How to Combat White Spot Lesion In Orthodonticcases - Review Study.

All over the world fixed orthodontic cases face a common problem –enamel hypoplasia that is white spot lesion. It can be remineralised by brushing with fluoridated toothpaste, fluoride mouth rinses and topical application of fluoride gel/foam. Efficiency of remineralisation is enhanced with daily usage of 0.05%(225ppm) sodium fluoride or 0.2% (900ppm) weekly; or with 0.4%Stannous Fluoride gel. But Stannous Fluoride stains the enamel. Enamel can also be remineralised with casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate(CCP-ACP). Remineralised white spot lesion can be bleached to mask the colour and can be microabraded followed by bleaching leaving a highly polished surface with calcium phosphate packed into the interprismatic enamel surface area.

Efficacy Observation of Moist Exposed Burn Ointment for White Lesions of the Vulva Treated with Focused Ultrasound / 中国药房

OBJECTIVE:To explore the protective effect of Moist exposed burn ointment (MEBO) on skin of therapy area after white lesions of the vulva were treated by focused ultrasound. METHODS:128 patients with white lesions of the vulva underwent focused ultrasound were randomized into trial group and control group. Trial group were treated with MEBO and control group with lithospermi oil. Efficacies of two groups were observed and degree of comfort and satisfaction in both groups were compared. RESULTS:No significant difference were observed in therapeutic effect and duration of edema elimination between two groups. @# ObjectiveTo observe the effects of medical membrane of combination of the traditional Chinese medicine with the western medicine on white lesion of the vulva.Methods141 cases of white lesion of the vulva were put on vulvar pathological area with the medical membrane, twice a day.ResultsThe total effective rate was 98.5%.ConclusionThe effect of medical membrane of combining the traditional Chinese medicine with the western medicine is very satisfying.
