RESUMO
We report a case of a 30-year-old female who had been treated periodically with steroids for idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura ITP over the last 10 years. Recently, during the course of investigation, she was found to have incidental asymptomatic multiple pulmonary nodules on chest CT. Following a needle biopsy to exclude malignancy, 2 nodules were excised and were histologically confirmed as pulmonary hyalinizing granuloma PHG. The remaining 2 nodules regressed on increasing her dose of steroids. The case is discussed with emphasis on the histological and radiological differential diagnosis, in addition to including ITP among the spectrum of immunologic conditions associated with PHG

Psoriasis is a common chronic intractable skin disease of unknown cause. It is itchy in only 25% of the cases. The serum level of IgE was determined in 60 patients with psotiasis [30 itchy and 30 non-itchy]. The serum level of IgE was significantly raised in psoriasis whether itchy or non itchy. There was no relation between raised serum IgE levels and the age or sex of patient. Also, there was no relation with the type or extension of the lesions or the duration of the illness

Fifty infertile males were selected for this work. Their mean age was around 50 years. Patients were subjected to: semen examination serum hormone estimation [F.S.H., LH, prolactin, and testosterone], and testicular volume determination, Twenty normal fertile males were selected as normal controls. An important correlation was found between testicular volume, sperm count, and serum hormones. Prolactin hormone was found to be andependable parameter in evaluation of cases of infertility
