A teoria do puberal em Jacques Lacan / The theory of puberty in Jacques Lacan

Resumo: A hipótese defendida neste artigo é dupla. Em primeiro lugar, uma teorização implícita do puberal é necessária, por sua importância lógica, para autores que não trataram do tema. Em segundo lugar, a teorização implícita sobre o puberal em Jacques Lacan pode ser extraída de um artigo de Jacques-Alain Miller: O Outro do Outro. Na transição entre o Outro do Outro e não existe Outro do Outro - presente no Seminário 5 e seguintes - Lacan faz um avanço que pode assemelhar-se ao percurso da criança tornando-se púbere: queda do pai imaginário do Édipo e revelação de S(A barrado). Assim, dir-se-ia que uma mudança de paradigma na teoria tem, ela mesma, um valor teórico (como na passagem da primeira à segunda tópica em Freud), que teria escapado ao autor e que, portanto, continua em aberto.

Abstract: This article defends a double hypothesis: that an implicit theorisation of puberty is a necessity among psychoanalytic authors who have not dealt with this subject (because of its logical importance); that Lacan’s own theorisation can be extracted from an article by Jacques-Alain Miller, L’Autre de l’Autre. In the movement from l’Autre de l’Autre to il n’y a pas d’Autre de l’Autre - which corresponds to the shift between Seminar V and the following seminars - the step taken by Lacan can resemble the journey of the child’s entrance into puberty: the fall of the imaginary father of Oedipus and the revelation of S(A). We could therefore say that, unbeknownst to him, a paradigm change in an author’s theory has its own theoretical value (akin to Freud’s movement from the first to the second topography), which should be discovered.

Lacan and Adolescence: The Contemporary Clinic of the "Sexual Non-rapport" and Pornography.

This article explores two clinical phenomena-pornography and conspiracy thinking-that are highly relevant today and can be observed specifically among adolescent boys in the early stages of post-puberty: conspiracy thinking and the viewing of pornographic videos. It shows that the Lacanian concepts of the Real (of puberty) and the sexual non-rapport help us understand the psychopathological aspects of these two phenomena. Watching pornographic material becomes equivalent to a conspiracy theory about the sexual non-rapport; both in fact deny the effect of what puberty introduces as radically new.

As transformações corporais na adolescência causam efração na criança, além de suas simples manifestações formais. A novidade puberal se impõe, de fato, como real puberal (real no sentido lacaniano), qualificada de Feminino ou de advento do Outro sexo. Esta perspectiva teórica se inscreve na pura continuidade dos textos de Freud, como é revelado por uma releitura permitida pelas contribuições do estruturalismo e de Lacan. Duas situações clínicas (de fato, dois personagens de filme) ilustram este relato.

Body and pubertal novelty. Body transformations in adolescence break in the child besides their simple formal disclosures. The pubertal novelty imposes itself as the real pubertal (real in the Lacanian sense), qualified as Feminine or coming from the other gender. This theoretical perspective inscribes itself in the pure continuity of the Freudian texts, as it is revealed by a new reading permitted by Lacan's and structuralism contributions. Two clinical situations (in fact two movie characters) will illustrate this report.
