RESUMO

N 6 -methyladenosine (m6A) is a chemical modification that exists in a variety of RNAs and is most commonly observed in mRNA. The liver is a vital metabolic and digestive organ in human body, and m6A methylation plays an important role in the physiological and pathological processes of the liver. This article reviews the biological role and potential application value of m6A methylation in liver physiology and liver diseases such as viral hepatitis, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, liver fibrosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma, and it is pointed out that m6A methylation can regulate related factors and is involved in the development and progression of liver diseases, which provides new ideas and targets for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

RESUMO

Hepatic fibrosis is a reversible pathological reaction of the liver during the self-repair of various chronic liver injuries and can progress to liver cirrhosis and liver cancer. Pyroptosis is a new type of programmed cell death different from apoptosis and necrosis and is closely associated with the pathogenesis of hepatic fibrosis. This article reviews the latest research advances in the definition of pyroptosis, related activation pathways, and its role in hepatic stellate cells, hepatic parenchymal cells, Kupffer cells, and eosinophils, and it is pointed out that pyroptosis can induce liver inflammation, excessively activate hepatic stellate cells, and promote the development and progression of hepatic fibrosis, in order to provide new ideas and potential targets for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

RESUMO

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of tuina in treating depression.Method: Eighty depression cases that conformed to the inclusive criteria were randomized into tuina and Deanxit group, with 40 cases in each group. Tuina manipulations were adopted for cases in the tuina group, 30 min for each treatment. While 2 Deanxit tablets were adopted for cases in the Deanxit group, twice a day. The clinical efficacy of the two groups was evaluated by using Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression (HAMD) before treatment and the 2nd, 4th and 6thweeks after. In addition, the Treatment Emergent Symptom Scale (TESS) was adopted to evaluate the adverse reactions in the two groups. Result: Both tuina and Deanxit can help to relieve the symptoms of depression patients. The effective rate of tuina and Deanxit were 72.5% and 70.0% respectively. However, there were no adverse reactions in tuina group, while 12.5% of adverse reaction rate occurred in the Deanxit group. Conclusion: Tuina can definitely benefit patients with depression and cause no adverse reactions.

RESUMO

Objective To observe the change of ?-smooth muscle actin (?-SMA) expression in carbon tetrachloride (CCl4)-induced liver fibrosis in rats after treatment with Ganle keli. Methods Liver fibrosis rat model was induced by CCl4 twice a week for 12 weeks. Ganle keli was used daily intragastric administration from the 7th week. Contents of NO, NOS and iNOS were determined by absorption spectrometry. Liver samples were collected after experiments and stained by immunohistochemistry of ?-SMA. Moreover ?-SMAmRNA expression in liver tissue was detected by RT-PCR technology. Results Ganle keli could significantly reduce NO, NOS and iNOS contents, effectively prevent the expression of ?-SMA, and significantly reduce ?-SMA mRNA in liver fibrosis rats. Conclusion Ganle keli can effectively inhibit the expression of ?-SMA in CCl4-induced fibrotic liver in rats.

RESUMO

To observe the clinical efficacy of massage therapy and Cisapride in the treatment of functional dyspepsia (FD).Methods:Eighty subjects were randomized into two groups:treatment group in which 40 cases were treated by massage therapy and control group in which 40 cases were treated by Cisapride, with a course of 4 weeks;meanwhile, another 40 healthy people were taken as normal group.Abdominal fullness, acid regurgitation, diminished appetite and anorexia, nausea and vomiting and health survey were observed;symptom scores were recorded. Results:These two treatment methods were effective for FD.Conclusion:Mental disorder is one cause of FD;massage therapy is quite effective for it.

RESUMO

[Objective] To observe the clinical effects of medical ozone(O3)combined with sodium hyaluronate(SH)in treatment of knee osteoarthritis.[Methods]One hundred and twenty patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into three groups:A,B and C(40 in each group). The patients in group A were treated with intra-articular injection of 15 ml(35 ug/ml)medical ozone in the first week,25 mg sodium hyaluronate in the second week and repeated 15 ml(35 ug/ml)medical ozone in the third week. The patients in group B were treated with intra-articular injection of 15 ml medical ozone once a week for 3 weeks. The patients in group C were treated with intra-articular injection of 25 mg sodium hyaluronate once a week for 5 weeks.VAS score and clinical results of the three groups were recorded and compared preoperatively and at 1,2 and 3 months postoperatively.[Results]The VAS score of three groups were signifcantely reduced after treatment(P

RESUMO

Objective: To observe the effect of Tuina and respirometric training on the pulmonary function, dyspnea, motor ability, and quality of life in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in remission stage. Method: Sixty-six cases of COPD in remission stage were divided into Tuina group (n = 33) and control group (n = 33) with table of randomized number. After 3-month treatment, the grade of dyspnea and quality of life, pulmonary function, and 6-min Self Walk Test were compared with that before treatment. Results: The pulmonary function of patients in Tuina group were improved remarkably, the improvement in the control group was poor. The qualities of life were enhanced in the two groups, and Tuina method was better than the respirometric training. Both the treatment methods could increase the walking distance in 6 min Self Walk Test and improve dyspnea, without a difference in the two groups. Conclusion: The two treatment methods had good therapeutic effect on dyspnea, quality, motor ability and pulmonary function in patients with COPD in remission stage, and especially, Tuina treatment had a better effect on pulmonary function and quality of life than the control method.

RESUMO

Objective: To analyze the short-term and long-term effects of non-operative therapy in the treatment of prolapsed lumbar intervertebral discs. Methods: One hundred and sixty-five subjects were randomized in single-blind method into traction group (A), Tuina group (B), and Tuina and exercise group (C); after 2 courses of treatment, the short-term effects were evaluated. Moreover, 102 cases with significant short-term effects were randomized in single-blind method into exercise group (D) and control group (E). The relapse rates in the two groups were survey one year after treatment; and the lumbar functions were assessed respectively six months and twelve months after treatment. Results: Groups B and C had obviously better effects than group A (χ2=8.359, P<0.01); the relapse rate after one year was strikingly lower in group D than group E (χ2=12.631, P<0.01). Conclusion: Tuina plus functional exercise is an effective method in the prevention and treatment of prolapsed lumbar intervertebral discs.
