BackgroundHome-based intervention occupies a prominent place in the treatment of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in children, whereas previous studies on the effect of home-based early intensive behavioral intervention on verbal ability of children with ASD are somewhat inadequate. ObjectiveTo study the effects of intensive family behavioral of intervention based on Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) on the language ability of children with ASD, so as to provide references for the development of family intervention strategies for children with ASD. MethodsChildren aged 2 to 3 years old who attended the Children's Rehabilitation Department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College from September 2020 to December 2021 and met the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, fifth edition (DSM-5) diagnostic criteria for ASD were selected as the study objects. A non-randomized concurrent control trial was conducted to compare a study group (n=24) receiving home-based early intensive behavioral intervention using VB-MAPP with a control group (n=14) receiving training from other special institutions or early childhood education institutions. The intervention lasted for 6 months in both groups. Before and after the intervention, the VB-MAPP milestone assessment was performed in the two groups, and the VB-MAPP milestone score, mand, trac and listener responds were selected as the study indicators. Then the intervention effect was compared between two groups, and the multiple linear regression was performed to screen the related influencing factors. ResultsAfter intervention, the total milestone assessment score, mand, tact and listener responds scores of study group were higher than those of control group, with statistical difference (Z=-4.339~-2.195, P<0.05 or 0.01). Multiple linear regression analysis denoted that the average weekly hours of home-based intervention in the first three months had certain effect on listener responds (β=1.029, P<0.05). ConclusionApplication of home-based early intensive behavior intervention using VB-MAPP may contribute to the improvement of verbal abilities such as mand, tact and listener responds in children with ASD. RESUMO

Placenta, the direct and vital connection between mother and fetus, can be considered as an inflammatory organ that plays an essential role in maternal-fetal immune tolerance in maintaining pregnancy and mediating inflammation in some gestational complications. When gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) occurs, the mother and placenta are in a state of mild inflammation. We hypothesize that the placental immune cells may participate in the pathogenesis of GDM. This review discusses the relation between placental immune cells and GDM from three aspects: the regulatory function of the placental immune cells, the association between abnormal placental immune cells and GDM, and the function of placental immune cells during clinical management of GDM.

Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) refers to the carbohydrate intolerance of variable severity with onset or first recognition during pregnancy.In recent years,the growing prevalence of obesity and GDM has been of long-standing interest.Maternal obesity is an independent risk factor of GDM,which can lead to adverse pregnancy outcomes.This review describes the relationship between maternal obesity and GDM from the aspects of the evaluation index and the management of obesity during pregnancy.

Objective To investigate the significance of fibrin monomer(FM ) ,D‐Dimer(D‐D) and other blood coagulation indica‐tors detection in the early diagnosis of disseminated intravascular coagulation(DIC) in obstetrics .Methods 90 healthy women with‐out pregnancy(control group) ,270 normal pregnant women including early ,mid‐,late pregnancy(90 cases for each) ,36 early DIC puerperas(early DIC group) were enrolled in the study .FM ,D‐D ,prothrombin time (PT ) ,activated partial coagulation activity (APTT) ,fibrinogen(FIB) levels were detected for those people .Results The levels of D‐D and FM in early DIC group were signif‐icantly higher than those in control group (P<0 .05) ,and PT ,APTT in late pregnant group were significantly shorter than those in early ,mid‐pregnant group and control group ,while FIB was significantly higher ,the difference was statistically significant(P<0 .05) .Conclusion PT ,APTT and FIB can reflect the high blood coagulation state in the late pregnancy ,but can not be used in the diagnosis of early DIC .D‐D and FM have important value for the early diagnosis of DIC in obstetrics .

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the characteristics of diet in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) and analyze their dietary nutrition.Methods Clinical data of 978 cases of pregnant women in our hospital were collected and divided into GDM group(458 cases) and the healthy control group (520 cases).Dietary questionnaire was designed and diet characteristics were analyzed retrospectively.Daily calories and nutrients intake were calculated by software calculation.Results There were significant differences on the dietary pattern between the two groups:daily coarse grains:(35.12 ±4.87) g vs (46.35 ±5.23) g;seafood:(22.10 ± 8.45) g vs (39.34 ± 12.45) g;grilled:(6.72 ± 1.76) g vs (3.45 ±0.34) g;fried:(25.34 ± 7.84)g vs (10.56 ±4.76) g;sausage:(5.38 ± 1.81) g vs (3.45 ± 0.45) g;dessert type products intake:(50.41 ±20.76) g vs (35.86 ± 10.45) g (t =2.582,10.346,15.452,20.239,18.195,8.472,respectively,P <0.05).There was only significant difference between the two groups on calcium supplements in daily intake of nutritional supplements(GDM group 43.89%,control group 72.69%,x2 =83.660,P < 0.001),and there was no significant difference on the rests(all P > 0.05).Vitamin A,B1,B2,C and calcium,iron,zinc,selenium daily intake in GDM patients were less than those in the control group,but there was significant difference only in calcium compared with the control group (GDM group (785.2 ± 194.5) mg,control group (945.5 ± 245.2)mg,t =2.795,P =0.005).Multivariate logistic regression found that excessive intake of fried class (OR =3.357,95% CI =2.012-11.340),barbecue (OR =2.652,95% CI =1.834-8.578),sausage type products (OR =2.518,95% CI =1.743-7.421) etc.were dietary factors of GDM (all P < 0.05).Incidence of GDM was significantly increased if taking more.While the increased intake of coarse grains (OR =0.632 95% CI =0.134-1.489),seafood class(OR =0.408,95% CI =0.105-1.189) can reduce the occurrence of GDM(all P < 0.05).Conclusion Many unscientific ways of eating involved in pregnant women with GDM.Dessert,sausage,grilled,fried products intake increased the risk factors for GDM.Coarse grains,seafood intake were the protective factors of GDM.Timely adjustment of maternal diet and adequate calcium supplementation played an important role in the prevention of GDM.

RESUMO

The association of spontaneous intracranial hypotension with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis is rare. We report here a case of extensive cerebral venous sinus thrombosis involving three sinuses following spontaneous intracranial hypotension. The patient presented no other thrombotic risk factors except for spontaneous intracranial hypotension. This case adds to the evidence that spontaneous intracranial hypotension is a risk factor for cerebral venous sinus thrombosis.

To study the chemical constituents of Alchornea trewioides, silica gel column chromatography, Sephadex LH-20, reverse phase ODS column chromatography, MCI and semi-preparative HPLC were used to separate the 95% EtOH extract of the root of Alchornea trewioides. The structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic studies including ESI-TOF-MS, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HSQC and HMBC. Eight phenolic acids were obtained and identified as 1-O-galloyl-6-O-vanilloyl-beta-glucose (1), gallic acid (2), ethyl gallate (3), syringic acid (4), glucosyringic acid (5), erigeside C (6), 3, 4-dimethoxyphenyl-(6'-O-alpha-L-rhamnosyl)-beta-D-glucopyranoside (7) and 3, 4, 5-trimethoxyphenyl-(6'-O-galloyl)-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (8). Among them, compound 1 is a new compound, compounds 4-8 are isolated from the genus Alchornea for the first time, and the others are isolated from the plant for the first time.

To study the chemical constituents of Bauhinia glauca subsp. pernervosa, eleven phenolic acids were isolated from a 95% ethanol extract by using a combination of various chromatographic techniques including column chromatography over silica gel, ODS, MCI, Sephadex LH-20, and semi-preparative HPLC. By spectroscopic techniques including 1H NMR, 13C NMR, 2D NMR, and HR-ESI-MS, these compounds were identified as isopropyl O-beta-(6'-O-galloyl)-glucopyranoside (1), ethyl O-beta-(6'-O-galloyl)-glucopyranoside (2), 3, 4, 5-trimethoxyphenyl-(6'-O-galloyl)-O-beta-D-glucopyranoside (3), 3, 4, 5-trimethoxyphenyl-beta-D-glucopyranoside (4), gallic acid (5), methyl gallate (6), ethyl gallate (7), protocatechuic acid (8), 3, 5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxybenzoic acid (9), erigeside C (10) and glucosyringic acid (11). Among them, compound 1 is a new polyhydroxyl compound; compounds 2, 10, and 11 were isolated from the genus Bauhinia for the first time, and the other compounds were isolated from the plant for the first time. Compounds 6 and 8 showed significant protein tyrosine phosphatase1B (PTP1B) inhibitory activity in vitro with the IC50 values of 72.3 and 54.1 micromol x L(-1), respectively.

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To investigate the metabolites in rat urine after orally administrating gossypetin-8-O-beta-D-glucuronide.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>Gossypetin-8-O-beta-D-glucuronide was administrated orally at the dose of 250 mg x kg(-1) to healthy rats, then the urine was collected, pre-treated appropriately and detected by HPLC-DAD-MS(n).</p><p><b>RESULT</b>In the rat urine, gossypetin-8-O-beta-D-glucuronide, along with 6 metabolites, were detected, and their structures were elucidated on the basis of reference standards, UV and MS(n) spectra. The metabolic pathways of gossypetin-8-O-beta-D-glucuronide included mainly deglycosylation, glucuronidation and methylation.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>A rapid and sensitive method for the analysis of metabolites in rat urine after orally administrating gossypetin-8-O-beta-D-glucuronide was established and this will be useful for the further metabolism study of gossypetin-8-O-beta-D-glucuronide.</p>

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the metabolism and excretion of total flavonoids of Semen Ziziphi Spinosae in rat urine and feces.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>The urine and feces of rats were collected at different times after orally administration of total flavonoids from Semen Ziziphi Spinosae, disposed by HP-20 macroporous resin, and then detected by both HPLC and LC-MSn methods.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>Two main proto-drugs, spinosin and 6'"-feruloylspinosin, along with a metabolite, swertish (M1), are detected in both urine and feces of rat.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>Flavonoids of Semen Ziziphi Spinosae are excreted in urine and feces mainly in form of proto-drug, while little in form of metabolites, such as swertish.</p>

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To develop a HPLC-DAD method for simultaneous determination of six flavonoids in Scutellaria baicalensis, and study the effect of geographic sources, culturation, harvesting time and processing on the contents of flavonoids.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>The analysis was performed on a Thermo ODS-2 Hypersil column (4.6 mm x 250 mm, 5 microm) at 26 degrees C with a gradient program of acetonitrile-0.1% H3 PO4 aqueous solution-tetrahydrofuran as the mobile phase and a Diode Array Detector as the detector with the detection wavelength at 274 nm. The flow rate was 1.0 mL x min(-1), and the injection value was 20 microL.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>Six flavonoids, baicalin (1), oroxylin A-7-O-glucuronide (2), wogonoside (3), baicalein (4), wogonin (5) and oroxylin A (6), were linear over the selected range with R2 > or = 0.999 3. The average recoveries were between 96.6% -103.0%, and RSD were less then 5.0% (n = 9) for flavonoids 1-6. By analyzing the data obtained, the effect of geographic sources, culturation, harvesting time and processing on the contents of flavonoids were discussed.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>This method is simple, sensitive, reliable and reproducible. It can be used for the quality control of S. baicalensis.</p>

<p><b>OBJECTIVE</b>To study the chemical constituents of Tibetan medicine Caryopteris toroetii.</p><p><b>METHOD</b>The crude drug was extracted with 95% EtOH and isolated by repeated chromatographic methods. The structures of the isolated compounds were elucidated on the basis of spectral analysis.</p><p><b>RESULT</b>Two en-kaurene diterpenoid compounds: oridonin (1) and nodosin (2), were obtained from C. toroetii and their 1H and 13C-NMR data in CD3OD were reported for the first time.</p><p><b>CONCLUSION</b>The en-kaurene diterpenoid compounds were obtained from genus Caryopteris for the first time.</p>

Objective:To assess the potential of mouse immune-costimulating signal B7-2 in inducing immune effect.Methods:(1)The specific mB7-2cDNA fragment from LPS-stimulated mouse splenocytes was obtained by reverse transcription and polymerase chain reaction.The obtained fragment was inserted to pLXSN plasmid.Then the plasmid pLXSN-mB7-2 was packaged into PA317 cells;(2)The EL4/mB7-2 was obtained by infecting the EL4 by the concentrated virus particles produced by PA317/mB7-2;(3)In vitro,the secretion of IL-2 of EL4/mB7-2 stimulated-lymphocytes was detected by using mixed lymphocytes culture.Results:pLXSN-mB7-2 and transgenetic EL4/mB7-2 cells were obained successfully.IL-2 production in 24h in the supernatant stimulated by EL4/mB7-2 was much higher than wild EL4 cells.Conclusion:EL4/mB7-2 can activated T cell to produce IL-2.This research lay foundation for the research of the function of immune-costimulating signal in the tumor immunity and treatment,the mechanism of autoimmune disease and organ transplantation.

Object To study the chemical constituents of Stelmatocrypton khasianum (Benth.) H. Baill.. Methods Some constituents were isolated by chromatographic methods and identified by physicochemical constants and their structures were elucidated by spectral data. Results Seven compounds were isolated from the stem of S. khasianum and their structures were identified as ?-sitosterol-3-O-?-D-glucoside-6′-O-eicosanate (Ⅰ), 2?, 3?, 23-trihydroxy-olean-12-ene-28-oic acid (Ⅱ), 2?, 3?, 23-trihydroxy-urs-12-ene-28-oic acid (Ⅲ), ?-sitosterol-3-O-?-D-glucoside (Ⅳ), stearic acid (Ⅴ), glucose (Ⅵ), and sucrose (Ⅶ) respectively. Conclusion All compounds were obtained from this plant for the first time, and compound I is new.
