ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the distribution of host animals and the serological distribution and virulence gene of Yersinia eterocolitica in Gaomi City. Methods Sample stools of poultry and domestic and diarrhea patients,as well as flies and chilled (frozen) poultry and domestic animal meats in Gaomi City were preliminarily identified and the suspected strains isolated were sent to Shandong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention for further identification from 2012 to 2015.The bacteria were analyzed by the systematic biochemistry to determine the serotypes,bio-types and virulence genes [Yersinia enterocolitica adhesion aggression site gene (ail),heat-tolerance enterotoxin gene (ystA),organism type 1A enterotoxin gene (ystB),adhesin (yadA),yop regulator transcription activation action factor (virF)].Results Eighty-five stains of Yersinia enterocolitica were detected in 2 860 specimens and the detection rate was 3.0% (85/2 860).The chicken strains accounted for 50.6% (43/85),the swine strains accounted for 20.0% (17/85),and the sheep strains accounted for 10.6% (9/85).In all the serotypes, the highest was O ∶ 8 (24.7%,21/85),followed by O ∶ 5 (12.9%,11/85),the bacteria were detected in the stools of chickens, duck, and swine etc.,as well as in diarrhea patients and chilled (frozen) poultry and domestic animal meats, biotype is 1A.One strain O ∶ 3/4 was detected from swine stool with ail, ystA,yadA and virF genes. Conclusions The Yersinia enterocolitica is widely distributed and both pathogenic and non-pathogenic strains coexist in Gaomi City;the main serological types are O ∶ 5/1A and O ∶ 8/1A;the pathogenic serotype is O ∶ 3/4,and chicken, swine and sheep are the main host animals.

ABSTRACT

Effects of anisodamine on renal microcirculation were compared with that of dopamine. A vasodilation in the preglomerular vessels at concentrations from 10~(-6)--10~(-4)M of both anisodamine and dopamine were measured and the dilatory response of anisodamine in the proximal interlobular artery was higher than that of dopamine. Bath at concentrations of 10~(-3)M, anisodamine caused the vasodilation of all the preglomerular vessels, but dopamine elicited the vasoconstriction of preglomerular vessels except for the afferent arteriole near to the glomerulus. A vasoconstriction of the arterioles which drain the glomeruli was found with topical application of anisodamine from 10~(-6) to 10~(-3) M but dopamine only at 10~(-3) M. After pretreatment with haloperidol the effects on pre-and postglomerular vessels of anisodamine at all concentrations and dopamine at low concentrations were abolished, but at higher concentrations the effect of dopamine was not blocked. The results indicated that a better therapeutic efficacy of anisodamine in clinical use might be dependent upon its vasodilatory response of preglomerular vessels without the biphasic effect of dopamine and also depends on its vasoconstriction of postglomerular vesseles.

ABSTRACT

The effect of ahalysantinfarctasum (AFT) on acute hypoxic pulmonary hypertension of dogs was examined. The'decrease in pulmonary vascular resistance and a dose dependent attenuation of acute hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction by AFT were found. AFT did not alter systemic vascular resistance. PaO_2 and PaCO_2 6-keto-PGF_(1?) increased significantly, however after the intravenous infusion of AFT, TXB_2 did not change. It is suggested that AFT may attenuate hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction by tnducing the synthesis or release of PG I to nreyent nulmonary hypertension

ABSTRACT

The hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction (HPV) in Yunan monkey has been observed. The results showed that acute alveolar hypoxia caused significant pulmonary hypertension, associated w~th art increase in pulmonary vascular resistance. The maximal response appeared 3 min after onset of hypoxia. Monkey may be proposed as moderate responder in HPV. The HPV in monkey was blocked by lipoxygenase inhibitor diethylcarbamazine and enhanced by cyclooxy genase blocker...indomethacin. It is suggested that lipoxygenase metabolites leukotrienes probably play the role of a mediator in HPV of monkey, whereas cyclooxygenase metabolites prostaglan dins act as medulator.

ABSTRACT

Objective To investigate the etiological characteristics of non-bacterial pneumonia in children in Xi'an. Methods Virus IgM antibody was detected by solid phase ELISA technique, and mycoplasma pneumonia(MP) IgM antibody was detected by Au-mark immunodotting technique. Results In a total of 302 cases, mycoplasma pneumonia and / or virus were detected in 204, with the positive infection rate as 67.55%(204/302); 328 cases were found with positive strains of pathogens including 120 mycoplasma(MP) strains (36.6%) among which were 77 coxsackie virus(CV) strains (23.5%), 56 respiratory syncytial virus(RSV) strains (17.1%), 39 influenza virus strains(11.9%), 25 adenovirus strains(7.6%) and 11 EBV strains(3.4%). The single infection rate was 51.99%(157/302) while the mixed infection rate was 15.56%(47/302). The onset of non-bacterial pneumonia in Xi'an could be seen in all seasons of the year. There was significant seasonal difference among the incidences caused by different pathogens(P0.05). The highest incidence age was between 7 months to 3 years. Conclusion MP, CV, RSV are the leading pathogens that cause non-bacterial pneumonia in children in Xi'an. ELISA and Au-mark immunodotting techniques are simple and quick to detect viruses and mycoplasma.
