RESUMO

0.05);but statistical significance was found between the ?-hGH group with rhGH+GPT group and CPT group (P 0.05).Conclusions The results demonstrate that ?-hGH had no influence on the level of CEA,cAMP and cGMP of the transplanted colonic COLO-320 cell line carcinoma in nude mice.

RESUMO

0.05]. CONCLUSIONS: The currents of voltage-gated potassium channel was inhibited by chronic hypoxic. The inhibitory effect of cGMP on currents of voltage-gated potassium channel in PASMCs from both normal and chronic hypoxic rats may be probably through the phosphorylation of voltage-gated potassium channel.

RESUMO

AIM: To study the effect of xin-tong capsule on nitric oxide production and cGMP content of ventricular myocardium in rats with experimental myocardial ischemia. METHODS: Rat model of acute myocardial ischemia induced by pituitrin was used in this study, and the lift of ST segment in ECG was used as the index of myocardial ischemia. The NO - 2/NO - 3 and cGMP contents of ventricular myocardium in rats with myocardial ischemia were determined.RESULTS: NO - 2/NO - 3 and cGMP contents in ventricular myocardium of myocardial ischemia were (486?59) nmol/g protein and (0.38?0.08) nmol/g protein, respectively, and markedly lower than those of control [(1057?145) nmol/g protein and (0.70?0.09) nmol/g protein] ( P

RESUMO

AIM: To investigate the possible role of endothelin(ET-1) in asthma pathogenesis and the effect of atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) on changes of ET-1. METHODS: Measuring the contents of endothelin-1(ET-1),atrial natriuretic factor(ANF),cGMP in plasma and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) of guinea pigs. RESULTS: The contents of ET-1, ANF and cGMP in asthma group were higher than that of the control group; There was a significant negative correlation between ET-1 and ANF( r=-0.638,P

RESUMO

Objective To explore the mechanism of Shema Zhichuan Liquid (SZL) for asthma. Methods Forty rats were allocated to normal control group (Group A), model group (Group B),western medicine group (Group C) and SZL group (Group D). Radioimmunoassay was used to observe the levels of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) and cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP) and the ratio of cAMP/cGMP.Results After treatment, cAMP level and cAMP/cGMP ratio were increased and cGMP level decereased in Group C and Group D as compared with Group B (P

RESUMO

Objective:To examine the effects of acute or chronic administration of 7-nitro indazole (7-NI) on the MAC of sevoflurane and cerebellar cGMP levels in mice. Method:In acute experiment, sevoflurane MAC was determined in mice after 7-NI 120mg/kg, 180mg/kg or 120mg/kg plus L-arginine 600mg/kg was given intraperitoneally. During chronic experiment, MAC was measured on 1st, 4th and 7th day during week-long gavage feeding of 7-NI. The levels of cerebellar cGMP also were measured after acute and chronic administration of 7-NI. Result:Acute administration of 7-NI 120mg/kg decreased sevoflurane MAC by about 20% and cerebellar cGMP level by 96%. 7-NI 180mg/kg did decrease MAC not more than 7-NI 120mg/kg. No significant reduction of MAC was observed in mice treated by intraperitoneal 7-NI 120mg/kg+L-arginine 600mg/kg. In chronic experiment, sevoflurane MAC and cerebellar cGMP were decreased significantly on 1st 4th and 7th day to the similar extend, with 15%-20% reduction in MAC and 46%-60% in cGMP levels. Conclusion:Acute and chronic selective inhibition of nNOS decreases sevoflurane MAC and cerebellar cGMP levels in mice. The maximal reduction (only about 20%) of MAC can be obtained when cGMP levesl are decreased about 50% and further inhibition of generation of cGMP does not produce more enhancement to the potency of sevoflurane anesthesia. No compensatory mechanism for the inhibition of L-Arg-NO-cGMP pathway appears during week-long treatment with 7-NI.

RESUMO

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of different Ca~(2+) concentrations on the ventricular fibrillation threshold(VFT) in the acute reg- ional ischemic isolated, paced rat hearts and to investigate their relations to the levels of cAMP, cGMP and ATP in the myocardium. It was demonstrated that a positive correlation was observed between [Ca~(2+)] and the percentage of VFT lowered in the ischemic hearts (r=0.7998, P

RESUMO

Intracerebroventricular administration of purified EC induced a fall in rectal temperature of rabbits with an increase in ear skin temperature. Only 1/80th the amout of purified EC injected i. v. produced a comparable fall in rectal temperature when injected into the lateral ventricle of rabbits. ICV administration of purified EC resulted in a more rapid fall in rectal temperature than i. v. administration. This evidence strongly supports the hypothesis that EC has a primary site of action in the central nervous system. After intravenous administration of purified EC, with a fall in rectal temperature there was a significant decrease in levels of cyclic AMP in the cerebrospinal fluid of rabbits, but no change was found in levels of cyclic GMP in the cerebrospinal fluid. These data suggest that EC might induce hypothermia in rabbits by lowering levels of cyclic AMP in the brain and that cyclic GMP might not be involved in hypothermia caused by EC.

RESUMO

In this model, carrageenin was used to induce pleurisy in rat. cAMP was measured with protein binding assay and cGMP with radioimmunoassay. The invest igation was designed to study the anti-exudative influence of the electric acupuncture in the process of inflammation with changes in cAMP, cGMP concentrations and their rel- ationship with the amount of exudete. The results showed that 12 to 24 hrs after inflammation, with the increase of exudate, cAMP concentration decreased and cGMP concentration increased. The exudate of the acupuncture group was obviosly less than in the control group (P

RESUMO

The levels of cyclic nucleotides(CAMP and CGMP)in the serum and braest tissues of 60 patients with breast cancer or benign breast diseases were measured. It was found that the CAMP level was significantly lower, the CGMP significantly higher and the CAMP/ CGMP ratio was reduced in the serum and breast tissues of the patients with breast cancer. Our findings suggest that CAMP and CGMP might be factors of importance in the origin and development of breast cancer.
