RESUMO

Objective:To evaluate the value of Facial Emotion Recognition Test (FERT) in the early diagnosis of behavioral variant frontotemporal dementia (bvFTD).Methods:A total of 27 patients with mild bvFTD, 27 patients with mild Alzheimer′s disease (AD) and 54 normal controls were successively collected in the Memory Clinic of Department of Neurology,Xuanwu Hospital, Capital Medical University from January 2018 to July 2019. The subjects were assessed by the FERT and a battery of neuropsychological background tests including Mini-Mental State Examination, Frontal Assessment Battery (FAB), and Auditory Verbal Learning Test (AVLT), etc. The discriminatory power of the FERT was evaluated using the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC).Results:The average FERT scores of bvFTD, AD and control groups were 18.00 (14.00, 21.00), 25.00 (21.00, 28.00) and 28.00 (26.00, 30.00) respectively. The FERT scores of bvFTD group were significantly lower than those of control groups ( H=-55.278, P<0.001) and AD groups ( H=-28.407, P=0.002). ROC results showed that the FERT had a high discriminatory power for differentiating bvFTD from the controls, with an area under the curve (AUC) value of 0.969 (95% CI 0.931-1.000, P<0.001). Both the sensitivity and specificity were 92.6% with a cut-off value at 24. For differentiating bvFTD group from AD group, the AUC value for the FERT was 0.850 (95% CI 0.749-0.951, P<0.001), with sensitivity of 81.5% and specificity of 71.4% with a cut-off value of 22. Compared with the AUC values for the FAB and AVLT-Delayed Recall (0.776 and 0.714), the AUC value for the FERT was slightly higher, though the differences among them were not statistically significant. Conclusions:Disturbance of emotion processing is presented in the early stage of bvFTD. FERT is one of the sensitive and specific neuropsychological indicators for the early diagnosis of bvFTD.

Biosynthesis of nanomaterials has attracted much attention for its excellent characteristics such as low energy consumption, high safety, and environmental friendliness. As we all know, the toxic selenite can be transformed into higher-value nanomaterials by using bacteria. In this study, nano-selenium was synthesized by halophilic Bacillus subtilis subspecies stercoris strain XP in LB medium supplemented with selenite (electron acceptor). The physicochemical characteristics of nano-selenium were analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray energy dispersive spectral analysis (EDAX), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). Meanwhile, the antifungal activity of nano-selenium to strawberry pathogens (fusarium wilt, erythema, and purple spot fungi) was determined. The products from reduction of selenite by strain XP was amorphous spherical selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) with a diameter range of 135-165 nm. The production of SeNPs was positively correlated with time (0-48 h) and no changes were observed on cell morphology. Selenium was dominant in the surface of SeNPs where the organic elements (C, O, N, and S) existed at the same time. SeNPs were coated with biomolecules containing functional groups (such as -OH, C=O, N-H, and C-H) which were associated with the stability and bioactivity of particles. Although the highest concentration of SeNPs had significant (P<0.05) inhibitory effects on three strains of strawberry pathogens, antifungal activity to erythema and fusarium wilt pathogenic fungi was higher than that to purple spot pathogenic fungi from strawberry. In conclusion, strain XP not only has strong tolerance to high salt stress, but can be also used to synthesize biological SeNPs with good stability and biological activity. Thus, the strain XP has bright perspectives and great potential advantage in pathogens control and green selenium-rich strawberry planting as well as other fields.

RESUMO

Objective To explore the effects of the low pigmented anemia on glycated hemoglobin of pregnant women with normal glucose metabolism.Methods The study retrospectively selected the 10-28 weeks pregnant women of 647 cases(292 cases with Hb≥110 g/L and 355 cases with Hb<110 g/L)with normal fasting blood glucose at the Qingpu Branch of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University, between January and June 2017.According to their MCH and MCV,patients were divided into two groups.There are observation group which including 89 cases with MCH<27 pg and MCV<82 fl and 196 cases with MCH<27 pg and MCV≥82 fl as(low pigment group)and 362 cases with MCH≥27 pg and MCV≥82 fl as control group which including 70 cases with Hb≥110 g/L and 292 cases with Hb <110 g/L.RBC parameters, fasting plasma glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin of all cases were detected on the Hitachi 7600 automatic biochemical analyzer and HLC-723G8 automatic glycosylated hemoglobin analyzer.The t test, chi-square test and Bonferroni test were used for statistical analysis.Results Statistical analysis showed the fasting blood glucose of the pregnant women without anemia(Hb≥110 g/L)and the pregnant women with anemia (Hb<110 g/L)were(4.68 ±0.36)mmol/L and(4.632 ±0.33)mmol/L respectively, and there is no statistical difference between them with t=-1.860,P=0.063.The and glycosylated hemoglobin levels of the pregnant women with Hb≥110 g/L and the pregnant women with Hb <110 g/L were(4.851 ±0.32)%and(4.872 ±0.35)%respectively,and there is no statistical difference between them with t=0.780,P=0.436.The fasting blood glucose of the cases with MCH <27 pg and MCV<82 fl,the cases with MCH<27 pg and MCV≥82 fl and the cases with MCH≥27 pg and MCV≥82 fl were(4.609 ±0.319)mmol/L, (4.586 ±0.381)mmol/L,(4.661 ±0.344)mmol/L respectively, and there was no statistical difference among them with F=1.105,P=0.332;the glycated hemoglobin levels of the three groups were(5.097 ± 0.409)%,(5.084 ±0.375)% and(4.835 ±0.321)% respectively, the glycated hemoglobin of the cases with MCH<27 pg were statistically higher than that of the cases with MCH≥27 pg with F=18.479,P<0.000 1 and absolute difference was 0.26%.Conclusion Low pigment anemia with MCH <27 pg has a significant effect on glycated hemoglobin levels in pregnant women,which can cause the increase of glycated hemoglobin in pregnant women.

To evaluate the application of preimplanted angiography catheter with digital subtraction angiograply(DSA) for surgical treatment of acute lower gastrointestinal bleeding.Clinical data of 17 patients with acute lower gastrointestinal bleeding admitted from June 2011 to December 2014 were retrospectively reviewed.The angiography catheter was implanted and methylene was injected to find the bleeding sites with DSA,then emergency laparotomy was performed.The results showed the bleeding sites in small intestine in 8 cases and in large intestine in 9 cases.Postoperative pathology revealed vascular malformation in 4 cases,2 in small intestine and 2 in colon;ulcerative colitis in 3 cases;colon cancer in 1 case;colonic diverticula in 3 cases and small intestinal stromal tumor in 6 cases.Results indicate that if the conservative therapy is not effective,surgical treatment assisted by preimplanted angiography catheter with DSA is safe and effective for patients with lower gastrointestinal bleeding.

Objective To activate and amplify γδT cells with low molecular peptide antigen of Mycobacterium tuberculosis low molecular peptide antigen (Mtb-Ag),and to investigate the expression of CD69 molecules on γδT cellular surface.Methods Healthy human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) were obtained and separated,then positive cells were isolated by immuno-magnetic beads selection,and the proportion of γδT cells in the PBMCs was detected by fluorescent monoclonal TCR γδT-PE staining and flow cytometry.Expression of CD69 molecules in γδT cells was detected by γδ-PE/CD69 FITC double staining.Results The proportion of γδT cells was (4.9±1.85)% in freshly obtained PBMC,(69.2±6.57)% after 10 d of Mtb-Ag activation,and (99.3±8.92)% after immuno-magnetic beads selection.The expression of CD69 molecules in γδT cells reached the peak (75.2%) at 24 h after initial Mtb-Ag stimulation,and reached the peak (72.0%) at 6 h after second stimulation.Conclusions MtbAg can specifically stimulate the proliferation of γδT cells in the PBMC.Both its initial and the second stimulation can specifically activate γδT cells.

Objective To know about the current status of the work engagement of the clinical nurses and its influencing factors,to explore the influencing factors of work engagement of clinical nurses so as to provide basis for improving the level of the work engagement of the clinical nurses.Methods The work engagement scale,hardiness scale,role pressure scale,perceived organizational support scale and questionnaire of family care index were used to investigate a total of 630 clinical nurses.The results were analyzed.Results The average score of work engagement,hardiness,role pressure and perceived organizational support were showed respectively as following:(3.28±0.51),(2.60±0.53),(3.00±0.50),(3.43± 1.04) scores.Clinical nurses number of the total point between 7 and 10 of family support accounted for 70.9%(447/630).Hardiness,perceived organizational support,family support and work engagement were in obvious positive correlation,whereas role pressure was in obvious negative correlation with work engagement.Hierarchical regression analysis showed after the variable of demographic was controlled,the hardiness and perceived organizational support respectively had significant positive predictive function on work engagement as respective independent variables.Role pressure had obvious negative predicative function on work engagement.Conclusions Hospital managers should create a good working environment for clinical nurses,measures should be taken from individual and organizational aspects so as to improve the hardiness and perceived organizational support,reduce role pressure and the work positivity of the clinical nurses,so that the nurse more positively devoted to their work.It has important practical significance to improving the quality of their services and stabilizing nursing troop.

Objective To investigate the relationship between maternal serum lipid levels and newborn weight in pregnant women with single positive diabetic screening test. Methods On the basis of 75 g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT), 406 pregnant women during 24-28 gestational week whose 50 glucose challenge test (GCT)≥7.8 mmol/L were separated to gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) group with 115cases, gestational impaired glucose tolerant (GIGT) group with 60 cases,and GCT (+) group with 231 cases.The serum levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C), apolipoprotein A1 (ApoA1) and apolipoprotein B (ApoB) were measured at the same time. Results Serum TG concentration was significantly higher in GDM group than that in GIGT group and GCT(+) group(P<0.01).The level of HDL-C, ApoB in GDM group were lower than those in GIGT group and GCT(+) group (P<0.01). In the 231 women with positive diabetic screening but normal glucose tolerance who delivered at term, the incidence of macrosomia was significantly higher in those with TG levels higher than 3.5 mmol/L (25.0%, 11/44) than in mothers who TG levels were lower than 3.5mmol/L (11.2%, 21/187) (P=0.017). Multiple regression analysis (stepwise) showed that the independent risk factors of macrosomia was the level of TG and ApoB (F=7.677,P=0.006;F = 7.842,P = 0.001 ).Conclusion Among pregnant women with single positive diabetic screening test,maternal serum TG and ApoB are independently associated with neonatal birth weight.
