RESUMO

The main characteristics of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) are hyperandrogen, ovulation disorder, insulin resistance and obesity. However, its pathogenesis is not completely understood. Therefore, it is very important to study the metabolic pathways that may be related to PCOS and find its metabolic markers. The application of metabolomics provides a new direction for studying the pathogenesis of PCOS. It is a very valuable and developing technology that can discover new metabolites and explore potential biomarkers for endocrine and metabolic diseases. In addition, metabolomics technology can also improve the diagnosis and treatment of PCOS. This article aims to summarize the recent applications and research progress of metabolomics in PCOS, elaborating on metabolites and metabolic pathways.

RESUMO

The changes of serum apelin in patients with metabolic syndrome were investigated. The level of fasting serum apelin was determined by ELISA assay. The level of serum apelin was raised obviously in patients with metabolic syndrome(MS).Moreover, the level of serum apelin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus was higher than those in cases of MS with impaired glucose regulation and the group of subjects with overweight/obesity [ (475.8±37.3 vs 451.5±54.3 and 430.3±52.1 ) ng/L,P<0.01 ].In a multiple step-wise regression analysis,In homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance ( HOMA-IR),body mass index, and total cholesterol were independent factors of apelin. The increased serum apelin was closely related to metabolic abnormalities in metabolic syndrome. The increased insulin resistance might cause the raised level of serum apelin in patients with MS.

RESUMO

Protein kinase C (PKC) is a serine/threonine kinase, which plays an important role in cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis. The activation of PKC has closely correlation to tumorigenesis, development and metastasis. Activation of PKC is one of key link in the cell signal transduction passway, which mediated cellular signals, participated expression of genes, and influenced cell cycles. Therefore, delivering drugs based on anti-cell information may provide a broaden prospect for anti-tumor therapy.

RESUMO

Objective To improve the success rate of CT examination on child care patients by summarizing the nursing experience.involved in the examination process. Methoods 500 patients were examined by CT,who had accepted relative nursing treatment during the whole checkup process. Results Imaging quality was good in 495 patients, poor in 5. Conclusion To acquire a good imaging quality and to secure child care safety,it is essential that the nursing experience be applied.
