ABSTRACT

@#Nowadays, the popularization of endoscopic technology makes a substantial increase in the diagnosis rate of esophageal multiple primary carcinoma. However, the multiple primary carcinoma combined with esophageal cancer, lung cancer and cardiac cancer is relatively rare. This paper reported a 64-year-old male with multiple primary cancer who received one-stage complex radical surgery, including radical resection of esophageal cancer, lung cancer and cardiac cancer. After the operation, the patient presented chylothorax and conservative treatment was ineffective. Then we preformed ligation of thoracic duct through single-portal thoracoscope. The patient recovered successfully after surgery and the follow-up results showed well.

ABSTRACT

Diagnosis of acute heart ischemia induced by coronary artery spasm(CAS)is not clear yet.We have systematically studied the histopathological,enzyme-histochemical and ultrastructural of the autolytic and the ischemic changes ofthe raf's heart induced by the injection of the pitutrin into the rat's sublingualvein. The PTAH stain demonstrated that some irregular transverse bands hadappeared in the muscular fibers. The adenosine triphosphatase activity in smallarteries was decreased. The author suggests that the results are helpful fordignosis of acute heart ischemia caused by CAS.

ABSTRACT

Six cases of suicidal sedative-soporific drug poisoning is reported. The main clinical features were coma, respiratory depression, hypotension, disappearance of reflexes and peripherel circulatory failure.Thepathological fingdings were as follows:pulmonary congestion and edema;fatty degeneration of the liver;degeneration of the epithalial cells of the proximal convoluted tubules and cerebral edema. The severityof the pathological changes depend upon the duration between the drug administration and the time of deathThe longer the course, the more prominent the changes. The fatality rate related with the dose of drugadministration, the underlying deseases and the complications.

ABSTRACT

Methaqualone and 2-methyl-3 [2- (hydroxymethyl) phenyl]- 4 (3H) quinazolinone (metabolite I) concentrations in human serum wereanalyzed quantitatively by reverse high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC). The concentrations of methaqualone ranging from 1-35?g/ml were in good linear relationship(Correlation coefficient r = 0. 9980, regression line y = 0. 06324x-0. 1029), The average recovery of methaqualone reached as high as 102.08?9. 987(SD)% (n= 5). The detective limit was 1 ng. The relative quantity of metabolite I was determined according to the linear concentration of methaqulone. RP-HPLC assay is proved to be useful in determening blood methaqualone and metabolite I concentrations in forensic toxicology.
