Résumé

Objective To establish a method for determining five isoquinoline alkaloids (including berberine,jatrorrhizine,jatrorrhizind,coptisine and palmatine) in Erhuang Xiaoyan tablets simultaneously.Methods Determination by reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC).Column:YMC-Pack ODS-AM (4.6 mm× 250.0 mm,5 μm);mobile phase:elution with 0.1% (v/v) formic acid aqueous solution-acetonitrile mobile phase gradient;flow rate:0.4 mL/min;injection volume:10 μL;detection wavelength:345 nm;column temperature:27 ℃.Results Five of isoquinoline alkaloids in Erhuang Xiaoyan tablets were separated perfectly.The good linear relationships were obtained in the following ranges,1.526 4-5.342 4μg (r=0.999 9) for berberine,0.403 2-1.411 2 μg (r=0.999 6) for palmatine,0.309 7-1.083 9 μg (r=0.999 8) for coptisine,0.111 2-0.389 2 μg (r=0.999 8) for jatrorrhizine and 0.162 2-0.567 7 μg (r=0.999 6) for epiberberine.The recoveries were 98.69%,98.66%,98.67%,98.67% and 98.67%,respectively.Conclusion The method possesses high feasibility,strong specificity,high accuracy and good reproducibility,which can be used for the quality control of Erhuang Xiaoyan tablets.

AIM To establish an HPLC method for the simultaneous content determination of four constituents in Jinlan Xiaoyan Tablets (Lonicerae japonicae Flos,Paeoniae Radix Rubra,Salviae miltiorrhizae Radix et Rhizoma,etc.).METHODS The analysis of 80% methanol extract of this drug was performed on a 30 ℃ thermostatic Wondasil C1s column (250 mm ×4.6 mm,5 μm),with the mobile phase comprising of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid flowing at 1.0 mL/min in a gradient elution manner,and the detection wavelengths were set at 327,230,286 and 250 nm.RESULTS Chlorogenic acid,paeoniflorin,salvianolic acid B and glycyrrhizic acid showed good linear relationships within the ranges of 46.48-464.84 μg/mL (r =0.999 5),20.28-202.75 μg/mL (r=0.999 1),12.44-124.35 μg/mL (r =0.999 6) and 15.09-150.89 μg/mL (r =0.999 9),whose average recoveries were 99.30%,99.10%,99.38% and 100.27% with the RSDs of 1.35%,1.37%,1.28% and 0.86%,respectively.CONCLUSION This simple,accurate and reproducible method can be used for the quality control of Jinlan Xiaoyan Tablets.

OBJECTIVE:To develop a method for simultaneous determination of chlorogenic acid,baicalin,aloe emodin,rhe-in,emodin,chrysophanol and physcione in Kangjun xiaoyan tablets. METHODS:RP-HPLC method was adopted. The determina-tion was performed on Agilent Extend C18 with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.5% phosohoric acid solution(gradient elu-tion)at the flow rate of 1.0 mL/min. The detection wavelengths were set at 327 nm(chlorogenic acid),280 nm(baicalin)and 450 nm(aloe emodin,rhein,emodin,chrysophanol,physcione). The column temperature was 30℃,and sample size was 10μL. RE-SULTS:The linear ranges of chlorogenic acid,baicalin,aloe emodin,rhein,emodin,chrysophanol and physcione were 0.2094-4.1880μg(r=0.9999),0.3720-7.4400 μg(r=0.9999),0.0063-0.1262 μg(r=0.9999),0.0116-0.2322 μg(r=0.9999),0.0053-0.1060 μg(r=0.9998),0.0128-0.2564 μg(r=0.9999),0.0165-0.3303 μg(r=0.9998),respectively. The limits of quantita-tion were 2.01,1.93,0.76,1.25,1.24,0.53 and 1.53 ng;the limits of detection were 0.98,0.65,0.25,0.42,0.41,0.18 and 0.52 ng,respectively. The recoveries were 98.41%-100.40%(RSD=0.76%,n=9),96.17%-100.10%(RSD=1.58%,n=9), 96.11%-100.10%(RSD=1.33%,n=9),96.29%-100.80%(RSD=1.85%,n=9),96.88%-100.10%(RSD=1.22%,n=9), 97.81%-101.90%(RSD=1.64%,n=9),96.46%-101.30%(RSD=1.85%,n=9),respectively. CONCLUSIONS:The method is accurate,reliable and reproducible. It can be used for simultaneous determination of 7 components in Kangjun xiaoyan tablets.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the influence of extracting methods on the content of soluble arsenic in Chinese traditional patent medicine containing realgar. METHODS: Soluble arsenic in traditional Chinese medicines niuhuang xiaoyan tablets was determined by atomic fluorescence spectrometry. The impact of several factors on the determination result was discussed, such as extraction solvents, extraction methods, extraction time, compound extraction and purification method. Then methodological study on the optimized method was carried out. RESULTS: Samples from 14 different manufactures were extracted with simulated intestinal fluid for 24 h at 37°C and the contents of soluble arsenic were between 200 and 1353 mg · kg-1. CONCLUSION: The proposed method is simple, sensitive and accurate, and can provide reference for the quality assessment of TCM products containing realgar.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the long-term toxicity of Kangjun xiaoyan tablets in rats.METHODS:Rats were treated with Kangjun xiaoyan tablets at doses of 30,15,and 7.6 g?kg-1?d-1(150,75 and 38 times of clinic daily dose 0.2 g?kg-1?d-1) for 12 weeks.Parameters including body weight,organ index,the indexes of haematology and biochemistry were obtained,and histopathological examination was performed.RESULTS:There were no significant differences between Kangjun xiaoyan tablets-treated group and normal control group in appearance and behavior,body weight,organ coefficient,the indexes of haematology and biochemistry.No significant pathological changes related to drug toxicity in the pathological examination nor the delayed toxicity reaction was noted.CONCLUSION:Long-term administration of Kangjun xiaoyan tablets exhibited no overt toxicity in rats,suggesting the safety of the clinical intended dosage.

AIM: To study the mostly pharmacological effects of Kangjun Xiaoyan Tablets (Flos Lonicerae, Radix Stemonae, Radix et Rhizonia Rhei, etc.) METHODS: The pharmacological functions of KJXYT were observed by measuring its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and immune etc. RESULTS: KJXYT had remarkably protected the mice from the infection with streptococcus pneumococcus and staphylococcus aureus; had dramatic anti-inflammatory effect on the inhibited feet edema of rat induced by egg white and the ear edema of mice induced by dimethylbenzene; and had obvious effect on fever of rats caused by dried yeast; besides, and strengthened the phagocytosis of mice’s reticuloendothelial system. CONCLUSION:KJXYT serves the function of antibiosis, anti-inflammation, antipyresis and immunpotentiation. enedth

OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality criteria for Xiaoyan tablets. METHODS: Herba Taraxaci and Herba Violae in the formula were identified qualitatively by TLC and the content of Baicalin was determined by HPLC on Zorbax SB-C18(250 mm?4.6 mm,5 ?m) column with mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.4%H3PO4(24∶76) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1. The detection wavelength was set at 280 nm and the column temperature was set at room temperature. RESULTS: Herba Taraxaci and Herba Violae could be detected by TLC. The linear range of Baicalin was 0.08~2.49 ?g(r=0.999 9). The average recovery rate was 100.24%(RSD=1.52%,n=6).CONCLUSION: The establish criteria are suitable for the quality control of Xiaoyan tablets.
