RESUMO

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of drug-coated balloon (DCB) for treating common femoral artery lesions. Methods: Eleven patients of single common femoral artery lesions treated with DCB were retrospectively analyzed. Results: Among 11 cases, there were 7 cases of common femoral artery occlusion and 4 cases of severe stenosis, including 9 cases of primary lesions and 2 cases of in-stent restenosis, common femoral artery alone in 6 cases, and common femoral artery disease involved superficial femoral artery in 5 cases. The technical success rate was 100%. No treatment-related complication was observed. No death occurred within 30 days after operation. Ten patients were followed up, and 12-month primary patency rate was 85.75%. No target lesion reconstruction was performed, while 2 patients underwent major amputation. Rutherford categories and ankle brachial index (ABI) values were significantly improved on 12-month follow-up compared with those before operation (both P< 0.05). Conclusion: DCB has good short-term efficacy and high safety for treatment of common femoral artery lesions.

RESUMO

Objective To investigate the effect of macrophage FRβ expression on bleomycin induced pulmonary fibrosis(PF) in mice. Methods The rats were divided into the normal group, control group and experimental group,6 cases in each group. The mice were performed the PF induction. The experimental group was treated with immunotoxin, the control group was given the contrast protein and the normal group was not treated. The mouse left lung was used for histological analysis, and the right lung was used for hydroxyproline analysi s.The effect of macrophage FRβ expression on bleomycin induced pulmonary fibrosis in mice and the pulmonary macrophage FRβ expression in the patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis(UIP) were detected. Results The macrophage FRβ expression mainly existed in the patients with UIP and pulmonary fibrosis area of PF mice induced by bleomycin;the survival rate was significantly increased by giving the mice immunotoxin with nose(P=0.003),and the level of total hydroxyproline and fibrosis of PF mice induced by bleomycin was decreased(P=0.009,0.014);immunohistochemistry results showed that immunotoxin could reduce the cells number of lung tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-α,chemotactic CCL2 and CCL12 cells inPF mice induced by bleomycin(P=0.000).Conclusion The FRβ expression of macrophages plays a pathogenic role in IPF,and the targeted therapy of FRβ expression in macrophages may be an effective method for the treatment of IPF.

RESUMO

The research observed the effect of Yiqigubiao Pill regulating inflammatory reaction mRNA expression in JAK/STAT pathway in COPD rats model and explored protective effect of Yiqigubiao pills in the treatment or auxiliary possible mechanism in COPD. 60 SFP Wistar rats were divided randomly into control group (CN), COPD model group (M) and Yiqigubiao Pill group (Yqgb). The rats in group M and group YQGB were establish by using the method of LPS and smoking as COPD, rats in group M and group CN were given normal saline intragastric administration, and rats in the YQGB group were given water solution intragastric administration at the corresponding dose, twice a day. After using drugs for 12 weeks, we used ELISA method to detect changes inIL-17a, IL-23, IFN-γ and RORγt expression in peripheral blood, RT-PCR method to detect changes in the expression of JAK1, JAK3, STAT1 and STAT3 mRNA in lung tissues. Compared with the group CN, the infiltration of inflammatory cells stained by HE in the experimental group was reduced, and the diameter of the bronchial lumen was broadened (P < 0.01). Both of ELISA and RT-PCR results showed that, compared with group CN, the levels of IL-17a, IL-23 and RORγt, the levels of JAK1, JAK3, STAT1, and STAT3 mRNA were increased in group M. Compared with group M, the mRNA levels of above indicators in group Yqgb were decreased, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.01). Correlation analysis revealed that JAK1, JAK3, STAT1 and STAT3 were associated with IL-17a, IL-23, and RORγt had statistical significance (P < 0.05). Therefore, Yiqgubiao Pill can inhibit the inflammatory response in COPD rats model, and its mechanism may be associated with inhibition of JAK/STAT pathway.
