RESUMEN
The chemical composition of Rhizoma Polygonati (RP) after processing was investigated. The result: All 4 process methods also procedure products no causing itch, black, sweet, soft, plastic. The chemical composition of unrefined Rhizoma Polygonati contained Alcaloid, Flavonoid, Sterol, Sugar, Iridoid glycosid, Amino acid and Fat. On the thin layer chromatograph, total alcaloid of Rhizoma Polygonati processed by a way had 4 spots, total flanoid had 4 spots, 1 spots of them cleare blue. The total sugar content of Rhizoma Polygonati processed by a way is 33,4% and of unrefined Rhizoma Polygonati is 12,63%. Both unrefined RP and processed RP also have 17 acid amin, among 7 essential acid amin for the body. The content of this acid amin of processed sample is usually higher than of unrefined sample

Fresh, directly roasted and sand-roasted samples of the radix of ophlogogon contain also saponosids, flavonoids, aminoacides, carotenoids, sugars, fats. They are no significant differences. In decoction 1:1 form, ophlogogon with the dose of 2,5gr/kg of body weight manifests the inhibition of cough reflexe similar to terpine-codeine preparation;with the dose of 10mg /kg bd, no effect of phlegm clearing is manifested

The remedy consisting of these medicinal herbs: Lactusa indica, Pouzolzia zeylanica, Phyllanthus urinaria with the equivalent amounts were used to treat zona. Remedy concentrated decoction2:1 and ethanol extract 6:1 given orally have exhibited acute anti-inflammatory effect with doses6g, 10g, and 20g/kg body weight by 27.64-56.77%. The effect of ethanol extract is stronger than decoction. With the dose 10-20g/kg given orally, the effect is nearly equivalent to the dose 15 mg indomethacine. The remedy was not toxic to the skin
