RESUMEN

Objective:To investigate the application of alprostadil combined with different doses of mouse nerve growth factor in diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) and its effect on motor and sensory nerve conduction and inflammatory factors. Methods:One hundred and fiftypatients with DPN treated in Beihai People′s Hospital from June 2018 to March 2020 were randomly divided into low-dose group and high-dose group, with 75 cases in each group. On the basis of routine treatment, the low-dose group was given alprostadil + mouse nerve growth factor 18 μg/time, once a day. The high-dose group was given alprostadil+mouse nerve growth factor 30 μg/time, once a day, both two groups were treated for 3 weeks. The curative effect, motor and sensory nerve conduction velocity and inflammatory index tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)interleukin-6 (IL-6), high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), white blood cell count (WBC) and cost-effectiveness analysis, adverse reactions between the two groups were compared. Results:There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between the low dose group and the high dose group ( P>0.05). After 1 and 3 weeks of treatment, the levels ofmotor and sensory nerve conduction velocity and TNF-α, IL-6, hs-CRP and WBC in the two groups has no significant differences ( P>0.05). The cost of each unit effect in the low-dose group was 43.11 Yuan, and the cost of each unit effect in the high-dose group was 57.58 Yuan. The high-dose group was higher than that in the low-dose group, and the high-dose group paid 572.56 Yuan more than the low-dose group for each additional unit effect. There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups ( P>0.05). Conclusions:Alprostadil combined with 18 μg mouse nerve growth factor in the treatment of DPN has a similar improvement effect on clinical symptoms, motor and sensory nerve conduction and inflammatory factors, and has advantages in cost-effectiveness.

RESUMEN

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the effects of acupuncture combined with rat nerve growth factor (NGF) on the cerebral palsy infant rats and the proteins which associated with growth, apoptosis and metabolism.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>Seventy infant rats were selected, Fifty infant rats of which were made the cerebral palsy infant model by the ligation of unilateral carotid artery for cerebral ischemia and oxygen-deficient environment, then the 30 model rats were randomly divided into a model group, a NGF group and a combined group, 10 rats in each group. Twenty infant rats were used in the sham-operated group and the blank control group, 10 rats in each group. The treatment was not given in the blank control group. The rats in the sham-operated group were cut the neck skin and separated the left carotid artery, and then sutured and disinfected the wound. The intraperitoneal injection of NGF (2000 U•kg•d) was used in the NGF group. Based on the injection in the NGF group, acupuncture was used in the combined group, once a day, and the acupoints were "Baihui" (GV 20), left "nieⅠ" (extra), "Dazhui" (GV 14), "Jizhong" (extra), "Quchi" (LI 11), "Yongquan" (KI 1), "Hegu" (LI 4), "Zhoujie" (extra) and "Xiqianxue" (extra). The same volume of saline was intraperitoneally injected in the model group for continuous 14 days. Neurobehavioral ability score was evaluated after treatment. TUNEL were conducted to detect the brain cell apoptosis rate and the expressions of apoptosis associated gene Bax, Bcl-2 and Casp3 were detected by PCR. The level of nerve growth associated protein (GAP-43) and energy metabolism-related protein monocarboxylate transporter protien 1(MCT 1) were detected by Western blot.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>After intervention, the neurobehavioral ability of baby rats in the blank control and sham-operated group was normal, but there was various degrees of abnormity in the model group, NGF group and combined group. The scores of neurobehavioral ability of the combined group and NGF group were better than those of the model control (all <0.05), and the scores in the combined group was better than those in the NGF group (all <0.05). The left brain cell apoptosis rate, expressions of Bax and Casp3 in the combined group and NGF group were lower and the expressions of Bcl-2 were higher than those of the model group (all <0.05), with more obvious results of Bax and Gasp3 in the combined group than those in the NGF group (all <0.05). The protein levels of GAP-43 and MCT 1 in the combined group and NGF group were higher than those in the model group (all <0.05), with higher expressions in the combined group compared with those in the NGF group (both <0.05).</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Acupuncture combined with NGF could improve the neurobehavioral ability of cerebral palsy infant rats, inhibit the nerve cell apoptosis and improve the brain tissue injure and energy metabolism by up-regulating the expressions of GAP-43 and MCT 1.</p>

RESUMEN

AIM:To investigate the effect of neuropathic factor ( NGF) on visual acuity and visual evoked potential ( VEP) in patients with optic nerve contusion.?METHODS:Totally 78 patients ( 78 eyes ) with optic nerve contusion were selected. From January 2013 to June 2016, 39 cases ( 39 eyes ) were divided into observation group and control group respectively according to the random number table method. Prednisone, vitamins and mecobalamin tablets treatment were given to both groups, based on that, the observation group was given NGF treatment, continuous treatment of 2 courses (21d for a course of treatment).?RESULTS: There was no significant difference in visual field defect and visual field sensitivity between the observation group and the control group before treatment (P>0.05). After treatment, the visual field defect degree of the observation group was smaller, the visual field sensitivity was better than that of the control group ( P<0. 05). There was no significant difference in P100 wave latency and P100 wave amplitude between the observation group and the control group before treatment (P>0. 05). After treatment, the P100 wave latency of the observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group ( P<0. 05 ). The amplitude of P100 wave in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P<0. 05). After treatment, the visual acuity and visual field sensitivity of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group (P<0. 05).?CONCLUSION:NGF treatment for optic nerve contusioncan significantly improve the patient's visual acuity, VEP indicators, reduce visual field defects, improve visual field sensitivity.

RESUMEN

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical efficacy of of mouse nerve growth factor and Safflower Flavin on elderly diabetic patients safflower flavin cerebral infarction. Methods 80 elderly diabetic patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. The control group was treated with oxygen, dehydrating agent, controlling blood sugar, maintaining electrolyte balance, aspirin and injecting safflower flavin. On the basis of control group, the treatment group was given rat nerve growth factor. Before and after treatment two weeks, clinical symptoms and neurological function of patients were estimated. Resuts There were statistical significant differences in the clinical symptoms and neurological function of patients before and after treatment. ConclusionIt is an effective treatment with mouse nerve growth factor and safflower flavin on elderly diabetic patients with cerebral infarction and it is worthy of spreading in the clinic.
