RESUMEN

【Objective】 To observe the clinical effects of syringo-pleural shunt as a supplementary in the treatment of syringomyelia. 【Methods】 Eleven patients with syringomyelia were treated with syringo-pleural shunt from December 2017 to December 2019. Tator’s postoperative evaluation standard was used to determine the clinical effects of improvement of clinical symptoms. MRI and the Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA) score were used to evaluate the improvement of syringomyelia and neurological function. 【Results】 After 3 months, 6 months and 12 months of follow-up, the clinical symptoms and JOA score improved in 10 cases, and 1 case had no improvement and developed severe pleural effusion. MRI showed that syringomyelia was significantly improved in 10 cases, and there was no improvement in 1 case. 【Conclusion】 Syringo-pleural shunt is a safe, direct and effective supplementary treatment method for patients with syringomyelia.

RESUMEN

Objective:To analyze the clinical value of mouse nerve growth factor combined with paravertebral block on lung cancer associated herpes zoster neuralgia, and prefer a portable diagnosis and treat. Methods: The patients were collected from our hospital during the year January 2011 to April 2014. Sixty-two patients with lung cancer associated herpes zoster neuralgia were divided into two groups: Observation group (n=31) and Control group (n=31). The observation group receiving mouse nerve growth factor and paraertebral block anesthesia, while the control group were receiving gabapentin and paraertebral block anesthesia. Visual analogue scale and curative effect were assessed at before and after treatment at the weak 1, weak 2, weak 3, we4k 4.Results: There were no significant statistic difference on VAS score before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05), while there were significant difference between two group in VAS score after 1~4 weak’ treatment(t=5.885,t=8.566,t=6.659,t=8.751,P<0.05). The effective rate of observation group was 96.8%, while the control group was 80.6%, there were significant difference between the two group(x2=4.47,P<0.05).Conclusion: The total Effective rate of mouse nerve growth factor combined with paravertebral block on lung cancer associated herpes zoster neuralgia was 96.8%, which was safe and reliable and was worthy of clinical practice.

RESUMEN

The microangioarchitecture of hippocampus was studied with the replica scanning electron microscope in rats and infants. Typical arteries and their branches were observed in the dorsal and ventral hippocampus of infants. Interarterial, intervenous and arteriovenous anastomoses were seen. Veins and their branches, capillary network and its anastomoses were also observed. A capillary divided into two branches and then they were together with each other like a fried dough twist shape. A vascular unit was observed which consisted of one vein situated centrally and three to four arterioles peripherally. Imprints of precapillary sphincters and postcapillary sphincters wene seen in human hippocampus. Morphology of the hippocampus vessels in rats was not completely similar to men. The diameter of branches which originated from arterioles suddenly changed from the larger to the smaller. There were a lot of impressions of smooth muscles in larger arterioles and their furcations.

RESUMEN

We investigated five enzymes of three metabolic pathways and an index of utilization of generated adenosine triphosphate of smooth muscular contraction. Five enzymes in the vessel walls were seniquantitatively evaluated in the aging rats(SD), Using histochemical method and bright-field microscopy. Lactate dehydrogenase showed significant reactivity which increased with vessel diameter and age in hippocampus. Succinate dehydrogenase and cytochrome oxidase showed little reactivity in hippocampal vessel in all age groups tested. Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase reaction showed slight to moderate reaction. Myosin ATPase reactivity was high in the hippocampal vessels, arteries and arterioles showed very strong reaction, veins showed strong reaction, capillary showed moderate to strong reaction. And then we discussed the relationship between vascular disease and these enzymes in hippocampus.
