RESUMO

OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects of Compound Ligusticum chuanxiong drop pill on hemorheology and blood gas in model rats with diabetic nephropathy(DN). METHODS:60 rats were randomly divided into normal control group,model group, positive control group [Irbesartan tablet,0.013 g/(kg·d)] and Compound L. chuanxiong drop pill high-dose,medium-dose,low-dose groups [0.4,0.2,0.1 g/(kg·d)],10 in each group. Except for normal control group,rats in other groups were given high-sugar high-fat feed and intraperitoneally injected streptozotocin to reduce DN model. After 7 d modeling,rats in each group received relat-ed drugs intragastrically,once a day,10 mL/kg;normal control group and model group received equal volume of purified water in-tragastrically. After 64 d,hemorheology indicators [whole blood viscosity(high-shear,medium-shear and low-shear),plasma viscosi-ty,whole blood reduced viscosity] and blood gas indicators(carbon dioxide partial pressure,oxygen partial pressure,hemoglobin content,oxygen saturation,ratio of oxygenated hemoglobin to total protein) of rats were determined,hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to observe the pathological changes in kidney tissue. RESULTS:Compared with normal control group,hemorheology indi-cators and carbon dioxide partial pressure in model group were significantly increased(P<0.05 or P<0.01),oxygen partial pres-sure,hemoglobin content,oxygen saturation,ratio of oxygenated hemoglobin to total protein were significantly decreased(P<0.05 or P<0.01),with severe kidney damage. Compared with model group,except the improvement of carbon dioxide partial pressure, oxygen partial pressure,hemoglobin content in rats were not significant in Compound L. chuanxiong drop pill low-dose group,the above-mentioned indicators in other medicine groups were significantly improved(P<0.05 or P<0.01);the kidney tissue damage was improved to varying degree. CONCLUSIONS:Compound L. chuanxiong drop pill can significantly improve the hemorheology indicators of DN model rats,reduce blood viscosity,improve microcirculation and capacity of the blood to transport oxygen,and has certain improvement effect on kidney tissue morphology of DN rats.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical effect and safety of coronary artery disease (CAD) treated with Shexiang-baoxin pill and Complex Danshen drop pill.MethodsArticles of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) about the treatment of CAD with Shexiang-baoxin pill and Complex Danshen drop pill were retrieved and the quality of these studies were analyzed by RevMan 5.1.6 software with Meta analysis.Results Seven studies involving 603 patients were included.The results of meta-analysis showed that the experimental group was better in ameliorating angina symptoms of angina pectoris patients [RR=1.33,95%CI (1.21,1.45),P<0.01 ] and ECG [RR=1.55,95%CI (1.34,1.79),P<0.01 ] than the control group.Adverse reaction rate of the experimental group and the control group was 6.85% and 14.38% respectively,the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).ConclusionThe existing researches demonstrated that Shexiang-baoxin pill was better in treating CAD angina pectoris than Complex Danshen drop pill.

RESUMO

This study evaluated the efficacy ofrabdosia rubescens against gingivitis and compared the therapeutic efficacy of different dosage forms of rabdosia rubescens. A multi-center, randomized, dou-ble-blind, double-simulation, positive-controlled and parallel trial was conducted. A total of 136 patients exhibiting clinical symptoms of gingivitis were enrolled. The subjects were randomly assigned to two groups: test group (n=67), in which rabdosia rubescens drop pill (960 mg) and 4 tablets of simulation agent of rabdosia rubescen were orally given to the subjects three times a day for 5 days; and control group (n=69), in which the subjects were administered the tablets of rabdosia rubescens (1000 mg) and 24 drop pills of simulation agent of rabdosia rubescens thrice daily for 5 days. The experimental proto-cols and diagnostic criteria were established by expert panel prior to the experiment. The clinical symp-toms were graded according to the severity of the disease and quantified. The total scores and scores for each clinical symptom of gingivitis were assessed at baseline and on the 6th day post-treatment. The therapeutic efficacy was compared between the two groups and in each group itself before and after the treatment. The results showed that in the two groups, the subjects who were given rabdosia rubescens,drop pill or tablet, had a decrease in total scores and scores for each clinical symptom when compared with those before treatment (P<0.01). There was significant difference in the therapeutic efficacy be-tween the test group and the control group with the efficacy rate being 92.54% and 79.71% respectively (P<0.05). It was concluded that rabdosia rubescens showed great promise in treating gingivitis. And rabdosia rubescens drop pill was more efficacious than rabdosia rubescens tablet.

RESUMO

[Objective]To study the optimum techniques making Anxinkang drop pills. [ Methods ] Using parallel experimentation for the choice of Matrix and refrigerant,dropping distance and rate,the temperranture of refrigerant.Using orthogonal experimentation for the choice of proportion of extract and Matrix,proportion of extract,water and glycerin, the temperature of drug solution.with quality of outward appearance as the evalution quota to decide the best dropping condition.[ Results ]The optimum technique was that PEG6000∶PEG4000(3∶2) as matrix,Methyl-siliconoil:liquid-paraffin(3∶1) is refigerant.Internal and external diameter of burette are equal to 2.5mm and 3mm .Drug is dropping into the refrigerant of about15~20 drop per minute [ conclusion ] The oplimum techniques are feasible and accord with the quality standards of drop pills.

OBJECTIVE:To study the optimum formation technics of Xuesaitong drop pill.METHODS:Parallel tests were conducted on the dosage of different base materials and the main drug with the forming percentage and the rate of qualified weight as the index of evaluation,the orthogonal test was conducted on the4factors,including the temperature of drops and the liquor condensate,the drug height in the drug storage tank and the dropping distance.RESULTS:The ratio of base materials and the main drug was2.5∶1.The optimum forming technics could be seen as follows,the height of the drug storage tank was3cm,the temperature of drops was90℃,the dropping distance was5cm and the temperature of the liquor condensate was12.5℃.CONCLUSION:There was a high rate of end product of dropping pill prepared with this optimum process,which was in conformity with the standard stated in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia.

RESUMO

[Objective] To optimize the preparation technology of Maodongqing Drop Pill (MDP). [Methods] Orthogonal design was used to observe the influence of preparation conditions such as dry extract content, dry extract gram size, gel forming matrix and cooling agents on the quality of MDP. [Results] MDP made under the optimized conditions was good in shape, and color and luster, and not adhesive, indicating the good quality of the product. [Conclusion] This optimized preparation technology of MDP is simple with satisfied technique parameters and is suitable for mass production in the enterprises.

RESUMO

Objective To observe the effect of Xin Guanxin Suhe Drop Pill(XGSDP) on isoprenaline (ISO)-induced acute myocardial ischemia (AMI).Methods Acute myocardial ischemia rats model were established by injection of ISO. Electrocardiogram (ECG) was observed, superoxide dismutase(SOD) activity, and the contents of malondialdehyde(MDA) and nitric oxide (NO) in the myocardial homogenate as well as serum and glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase (GOT) were observed after ISO injection. Results XGSDP could significantly increase NO content and SOD activity, decrease contents of MDA and GOT and reduce the positive rate of ECG( P

RESUMO

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect and safety of Huangqi Danshen Drop Pill (HDP) for angina pectoris (AP) due to coronary heart disease (CHD) classified as qi- deficiency and blood- stasis syndrome. Methods A multi- center, randomized, double- blind, double- simulation, positive- controlled, parallel group trial was adopted. 209 cases of AP due to CHD classified as qi- deficiency and blood- stasis syndrome were enrolled in this study: 104 in HDP group and 105 in Yangxinshi Tablets group. Results The markedly effective rate was 43.27 % , total effective rate 86.53 % , and total effective rate in improving TCM symptoms 92.31 % in HDP group, which were better than those in Yangxinshi Tablets group(P

RESUMO

Objective To observe the effect of Huangqi Danshen Drop Pill(HDDP) on pituitary (Pit) induced acute myocardium ischemia. Methods Acute myocardium ischemia rat model was established by sublingual venous injection of Pit(0. 35U/kg). The changes of the T wave ( II channel ECG) and serum contents of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), CK, superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) were observed in various times after Pit injection. Results HDDP could significantly lower the height of T waves, increase SOD activity and decrease MDA content. Conclusion HDDP can improve acute myocardium ischemia induced by Pit.

AIM: To selecte the best process for Kangfuxin Drop Pills. METHODS: With appearance,weight coefficient of variation and dissolution time for index sign,orthogonal design was applied. RESULTS: The results indicated that the excellent factors and levels were as follows: the scale between PEG6000 and drug extraction was four to one,the temperature of drug fluid was at 85 ?C,drip rate was 40 drops/min. CONCLUSION: The method adopted is steady and feasible.

OBJECTIVE:To study the pharmacodynamics of Xuanguizhitong drop pill in the treatment of pain caused by Qi-blood Stasis. METHODS: Xuanguizhitong drop pill were prepared into 3 different doses (0.25,0.5, and 1 g?kg-1) with new distilled water. The effects of Xuanguizhitong drop pill at different dose in promoting blood flow, analgesia, anti-inflammatory effect, the ability of anoxia-tolerance at ordinary pressure, and improving the hemorheology indexes in blood stasis model animals were compared. RESULTS: Xuanguizhitong drop pill were remarkable in analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anticoagulant effects and anoxia-tolerance ability at ordinary pressure.The hyperviscosity, thickness, coagulation and accumulation of blood caused by "cold accumulation" in the blood stasis syndrome model rabbits were also improved significantly by Xuanguizhitong drop pill.CONCLUSION:Xuanguizhitong drop pill has remarkable analgesic effect and can promote blood flow to a certain extent.
