RESUMEN

Objective:To investigate the pathogen distribution and antimicrobial resistance among lower respiratory tract infections in patients with hematological malignancies.Methods:Sputum samples were collected from 967 patients with hematological malignancies and lower respiratory tract infections in Department of Hematology,the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2017 to July 2020. The pathogens and drug sensitivity reports were carried out by automatic bacterial identification instruments. WHONET 5.6 and SPSS 20.0 softwares were used for statistical analysis.Results:A total of 961 strains of pathogens were isolated, 516 (53.7%) pathogens were Gram-negative bacteria, mainly 118 strains of Klebsiella pneumonia (12.3%), 68 strains of Pseudomonas aeruginosa (7.1%), 67 strains of Acinetobacter baumannii (7.0%),52 strains of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (5.4%), 43 strains of Escherichia coli (4.5%), and 42 strains of Enterbacter cloacae (4.4%). There were 171 (17.8%) strains of Gram-positive bacteria and 274 (28.5%) fungi. The drug resistance rates of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter baumannii to carbapenem were 22.1%-31.3%. Stenotrophomonas maltophilia was sensitive to levofloxacin, compound sulfamethoxazole and minocycline. The antimicrobial resistance rates of these three enterobacteria to carbapenems, cefoperazone/sulbactam, piperacillin/tazobactam were low (<10%). The resistant Gram-positive bacteria to ticoplanin, vancomycin and linazolamide were not detected.Conclusion:The major pathogens related to lower respiratory tract infections in patients with hematological malignancies are gram-negative bacteria in our centre. Different pathogens appear different characteristics of antimicrobial resistance.

RESUMEN

Traditional Chinese herb compound is a prescription formulated according to the theory of Chinese medicine, and it is a commonly used method of Chinese medicine. As one of the main active ingredients, the extraction methods of polysaccharides from traditional Chinese herb compound include solvent extraction, ultrasonic assisted extraction, microwave assisted extraction and microbial fermentation extraction. The traditional Chinese herb compound polysaccharide has antitumor, immunoregulatory, intestinal mucosa repair, hypoglycemic, antiviral, antioxidant and other pharmacological activities. In this paper, the extraction methods of polysaccharides from traditional Chinese herb compound and its pharmacological activities were summarized, so as to provide scientific evidence for a better development and utilization of traditional Chinese herb compound polysaccharide.

Objective@#To explore the clinical application of ultra-pulsed CO2 laser skin abrasion combined with micro-skin graft in the treatment of skin depigmentation.@*Methods@#From January 2010 to June 2014, depigmented skin specimens were used for ultra-pulsed CO2 laser skin abrasion treatment, at 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 mJ. HE stain was performed to observe the abrasion depth under the 100 times microscope view. The most appropriate parameter was set to completely remove the epidermis, and leave dermis undamaged. From January 2011 to December 2017, 16 patients with skin depigmentation, 12 males and 4 females, aged 12-47 years, were treated with super-pulsed carbon dioxide laser and autologous microdermis transplantation. At 1, 3, 6 and 12 months after the operation, patients′ photos were record. The color improvement was analyzed using Image-Pro Plus 6.0 software.@*Results@#The laser energy for complete epidermis removal is different at different sites. It is 50 mJ for back skin, 40 mJ for face and hand skin and 30 mJ for neck skin. After one year of follow-up, there was no hypertrophy scar caused by over-abrasion in all 16 patients. Combined with the micro-skingrafting, 15 patients with skin depigmentation were completely resolved, with more than 90%color improvement rate. The improvement rate was 75% in a patient with un-uniform appearance, due to part failure of micro-skin graft. The neck movement and uncertain fixation were the reasons.@*Conclusions@#The appropriate energy parameters can control the abrasion depth to avoid the hypertrophic scar. Combined with micro-skin graft, the depigmentation area can be improved with uniform color and reliable effect.

Objective@#To explore the subunit strategy for perineal defect reconstruction and flap selection.@*Methods@#This is a respective study of 21 patients, with perineal defect, during January 2008 to December 2018. All patients were admitted to the fifth section of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the Fourth Medical Center of the People′s Liberation Army General Hospital. There were 10 males and 11 females, aged from 4 to 68 years old, with the mean age of 26.4 years. The causes of injury included burn (n=11), trauma (n=2), Paget′s disease (n=2), Brown′s disease (n=2), perineal squamous cell carcinoma (n=3)and hemangioma (n=1). The perineum is divided into 4 subunits, according to the anatomical structure: a front area monsveneris or pubic symphysis, 2 middle areas (labia or scrotum) and a posterior area (anal). The defects ranged 23 cm×11 cm-5 cm×3 cm after perineal lesions were removed. Appropriate flaps were selected based on tissue defect.@*Results@#Nine patients were repaired with superficial inferior epigastric artery flap, 3 patients were repaired with superficial circumflex iliac artery flap, and 2 patients were repaired with combined superficial inferior epigastric artery flap and superficial circumflex iliac artery island flap. Internal pudendal arterial perforator flap was performed in 5 patients, and anterolateral thigh perforator flap in 2 patients. The size of flap was 25 cm×12 cm-6 cm×3 cm. All flaps survived, and incisions were primary healing. Patients were followed up for 6 months to 9 years, with an average of 13 months. The patients were satisfied with the appearances and functions of the recipient and doner sites. Scars were concealed well.@*Conclusions@#Appropriate flap can be chosen to repair perineal defects, based on the subunit principle in perineum, in order to restore function and appearance, and achieve satisfactory clinical outcomes.

Objective To explore the clinical features, curative effects and prognosis of patients with psoriasis related acute leukemia. Methods The clinical data of 39 cases in the Second Hospital Shanxi Medical University from January 2011 to June 2016 were collected, and their clinical features and prognosis were analyzed retrospectively. Results Of 39 patients, 28 were males and 11 were females, with the median age of 42 years (13-76 years), the median time that suffering from psoriasis were 10 years (1-30 years); There were 23 (59.0 %) patients with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL), 13 (33.3 %) patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and 3 (7.7 %) patients with B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia (B-ALL). In patients with recurrence, there were 4 patients with APL, 4 patients with AML, and 1 patient with B-ALL. Single factor analysis showed that the type of PML-RARαfusion gene isoform and the time of suffering from psoriasis were the influencing factors of patients with APL recurrence (both P<0.05), but they were not the independent risk factors (both P>0.05) based on multivariate analysis. The complete remission (CR) rates of patients with psoriasis related APL and AML were 96%(22/23) and 46%(6/13), the 3-year overall survival (OS) rates were 96%and 44%, 3-year relapse free survival (RFS) rates were 77%and 38%, respectively. Conclusions In patients with psoriasis related acute leukemia, the largest population is APL patients, and they have a better prognosis. However, patients with psoriasis related AML and ALL have low CR rate and OS rate, and the allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation should be considered after remission.

Objective To explore a method of subsection adjustment for the proportion of three capacity nutrients in patients with metabolic syndrome (MS).Methods Totally 334 MS patients who were diagnosed in the physical examination center and the department of endocrinology and nutrition of Xi'an Central Hospital Affiliated to Xi'an Jiaotong University of School of Medicine were enrolled in this study.According to calculator random digital method,the patients were divided into intervention group (n=168) and the control group (n=166).The energy of two groups were calculated according to the following formula,y =13.5-0.025x1 + 0.215x2-0.006x3+0.342x4-0.268x5+0.623x6 (x1:age,x2:activity intensity index,x3:waist circumference,x4:environmental temperature,x5:BMI,x6:sex).The limit of daily energy was set to 5.02-7.53 MJ.The proportion of the three major nutrients for energy was adjusted of different energy segments of intervention group.When the daily energy was 5.02 MJ,the protein energy ratio was 30%,and the energy increased by 0.42 MJ per time while the protein energy supply ratio was reduced by 2.5%.The energy ratio of carbohydrate was 40%,and the energy increased 0.42 MJ per time while the energy ratio increased by 2.5%.The energy ratio of fat was 30% on various stages of energy supply.The energy proportions of the three major nutrients in the control group were as follows:protein 15%,fat 25%,and carbohydrate 60%.Results After the intervention by 6 months,the 2-hour postprandial blood glucose of intervention group decreased from (9.22±5.57) mmol/L to (6.05±4.68) mmol/L,the hemoglobin A 1 c decreased from (6.79 ± 1.12) % to (5.56± 1.32) %,and the triglyceride decreased from (3.14±1.73) mmol/L to (1.72±1.17) mmol/L.There was significant difference compared with those in control group (P =0.000,0.027,0.034).Conclusion The proportions of the three major nutrients in MS can remarkably improve the glucose and lipid metabolism in MS patients.

Objective To analyze the clinical features and risk factors for an emerging infection during the first induction chemotherapy in elderly patients with acute leukemia.Methods A retrospective analysis of clinical data of 79 elderly patients with newly diagnosed acute leukemia was performed in Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University from January 2014 to May 2016.Results The 70 cases among 79 elderly patients with acute leukemia were suffered from infection with infection incidence rate of 88.6% (70/79)during first induction chemotherapy.The infection-related fatality rate was 8.6 % (6/70).Being clear about sites of infection accounted for 90.0 % (63/70),and the top three infection sites were the lungs,gastrointestinal tract and the bloodstream.113 pathogenic strains were detected,including gram-negative bacilli accounting for 42.5 % (48/113),Gram-positive cocci for 30.1% (34/113),fungi for 24.8% (28/113),the virus for 2.7% (3/113).Based on clinically and confirmatively diagnosis,the invasive fungal diseases mostly as Candida accounted for 30.4 % (24/79),mixed infections accounted for 34.3% (24/70).Univariate analysis showed agranulocytosis and AML were risk factors for infection.Logistic multivariate regression analysis showed that agranulocytosis was a risk factor for infection (OR=12.010,95%CI:2.346-107.973,P=0.000).The infection does not affect a complete remission rate of acute leukemia (x2 =0.001,P=0.983).Conclusions For newly diagnosed elderly acute leukemia patients,an emerging infection during the first induction chemotherapy is characterized by a high incidence,high fungal infection rate,most common site in lung,Gram-negative bacteria as most common pathogen,and an increased infection rate by agranulocytosis.The infection does not affect the remission rate of acute leukemia.

Objective To analyze the infection features,risk factors,and the relationship with the efficacy in patients with acute leukemia during initial induction chemotherapy.Methods The clinical data of 200 patients with newly diagnosed acute leukemia from January 2015 to February 2016 in the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University were retrospectively analyzed.Results The infection rate of patients with acute leukemia under induction chemotherapy was 84.0% (168/200).Among 168 patients with infection,159 cases (94.6%) had known infection sites,the top three infection sites were the lungs,gastrointestinal tract and the oral cavity.Total 213 strains of pathogens were identified,Gram-negative bacilli accounted for 39.0% (n =83),Gram-positive cocci for 34.3% (n =73),fungi for 23.5% (n =50) and the virus for 3.3% (n =7).Multivariate regression analysis showed that agranulocytosis was the independent risk factor for acute leukemia patients during induction chemotherapy (OR =14.370,95% CI:2.576-116.518,P < 0.01).The rate of complete remission (CR) and CR with incomplete hematologic recovery (CRi) in infection group was 74.4% (125/168),and the rate of CR + CRi in non-infected group was 87.5% (28/32),and there was no significant difference between the two groups.(χ2 =2.564,P =0.109).Conclusion During the induction therapy for acute leukemia patients,the rate of infection and the rate of fungal infection are high;lung is the most common site,Gram-negative bacteria is more common;agranulocytosis increases the chance of infection;and the infection may not affect the disease remission rate.

Objective To analyze the iodine nutritional status and the trend of children aged 8-10 years in Tongchuan City after the implementation of the new iodized salt standard,and to provide scientific basis for prevention and treatment of iodine deficiency disorders (IDD) in the region.Methods In 2013-2015,one town was selected respectively from 5 areas (east,west,south,north,center) in 4 counties of the city.A central primary school was selected in each sampled town,42 children aged 8-10 years in every school were selected for detection of the thyroid volume by palpation,and for collection of 15 urine samples for determination of urinary iodine (42 urine samples were collected in 2015).Four villages were selected from each town,15 residents were selected to determine salt iodide content by quantitative detection.Urinary iodine was tested using arsenic cerium catalytic spectrophotometry (WS/T 107-2006).Salt iodine was tested using direct titration method (the arbitration method was adopted for quantitative determination in the case of Sichuan salt or other special salts,GB/T 13025.7-2012).Results The thyroid palpate welling rate was 3.40% (29/854),4.52% (38/840) and 2.98% (25/840) in children aged 8-10,respectively,and there was no statistical significant difference between different years (x2 =3.078,P >0.05).Totally,1 320 urine samples were collected from 8-10 years old children,the median of urinary iodine (MUI) was 185.14 μg/L;in the 3 years,the MUI in each year was 229.43,183.34 and 173.80 μg/L,respectively.The proportion of urinary iodine under 50 μg/L was less than 20%,under 100 μg/L was also far below 50%;urinary iodine proportion in 100 ~ < 200 μg/L rose year by year.There were significant differences in the MUI among the 8 and 9 years age groups (H =12.736,10.128,P < 0.05),there was no significant difference in the 10 years age group (H =3.849,P > 0.05).In gender groups,there was significant difference in the MUI among male children (H =9.261,P< 0.05),there was no significant difference in the MUI among female children (H =4.759,P > 0.05).The median of salt iodine was 24.10,24.75 and 24.10 mg/kg,respectively.The coverage rates of iodized salt were all higher than 95%,the qualified rates of iodized salt were all higher than 90%.Conclusions After implementation of the new standard iodized salt,the iodine level of children aged 8-10 years is at the appropriate level.The IDD surveillance indicators all meet the national standards for elimination of the disease.

Objective To observe and investigate b-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)levels in patients with hemorrhagic fever of seriously renal syndromes line of continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT)application value.Methods From January 2015 to October 2015 were 48 cases of patients with hemorrhagic fever of seriously renal syndromes as the research object.Conservative treatment after 3 d better person to be included in the control group(24cases), no better continue CRRT(CRRT group, 24cases).Records in the two groups before the conservative treatment in patients with mean arterial pressure(MAP), albumin(propagated), hemoglobin(Hb), b-type natriuretic peptide(BNP)and a 24 h urine(24 h urine);Record after conservative treatment 3 d urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, BNP and 24 h urine(24 h urine).Compare the differences between the two groups of the clinical indicators.Results The control group with CRRT group propagated, urea nitrogen, serum creatinine, BNP-I, BNP-Ⅱ, 24 h urine-Ⅰ, 24 h urine-Ⅱ comparison, the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05).Conclusion The short term the 24 h urine after conservative treatment and BNP levels can better predict whether patients with hemorrhagic fever of Seriously renal syndromes should be line of CRRT.

Objective To analyze the cognitive changes and influencing factors in patients with lacunar cerebral infarction after carotid artery intervention therapy. Methods Sixty lacunar cerebral infarction combined with carotid stenosis patients treated with artery intervention therapy (intervention therapy group) and 68 lacunar cerebral infarction without carotid stenosis patients treated with drug therapy (drug therapy group) were selected. The neuropsychological test was completed at entry and 1, 6, 12 months after entry, and the results were compared with 60 healthy controls (control group). The cognitive changes were observed. The neuropsychological test included mini mental state examination (MMSE), Montreal cognitive assessment scale (MoCA) and cognitive field test. Results There were statistical differences in other scores except the Stroop test C section and Wechsler adult intelligence scale (WAIS-RC) picture arrangement subtest at entry in intervention therapy group and drug therapy group compared with control group (P0.05). In intervention therapy group, the MMSE scores, MoCA total score, Rey-Osterrieth complex figure test (ROCFT), auditory verb learning test (AVLT), and the WAIS-RC picture arrangement subtest, verbal fluency test, WAIS-RC digit span backwards subtest of performing function 12 months after entry were significantly better than those at entry, and there were statistical differences (P0.05);the MMSE score, MoCA total score, ROCFT, the immediate recall, long-time delayed recall and short delayed recall of AVLT, WAIS-RC picture arrangement subtest, verbal fluency test, WAIS-RC digit span backwards subtest of performing function and digit span backwards subtest of WAIS-RC 12 months after entry were significantly better than those at entry, and there were statistical differences (P0.05). In patients intervention therapy group, Logistic regression analysis showed that the MoCA score was related with age, hypertension and low education level (P0.05). Conclusions Cognitive impairment in patients with lacunar cerebral infarction and carotid stenosis is severe and extensive, but most cognition disorders can improve to normal level 12 months after artery intervention therapy.

Objective To explore the effect of nurse-in-charge-led ward rounds on the multi-level training of nurses. Methods The traditional nursing ward round was adopted from Juanuary to December 2013 and the nurse-in-charge-led ward round was adapted from January to December 2014. The nurse-in-charge-led round mode and flowchart was developed by designating one nurse-in-charge to carry out the process of nursing round and other nurses in the group to carry out nursing interrogation, check-up, physical examination, nursing diagnosis, making nursing strategy and conclusion. Additionally, the two links of nurse-in-charge-led seminar and nursing feedback were added in the nursing round. The effect of nursing ward round and the results of nursing examination were compared between before and after the improvement. Results A year after implementing new nursing round mode, the effect of nursing round was significantly better than that before the implementation of new mode and the nursing examination score was significantly higher than that before its implementation (all P < 0.05). Conclusion The nurse-in-charge-led round mode can improve the effect of nursing round, improve clinical and professional ability to discover, analyze and solve problems.

Objective To analyze the risk factors of type 2 diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN),in order to provide incidence for clinical treatment and prevention.Methods Two hundred and eighty-seven patients with type 2 diabetes were divided into DPN group(113 cases) and non-DPN group(174 cases)according to electrophysiological examination and diagnosis.The clinical information were collected including body mass index (BMI),blood pressure,fasting plasma glucose (FPG),2 h postprandial plasma glucose (2 h PG),fasting plasma insulin (FINS),C peptide,glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAl c),blood fat and cholesterin.The DPN prevalence in patients with type 2 diabetes was calculated,and t or x2 analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis were applied.Results Among the 287 patients with type 2,the DPN prevalence was 39.4% (113/287).The level of age,duration of diabetes and smoking in DPN group were significantly higher than those of non-DPN group,while exercise,income situation and educational background were significantly lower than those of non-DPN group (x2 =4.378,8.430,4.525,4.500,4.203,6.890,P < 0.05 or < 0.01).Systolic blood pressure((137.52 ± 16.10) mmHg),FPG ((11.42 ± 3.08) mmol/L),2 hPG ((18.70 ± 4.61) mmol/L),HbA1c ((10.21 ± 2.50)%) in DPN group were higher than those of non DPN group ((systolic pressure (132.67± 15.80) mmHg,FPG(9.96 ±3.76) mmol/L,2 hPG(15.38 ±5.26) mmol/L,HbA1c(9.54 ±2.83)%).In DPN group,Fasting insulin,2 h insulin,fasting C peptide were (13.52 ± 4.92) mmol/L,(36.20 ± 17.52) mmol/L,(1.44 ± 0.62) mmol/L,(3.89 ± 3.01) mmol/L,lower than those of non DPN group ((16.76 ± 5.24) mmol/L,(47.95 ± t5.04) mmol/L,(1.83 ± 0.57) mmol/L,(5.24 ± 3.45) mmol/L),and the differences were significant (t =2.512,3.592,5.635,2.105,5.312,5.863,5.372,3.502,P <0.05 or P < 0.001).Multiple logistic regression analysis revealed that the level of duration of diabetes,HbA1c,2 hPG were positively correlated with DPN prevalence,and those were the independent risk factors of DPN (OR(95%CI) 1.040(1.018-1.062),1.331(1.032-1.717),1.366(1.044-1.787),P<0.05).The level of FINS,Fasting C peptide,2 h C peptide were negatively correlated with DPN prevalence,and those were independent protective factors of DPN (OR (95 % CI) 0.803 (0.725-0.889),0.923 (0.731-0.954),0.863 (0.801-0.930),P < 0.05).Conclusion The occurrence of DPN is common in patients with type 2 diabetes.The indices of duration of diabetes,HbA1c,2 hPG were risk factors of DPN,and there is more dangerous with the lower level of FINS,Fasting C peptide,2 h C peptide.

MicroRNA (miRNA for short) can induce mRNA cleavage or inhibit mRNA translation and regulate gene expression in the post-transcriptional level, which involves cell development, proliferation, differentiation, apoptosis, and a series of important biological processes. Recent studies have found that the abnormal regulation of miRNA's target genes may be involved in tumor resistance. And it is expected to become important tumor resistance-associat-ed molecular markers and therapeutic targets. Mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and its active ingre-dients can affect miRNA to regulate target proteins and target genes mediated tumor multidrug resistance. It can pro-vide new ideas for the mechanism of reversing multidrug resistance by TCM.

RESUMEN

To sieve a new type of polyether polyurethane as an injectable prosthetic nucleus pulpous through testing the cytotoxicity in vitro.Methods Five experimental groups were set as following:that samples 1,2,3 groups were polyether-polyurethane polymerized of different ratio of soft and hard segment with different catalysts; group 4 was polyether polyurethane polymerized slowly at 37 ℃ without catalyst; group 5was polyether polyurethane that toxic monomer responded completely.Additionally,a control group of culture medium was set without material extracts.Get 0.6 mg from each sample product and make into material extracts after disinfection,then dilution them by 50% and culture the mouse fibroblasts(cell L929)until 3 d,4d,5 d,by Adopting 3-(4,5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide(MTT)colorimetric method to compare the 490 nm OD between the materials and control groups obtained by enzyme linked immune analysis,calculate the RGR of cells,and then evaluating the cytotoxicity of the materials.Results The RGR of L929 cell in group 4 and group 5 have no significant difference compared to the control group.Cytotoxic levels were 0 to 1; difference of the RGR of L929 cell between group 1-3 and control group were statistically significant.Cytotoxic levels were 1 to 2,but the cell morphology was normal.Conclusion The material polymerized without catalyst does not show cytotoxicity,and has great potential to be used as a substitute for nucleus pulposus.The cytotoxicity of the materials polymerized with catalyst needs to be tested more.

OBJECTIVE@#To determine the relation between follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) level and bone metabolism-related cytokines in women.@*METHODS@#A cross-sectional study of 703 healthy Chinese women, aged 20-80 years, was conducted. Serum FSH, osteoprotegerin (OPG), leptin, transforming growth factor-beta 1 (TGF-β1), and transforming growth factor-beta 2 (TGF-β2) were detected.@*RESULTS@#Serum FSH was positively correlated with OPG (r=0.447, P<0.01) and TGF-β2 (r=0.344, P<0.01), and negatively correlated with TGF-β1 (r=-0.374, P<0.01). After adjustment of age, a negative correlation was found between FSH and leptin (r=-0.265, P<0.01). The multiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that serum FSH was a negative determinant factor of TGF-β1, and 22.6% changes in TGF-β1 was determined by FSH. FSH was, however, a positive determinant factor of OPG and TGF-β2, and 9.9% and 1.1% of the effect on OPG and TGF-β2 was performed by FSH, respectively. Serum FSH almost had no effect on leptin.@*CONCLUSION@#Serum FSH level in adult women is related to bone metabolism-related cytokines, such as TGF-β1, OPG, and TGF-β2.

RESUMEN

Objective To study the effects of sesamin on lipid metabolism disorders in hyperlipidemia rats. Methods The hyperlipidemia SD rat models were established with high-fat diet. These rats had been interfered by sesamin for seven weeks, and then had their levels of serum lipids, antioxidant enzymes and peroxidation products determined. The morphological changes in their livers were observed. Results Sesamin could reduce the hyperlipidemia rats' serum total cholesterol, triglyceride, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol and apolipoprotein B levels, and properly increase high-density lipoprotein cholesterol and apolipoprotein A contents (P<0.05). It also reduced the rats' free radical metabolites in serum MDA contents, raised the activities of superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase, and enhanced the body's capacity of inhibiting hydroxyl free radicals (P<0.05). Sesamin of high, medium and low dosage had different effects in relieving liver steatosis of the hyperlipidemia rats. Conclusion Sesamin can regulate lipid metabolism of hyperlipidemia rats, alleviate oxidative stress of the body, and improve liver steatosis.

Objective To investigate the expression and effect of zinc-finger protein kuppel-like factor4(KLF4) in leukemic cell line K562. Methods The lever of mRNA and protein of KLF4 is determined with real-time PCR and Western blot in human peripheral monoeyte/macrophage and K562 cells. Results Compared with control group (0.43±0.03), the expression of KLF4 mRNA in K562 cells (0.02±0.01) wassignificant different(P<0,05). The expression of KLF4 protein in human peripheral monocyte macrophage is higher than that in K562 cells. Conclusion The low expression of KLF4 was present in leukemic cell line K562,which may suggest that KLF4 gene maybe a tumor inhibitor factor, and partially involved in leukemogenesis.
