RESUMO

Objective:To analyze the intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) process based on the TG100 report, aiming to improve the quality control method and guarantee the safety and quality of IMRT.Methods:Based on the TG100 report, a risk analysis team was established. The flow chart of overall and each sub-step of IMRT was constructed. The failure mode and effect analysis method were adopted to determine all potential error modes in the process. The probability of of the error mode, the probability of being checked out and the severity of the effect of the error mode on the clinical bed were evaluated based on the pre-set scoring standard. The priority value of each error mode was calculated and ranked from high to low priority value. The top 20% is defined as the high-risk error mode, which was analyzed by error tree to improve the quality control method.Results:IMRT consisted of 11 main steps and 41 sub-steps, and 180 failure modes were detected. The priority values were ranged from 30 to 178. A total of 36 high-risk failure modes were found. The top 5 high-risk failure modes (RPN) consisted of setup error (178), electronic portal imaging device (EPID) registration (172), contouring error (166), treatment delivery error (160) and prescription dose error (156).Conclusion:TG100 report is practical and convenient to utilize, which can effectively and systematically improve IMRT process and provide safety and quality assurance of IMRT process.

RESUMO

The EtOH extracts of the whole plants of afforded 17 new jatrophane diterpenoid esters, helioscopianoids A-Q (-), along with eight known compounds (-). Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic methods and Mo(OAc)-induced ECD analysis, and the structures of compounds , , and were confirmed by X-ray crystallography. Compounds - were evaluated for inhibitory effects on P-glycoprotein (P-gp) in an adriamycin (ADM)-resistant human breast adenocarcinoma cell line (MCF-7/ADR) and neuroprotective effects against serum deprivation-induced and rotenone-induced PC12 cell damage. Compounds and increased the accumulation of ADM in MCF-7/ADR cells by approximately 3-fold at a concentration of 20 μmol/L. Compound could attenuate rotenone-induced PC12 cell damage, and compounds , , and showed neuroprotective activities against serum deprivation-induced PC12 cell damage.

Une new flavonoids named as notabilisin K (1), together with four known compounds, morusin (2), mulberrofuran A (3), neocyclomorusin (4) and mornigrol F (5) are separated from 95% ethanol extracts of the twigs of Morus notabilis. Compounds 2-5 are separated from this plant for the first time. Notabilisin I, notabilisin J exhibits certain effect against cells of HCT-116, HepG2 and A2780 with IC50 values ranging from 1.47 μmol x L(-1) to 5.46 μmol x L(-1). Morusin exhibits strong effect against five kinds of human cancer cells (BGC823, A2780, HCT-116, HepG2 and NCI-H1650) with IC50 values ranging from 0.74 μmol x L(-1) to 1.58 μmol x L(-1).

RESUMO

Fifteen compounds were isolated from the rhizomes of Acorus tatarinowii by means of various chromatographic techniques such as silica gel, ODS, Sephadex LH-20 and preparative HPLC, and their structures were elucidated as tatanone A (1), calamusenone (2), acoronene (3), 2-acetyloxyacoronene (4), acorenone (5), alpha-asarone (6), beta-asarone (7), 1,2-dimethoxy-4-(1'Z-propenyl) benzene (8), methyleugenol (9), asarylaldehyde (10), acoramone (11), gamma-asarone (12), 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furaldehyde (13), galgravin (14) and eudesmin (15) on the basis of spectroscopic data analysis. Compound 1 was a new compound, and compounds 3-5 were separated from Acorus species for the first time.

Objective To compare the effectiveness,correlativity,and acceptability of the three methods:bone marrow smear,biopsy and flow cytometry in diagnosis of lymphoma patients with bone marrow involvement.Methods 68 cases of early stage lymphoma were studied by observing and comparing positive rates of the three methods:bone marrow smear,biopsy and flow cytometry.Results After confirming the bone marrow involvement,the positive rates for the 68 cases using bone marrow smear,biopsy and flow cytometry were 16.2 % (11/68),33.8 % (23/68) and 10.3 % (7/68) respectively.Bone marrow biopsy had the highest positive rate compared to the other methods.It was statistically significant when comparing the differences of the 3 methods (P < 0.05).According to the correlativity analysis of the 3 methods,bone marrow smear and biopsy correlated with each other (P =0.002),while flow cytometery did not (P =0.270).Conclusions Morphological examination of the bone marrow smear is a fundamental method to test bone marrow involvement in lymphoma.Bone marrow biopsy creates the highest positive rate and has clear advantage compared to the other methods,however,bone marrow smear must be used at the same time as a complement.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the clinical value of magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) image in stereotactic biopsy for brain lesion.</p><p><b>METHODS</b>From April 2008 to April 2010, 126 cases (72 male and 54 female, aged from 10 to 82 years, mean 45 years) of brain lesion which were difficult to diagnose were divided into two groups by random number table, 62 cases were executed for MRI-guided frameless stereotactic biopsy (MRI group), 64 cases were executed for MRI and MRS-guided frameless stereotactic biopsy (MRS group). Operation used MRI and Three-dimensional MRS image to locate, and used frameless CAS-R-2 robots to carry out the positioning operating.</p><p><b>RESULTS</b>No surgery-related deaths and infections. Pathological diagnosis was 106 cases of brain tumors, 6 cases of inflammatory disease, 4 cases of tumor-like demyelinating disease and multiple sclerosis, 3 cases of neurodegenerative disease, 7 cases failed to obtain positive pathological diagnosis. The total rate of positive diagnosis was 94.4%, the positive rate in MRS-guided stereotactic biopsy group was 98.4% (63/64), the positive rate of conventional MRI-guided biopsy group was 90.3% (56/62), and there was statistically significant difference between the two groups (χ(2) = 3.92, P = 0.047). Four cases presented with postoperative complications, the complication rate was 3.2% (4/126); the complications were cerebral hemorrhage associated with aphasia, epilepsy, subcutaneous hematoma, gastrointestinal bleeding, which were improved after treatment.</p><p><b>CONCLUSIONS</b>MRS-guided stereotactic biopsy group has a higher positive rate than MRI-guided stereotactic biopsy group, indicating that this method can improve the positive rate of diagnosis, and thus will help to formulate treatment plan for brain lesion.</p>

RESUMO

@#Rehabilitation evaluation was an important special basic course of healing cure specialty in the higher vocational college. It was a key to improve teaching quality of training students' occupation capacity. The establishment of aim, class teaching contents and outline, the preparation of teaching data, the innovation of teaching methods and measures, the reinforcement of practical teaching, and etc. were discussed in this paper. Considerations and experiences on the practical teaching reform and construction of rehabilitation evaluation courses were put forward in the higher vocational colleges.
