RESUMEN

Objective To evaluate the application value of Smart Mask technology guiding micro-catheter in place for intracranial aneurysm embolization in endovascular interventional treatment. Methods The DSA data of 61 consecutive patients with unruptured intracranial aneurysm in the Department Neurosurgery,Changhai Hospital, the Second Military Medical University from August 5 to December 20,2016 were collected retrospectively. The conditions of the guildewire catheter reaching the aneurysms and the coil embolization in the Smart Mask technology group (n = 31)and conventional road map group (n = 30)were compared. The observation indexes included the differences in contrast agent dosage, exposure time, and operation time. Results The contrast agent dosage of the Smart Mask technology group and road map technology group were 192 ± 37 and 215 ± 40 ml respectively, the X-ray illumination quantity were 5913 ±1682 and 6975 ±2036 mGy respectively, and the operation time were 2. 62 ± 0. 29 h and 2. 94 ± 0. 35 h respectively. The differences were statistically significant (all P < 0. 05 ). Conclusion Using Smart Mask technology to assist endovascular embolization of intracranial aneurysms can effectively shorten the operation time, reduce the amount of X-ray radiation and contrast agent, and reduce the risk of operation.

RESUMEN

The Committee on Studies of Career Education for Female Physicians set five learning objectives for all physicians to nurture abilities for continuous public participation by women physicians. Next, we discussed the learning objectives corresponding to the learning period and made a road map. Further more, we proposed our new target-based education program and methods for its assessment.

Introduction The PAHO/WHO Initiative for the Integrated Health Service Networks with the objective of contributing to the development of Primary Health Care-based health systems is part of the response to the challenge of fragmentation existing in the Latin American scenario. Objectives Creation and validation of a methodology to diagnose failures in the integration of a health service network, and thus to prepare the way to attain this goal. Methods A developmental research work that allowed creating a methodology to be applied in two stages: one diagnostic and the other as intervention design. The first stage used qualitative techniques to characterize a health service network whereas the second one applied strategic planning techniques to make the design of a Road Map for integration. Both phases were developed in Ecuadorean regions. Results The steps for the creation of the two phases of methodology, the instruments used and the construction of a health service network integration index were presented. Conclusions A methodology for the characterization and evaluation of and the intervention in a health service network was presented in order to improve the levels of integration reached at a given time

RESUMEN

The e-Health created new opportunities and challenges to the traditional health care in Korea by introducing information and communication technology. Many countries have been establishing e-Health vision and goals at the government level, however Korea has been establishing it with uncooperative vision and goals among numerous government offices since 2003. A single e-Health policy from these numerous government offices cannot cover all the aspects of the e-Health, which further hinders development of e-Health in Korea. OBJECTIVE: The objectives of this study were to review e-Health policies in various Government offices of Korea and to discuss the ways of policy integration among them and the role of each office. METHODS: Recent polices of e-Health in the MOHW, MOCIE, MIC, and MOST were reviewed and compared. RESULTS: The related departments in the MOHW, MOCIE, MIC, and MOST have been working on not only traditional health care systems but also e-Health including industrial and technological aspects. However, e-Health policies from these related departments has been only focusing on contents, infrastructure, method, and technology without any collaborative road map for the e-Health. CONCLUSION: There should be a balanced and collaborative strategy among government departments with a close relationship for the development of e-Health in Korea.

RESUMEN

Objective To determine the effect of antigen on the main immunological reaction route of red blood cells and while blood cells. Methods Cancer cells (5?10~6/ml) and/or Bacillus calmette-Guerin(BCG 0.1mg) or yeast cells(5?10~8/ml) were added into 0.2ml of whole blood cells (or 0.2ml of white blood cells) and 0.3ml of fresh plasma (or 0.3ml of NS) treated by citric acid, and incubated for 1h at 37℃. IL-8 level was measured by ELASA. The data could be divided into 4 groups. (1) 0.2ml of antigen (cancer cells or yeast cells or BCG) was added to 0.2ml of whole blood cells and 0.3m plasma. ②0.2ml of NS was added to 0.2ml of whole blood cells and 0.3ml of plasma. ③ 0.2ml of antigen was added to 0.2ml of white blood cells and 0.3ml of plasma. ④ 0.2ml of NS was added to 0.2ml of white blood cells and 0.3ml of plasma. Results Cancer cells, BCG and yeast cells could activate immunological reaction in blood, but could not activate immunological reaction of white blood cells in no plasma group with addition of antigen. The activation Index (2.124?0.860) of IL-8 in the group with addition of whole blood cells and plasma was significantly higher than that (0.390?0.08) in the group with addition of antigen, white blood cells and plasma (P
