RESUMEN

Abstract INTRODUCTION: Quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) can detect the severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) in a highly specific manner. However, a decrease in the specificity of PCR assays for their targets may lead to false negative results. METHODS: Here, 177 high-coverage complete SARS-CoV-2 genome sequences from 13 Brazilian states were aligned with 15 WHO recommended PCR assays. RESULTS: Only 3 of the 15 completely aligned to all Brazilian sequences. Ten assays had mismatches in up to 3 sequences and two in many sequences. CONCLUSION: These results should be taken into consideration when using PCR-based diagnostics in Brazil.

RESUMEN

Abstract The aim of this research was to study the planning of the execution of the Tower of Hanoï task (TOH) through gesture and speech. The effects of age and task complexity on gestures-speech mismatches were analyzed in 144 participants (48 children from 8 to 10 years old, 48 adolescents from 12 to 14 years old, and 48 adults from 18 to 20 years old) during their early explanations of the solution to the problem of the TOH. Results suggested effects from task complexity but not from age. Gesture-speech mismatches could be a possible way to analyze early explanations of the tasks, and the level of difficulty could be considered as a developmental indicator. The question of the relationship between gestures and speech during the planning of complex problems is in fact at the center of a passionate debate on the close relationship between thought and language. It is also at the heart of research on multimodal communication and thinking, according to which human cognition is based on verbal and nonverbal aspects of communicative behavior.


Resumen El objetivo de esta investigación fue estudiar la planificación de la ejecución de la tarea de la Torre de Hanoi (TOH) a través de los gestos y la palabra. Se analizaron los efectos de la edad y la complejidad de la tarea en las discordancias gestos-palabras en 144 participantes (48 niños de 8 a 10 años, 48 ​​adolescentes de 12 a 14 años y 48 adultos de 18 a 20 años) durante sus explicaciones anticipadas a la resolución de TOH. Los resultados sugieren efectos de la complejidad de la tarea, pero no de la edad. Las discordancias gestos-palabras podrían constituirse en una manera posible de analizar explicaciones anticipadas a la resolución efectiva de las tareas, y el nivel de dificultad podría ser considerado como un indicador de desarrollo. La pregunta de la relación entre los gestos y las palabras durante la planificación de problemas complejos es, de hecho, el centro de un apasionado debate sobre la estrecha relación entre pensamiento y lenguaje. También está en el centro de la investigación sobre la comunicación y el pensamiento multimodales, según la cual la cognición humana se basa en los aspectos verbales y no verbales del comportamiento comunicativo.

RESUMEN

A simple,fast and highly sensitive fluorescence analysis method for detection of mercury ion was developed based on N-methyl-mesoporphyrin IX (NMM)/G-quadruplex DNA system and specific T-Hg-T mismatches.In this strategy,a large number of thymine was introduced into guanine-rich oigonucleotides which could form G-quadruplex.In the presence of Hg2+,guanine-rich oigonucleotides and complementary strand could form double-stranded DNA molecule by specific T-Hg-T mismatch pair,leading to destruction of G-quadruplex DNA structure.In the absence of Hg2+,guanine-rich oigonucleotides spontaneously formed G-quadruplex DNA structure that could bound NMM to generate intense fluorescence.Based on the above facts,a sensitive fluorescence biosensor for determination of Hg2+ was fabricated.And the optimal conditions for Hg2+ determination were as follows:buffer solution pH of 6.7,20 mmol/L KCl and 2.5 μmol/L NMM in buffer and incubation for 2 h.Under the optimal conditions,the fluorescence intensity signal change (F0-F) and the Hg2+ concentration exhibited a linear correlation within 50 nmol/L to 1000 nmol/L range with a low detection limit of 22.8 nmol/L (3σ).The biosensor exhibited good selectivity toward common metal ions.The developed method was successfully employed to detect Hg2+ in tap water with recovery of 106.1%-107.8%.

Esta pesquisa investigou a relação entre o burnout e as fontes organizacionais de desajuste indivíduotrabalho. Cento e noventa profissionais de enfermagem responderam uma escala de burnout e um questionário de fontes organizacionais de desajuste. Foram verificados níveis alto, moderado e baixo de burnout. Evidenciaram-se correlações diretas e significativas entre as fontes de desajuste e os três fatores de burnout. As fontes de desajuste Ausência de Coleguismo, Sobrecarga de Trabalho e Conflito Valores e Práticas Organizacionais revelaram-se preditores significativos para Exaustão Emocional. O fator Desumanização somente foi predito por Sobrecarga de Trabalho. O fator Decepção foi predito por Ausência de Coleguismo e Sobrecarga de Trabalho. A relação entre o burnout e as fontes organizacionais de desajuste foi evidenciada.


This research investigated the relation between burnout and the organizational sources of job-person mismatches. One hundred ninety nursing professionals answered a scale of burnout and one questionnaire of organizational sources of mismatches. High, medium and low levels of burnout were verified. Direct and significant correlations were verified between sources of mismatch and the three factors of burnout. The mismatches sources Absence of Team Spirit, Work Overload and Conflict of Values and Organizational Practices were significant predictors of Emotional Exhaustion. The Dehumanization factor was only predicted by the Work Overload factor. The Deception factor was predicted by the factors Absence of Team Spirit and Work Overload. The relationship between burnout and organizational sources of mismatches was evidenced.
