6h after incision, and the maximum ratio was (51.41 +/- 3.12)% in a 72h-old wound. Then the positive cells gradually decreased (29.38 +/- 2.64)%-(5.56 +/- 4.74)% after incision 96-168h.@*CONCLUSIONS@#The expression characteristics of IL-10 in different expressive parts should be related to the wound age and morphometry of different expressive parts may be employed for determining the wound age.

RESUMEN

OBJECTIVE@#To investigate the relationship between the expressive variety of apoptosis-related gene Bcl-2, Fas and the brain injury time during earlier period after cerebral contusion.@*METHODS@#The morphologia feature of brain tissue was observed under microscopy and immunohistochemistry, image analyze technique was applied to detected the expression of Bcl-2 and Fas.@*RESULTS@#Typical apoptotic cells were seen 8 hours after cerebral contusion. The expression of apoptosis-related gene was noted after 30 minutes and keep increase subsequently. The expression of Bcl-2 reached maximum level at 4 hours after brain trauma and then declined.@*CONCLUSION@#Detecting the expression of Bcl-2 and Fas would be of valuable in the distinguishment of promortem and postmortem injury, and the estimation of brain injury time during the earlier period after cerebral contusion.

RESUMEN

The evidence and the feature of apoptosis following tyrauma brain injury(TBI) and the possible mechanisms underlying apoptosis were reviewed. Recently research showed that apoptosis play an important role in TBI, the occurring time and area of apoptosis were found significant differences compared with that of necrosis. The neural cell apoptosis can undergo following many pathways after TBI. In our review, the foreground of apoptosis after TBI research in forensic pathology were also discussed.

RESUMEN

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a mult-effective catokines on the endothelial cells specificly. It promotes the endothelial cells to split multiply proliferate and metastasis. It increases vascular permeability and accelerates new vascular generation. VEGF participates many physiological and pathological processes. It has achieved more clinical application and will have extensive applicative prospect.

RESUMEN

Misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis are common in forensic appraisal of orbital fracture. Now imaging technology is very important for studying the forensic features of orbital fracture and evaluating the degree of injury. This article reviews the classification, pathogenesis and imaging diagnosis of orbital fracture. It may do some help to forensic appraisal of orbital fracture.
