RESUMO

Les accidents d'exposition au sang (AES) constituent une menace reelle pour le personnel de sante . A notre connaissance; dans les deux circonscriptions sanitaires D'EL Ouardia et de Djebel jeloud ; peu d'actions en matiere de prevention des AES ont ete mises en ouvre. Nous y avons donc effectue une enquete connaissances ;attitudes ; pratiques (CAP) durant le mois d'avril 2007 dans le but d'evaluer la situation initiale; de mesurer le niveau global des connaissances et des pratiques du personnels expose et d'aider a la definition d'un programme de formation et d'amelioration .Un questionnaire a ete adresse a 49 personnes en utilisant la technique de l'intervieuw directe . Les resultats ont montre une bonne connaissance du risque de contamination par les trois virus VHB ; VHC et VIH . Le taux de vaccination contre l'hepatites B est de 59 . Le recapuchonna des aiguilles ; considere comme un geste a risque ; est une pratique retrouvee chez 58des repondants. la conduite a tenir en cas d'AES semble etre insffisamment connue par notre echantillons. Ces resultats nous ont permis de mettre en place une demarche qui permet de renforcer la sensibilisation et d'ameliorer la prise de conscience des professionnels de sante vis-avis des risqu d'AES..Le recapuchonnage des aiguilles; considere comme un geste a risque; est une pratique retrouvee chez 58des repondants. La conduite a tenir en cas d'AES semble etre insuffisament connue par notre echantillon. Ces resultats nous ont permis de mettre en place une demarche qui permet de renforcer la sensibilisation et d'ameliorer la pise de conscience des professionnels de sante vis-a-vis des risques d'AES

RESUMO

The aortic-pulmonary regions (APR) of seven adult marmosets (Callithrix jacchus) and the region of the right subclavian artery of a further three marmosets were diffusion-fixed with 10 percent buffered formol-saline solution. In both regions serial 5-æm sections were cut and stained by the Martius yellow, brilliant crystal scarlet and soluble blue method. Presumptive thoracic paraganglionic (PTP) tissue was only observed in the APR. PTP tissue was composed of small groups of cells that varied in size and number. The distribution of the groups of cells was extremely variable, so much so that it would be misleading to attempt to classify their position; they were not circumscribed by a connective tissue capsule, but were always related to the thoracic branches of the left vagus nerve. The cells lay in loose areolar tissue characteristic of this part of the mediastinum and received their blood supply from small adjacent connective tissue arterioles. Unlike the paraganglionic tissue found in the carotid body the cells in the thorax did not appear to have a profuse capillary blood supply. There was, however, a close cellular-neural relationship. The cells, 10-15 æm in diameter, were oval or rounded in appearance and possessed a central nucleus and clear cytoplasm. No evidence was found that these cells possessed a 'companion' cell reminiscent of the arrangement of type 1 and type 2 cells in the carotid body. In conclusion, we found evidence of presumed paraganglionic tissue in the APR of the marmoset which, however, did not show the characteristic histological features of the aortic body chemoreceptors that have been described in some non-primate mammals. A survey of the mediastina of other non-human primates is required to establish whether this finding is atypical for these animals

RESUMO

Se caracterizaron dieciséis alimentos venezolanos de Humedad Intermedia (AHI) venezolanos de diferentes categorías, lácteos, cárnicos, marinos y de origen vegetal, tomando en cuenta, la actividad de agua, pH, humedad, acidez y humectantes utilizados. Paralelamente se estableció el perfil microbiano para cada AHI, siguiendo su evolución en función de las condiciones domesticas de almacenamiento y tiempo. Esta caracterización y comportamiento microbiano se relacionó con los obstaculos y nos permitió explicar los diferentes grados de estabilidad a temperatura ambiente de los AHI estudiados y sugerir mejoras que alarguen su vida útil. El valor de Aw, por sí solo, no es suficiente para garantizar la estabilidad del alimento si no es acompañado de un embalaje apropiado que limite las migraciones del agua, especialmente en nuestros países tropicales
