RESUMO

Objective:To analyze the clinical characteristics and short-term prognosis of patients with acute asthmatic attack and comorbid bronchiectasis. Methods:The data of patients hospitalized for acute asthmatic attack in the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of Peking University Third Hospital from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2021 were retrospectively collected and analyzed. According to whether or not co-existing with bronchiectasis, all the patients were divided into asthmatic with bronchiectasis group and asthmatic without bronchiectasis group. Then the general conditions, comorbidities, pulmonary function test, grades of asthma severity, laboratory examination and in-hospital short-term prognosis of two groups were analyzed. Results:A total of 580 hospitalized patients with acute asthma attack were included, of which 132 cases (22.76%) were classified into asthmatic with bronchiectasis group and 448 cases (77.24%) were classified into asthmatic without bronchiectasis group. Co-existing with obsolete pulmonary tuberculosis and anxiety/depression in asthmatic with bronchiectasis group were more common than that in asthmatic without bronchiectasis group (13.64% vs 5.36%; 7.58% vs 2.68%) (both P<0.05). The pre-bronchodilator forced vital capacity (FVC) and its percentage to the predicted value (FVC%pred), forced expiratory volume in 1 second (FEV 1) and its percentage to the predicted value (FEV 1%pred), FEV 1/FVC and post-bronchodilator FEV 1 in asthmatic with bronchiectasis group were lower than those in the asthmatic without bronchiectasis group [2.44 (1.90, 3.01) vs 2.69 (2.10, 3.68) L, 1.55 (1.13, 2.00) vs 1.78 (1.25, 2.52) L, 70.14% (67.39%, 85.92%) vs 79.63% (70.00%, 89.52%), 70.00% (54.38%, 78.11%) vs 70.00% (61.47%, 85.00%), 61.57% (56.29%, 73.03%) vs 66.67% (60.00%, 75.00%), 1.72 (1.21, 2.18) vs 1.89 (1.37, 2.55) L] (all P<0.05). In previous year, the proportion of patients receiving hospitalization due to acute asthmatic attack in asthmatic with bronchiectasis group was higher than that in asthmatic without bronchiectasis group (15.15% vs 8.93%) ( P<0.05). The peak months of hospitalization due to acute asthmatic attack in asthmatic with bronchiectasis group were April, July and October, and the peak months in asthmatic without bronchiectasis group were April and September. The length of hospital stay was longer and the proportion of patients receiving invasive ventilation was higher in asthmatic with bronchiectasis group than those in asthmatic without bronchiectasis group [10.06 (7.62, 13.94) vs 9.95 (7.15, 13.76) d; 5.30% vs 2.01%] (both P<0.05). The risk factors for invasive mechanical ventilation in asthmatic patients with acute attack during hospitalization were co-existing with bronchiectasis, smoking, high level of partial pressure of carbon dioxide in arterial blood, serum creatinine and creatine kinase. Conclusion:Asthma patients with comorbid bronchiectasis have more frequent acute attack, a longer hospitalization due to acute asthmatic attack and a higher probability of invasive ventilation during hospitalization.

RESUMO

Hematopoietic progenitor kinase 1 ( HPK1 ) , also known as MAP4K1 , is a serine/threonine protein kinase and a member of the MAP4K family of mammalian Ste20-related pro¬tein kinases.Recent studies have found that HPK1 is assoeiated with the occurrence and progression of a variety of tumors, and may play an important role in some malignant tumors. This pa¬ per reviews the HPK1 signaling pathway, its relationship with tumor and drug development progress, so as to provide referenee for the research of HPK1 protein kinase.

RESUMO

Single-disease management is an important means of medical quality management, and data is the basis of single-disease management. Aiming at the problem of difficult data collection of single disease in hospital, the authors designed a solution to realize the fine management of single-disease data based on data center. The hospital optimized the data quality through overall management, unified the data collection source based on the data center, built a single-disease intelligent collection platform to complete the data collection, and calibrated the data to ensure its accuracy, so as to form a single-disease index management process and realize high-quality data collection. The average actual backfill rate was as high as 95.7%. On this basis, the hospital optimized the single-disease reporting and quality control management mode to further promote the fine management of medical quality.

RESUMO

Basic research in life science and medicine has dug into single cell level in recent years. Single-cell analysis offers to understand life from diverse perspectives and is used to profile cell heterogeneity to investigate mechanism of diseases. Single cell technologies have also found applications in forensic medicine and clinical reproductive medicine, while the techniques are rapidly evolving and have become more and more sophisticated. In this article, we reviewed various single cell isolation techniques and their pros and cons, including manual cell picking, laser capture microdissection and microfluidics, as well as analysis methods for DNA, RNA and protein in single cell. In addition, we summarized major up-to-date single cell research achievements and their potential applications.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: It remains poorly understood whether anterior column quadrilateral wing plate exists to solve intraoperative multiple plastic and quadrilateral in vivo shift for treating acetabular anterior column and acetabular quadrilateral body fractures.OBJECTIVE: To figure out the promising application on measurement of anatomical character parameters when designing acetabular anterior column and acetabular quadrilateral body using Mimics software. METHODS: 60 pelvic CT scan data were collected and three-dimensionally reconstructed by Mimics software. The following anatomical character parameters were measured, including the angle between plane of arcuate line of true pelvis and plane of quadrilateral surface, the four boundary lines of quadrilateral body, and the thickness of substance of bone in quadrilateral region. The projection curve on quadrilateral surface of acetabular margin and dangerous zone for screw placement were both drew. Above all, the study attempted to find out the proper safe entry point of quadrilateral screw and to measure their leaning inside angles.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: (1) The angle between plane of arcuate line of true pelvis and plane of quadrilateral surface was not significantly different between males and females. (2) The minimum thickness of quadrilateral body in males was larger than that in females. (3) The maximum leaning angle flapper plate screw P1 and P2 for quadrilateral body was significantly smaller in males than in females, but that of screw P3 was not significantly different between males and females. (4) The application of Mimics software made it easier, more intuitive and more practical for the design or development of new plate for acetabular anterior column and acetabular quadrilateral body. The common points and difference between acetabular anterior column and acetabular quadrilateral body could be specifically described by the new anatomical character parameters, which are defined by bone surface features of pelvis.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To study the effects of total saponins of Panax japonicus (TSPJ) on human leukemic HL-60 cells. METHODS: Human leukemic HL-60 cells were cultured in vitro. The cancer cell vigor was detected by using cell counting kit-8. Nitroblue tetrazolium (NBT) was used for measuring cell reduction. The cell cycle and the expression of differentiation antigen CD11b were detected by flow cytometry. RESULTS: Compared with the negative control group, TSPJ in different concentrations could decrease the vigor of HL-60 cells and the number of cells in S phase and up-regulate the CD11b expression, while the numbers of NBT positive cells and cells in G(0)/G(1) phase in the different concentrations of TSPJ-treated groups were increased. CONCLUSION: TSPJ can inhibit the HL-60 cell growth in vitro. Its mechanism may be related to inhibiting proliferation and inducing cell differentiation and cycle arrest.
